Nice video and I like your kit.
One item that you might want to consider adding is paracord. I have 20 ft minimum (usually 50-100 feet) in every 'kind' of field kit I have. It's light, strong, cheap and useful for everything! You can hang an antenna with it and tie the world back together.
Take Care and be safe, John
Great idea. Thanks!
I have some fairly thick bungie cord cable ties on my go bag (think hair elastics with a ball!) They slip into the molle webbing on the bag and can be used for attaching things to it temporarily - or attaching the bag to something else. I can then use them in the field for antenna mounting or cable management. Recently I actually used one for my daughter's hair, although the weighty ball turned her plait into a weapon!
Love the kit. I have a Pinecil soldering iron that runs off a battery bank. If I don’t need it, the battery bank can charge my phone.
I would carry a bettery bank to charge my phone, also.
@@davidsradioroom9678 define “better battery bank”.
@@GeorgeAdams Maybe I should have said an extra battery bank.
@@davidsradioroom9678 makes sense. Or a bigger one. But I can charge the battery bank via USB off my big 12V bank so I got options.
Nice tool kit I want to make one up for myself and this video is a great list to get started so I don't overlook anything. Thanks and 73
Just ordered that tool bag through your link.
Thanks Larry!
Lots of goodies jam packed in there! Cheers for sharing.🍻🤓
I see I have some additions to my OMG bag now! Great video.
Since I have a tendency to lose hex keys I'd add them (or one of the folding sets) to my kit in lieu of one of the screwdriver sets.
I have a metric, standard, and star type 'allen' wrench kits (
Great video! Love the bag, the may compartments are not only useful but quite practically positioned. I need to get some stuff to do field repairs in my go bag, it's just a bit small. SO it is going to be a trade-off between preparedness and size that I will need to consider.
Great video...great info!... Thanks and 73
Nike Kit Jason! tnx, 73 - KF6IF
No flashlight or headlamp? 73 Sig
Never really considered a flashlight part of the repair kit but I always have at least two sources of light with me. It wouldn't be a bad idea at all to add one to a repair kit.
@@KM4ACK sounds like you have it covered. 👍
