Algorithm popped this up in 2023 almost 16 years later. Still the best tandem of all time. Blessed to have seen it in person. Hope both of y’all are doing great!
This is perfection... exactly what tandem drill is all about... the speed fluctuation, the intensity, the tosses, ALL OF IT.... Very very VERY well done. =D
I just noticed something after watching this again... watch the legs at 3:38. Im blown away at how precise we both were. Just a late observation. Thank You all for continiung to enjoy this performance.
Brother to this date I still admire drill and practice it. Its slowly a fading hobby and most high schools dont take it seriously anymore due to the lack of funding. Regardless it made me physically stronger, highly aware, and competitive. I enjoy watching old drill videos, it gives me the same feelings 10 years ago.
even after watching this video and the very few others of it out there, I'm still awestruck by the performance as a whole. This routine is so well constructed and written, This is the kind of routine that took so much dedication, heart, emotion, and mental strain that I personally don't believe it could be mimicked. Fantastic routine, hope that this has reached others in the Drill world as it has me. ~Jordan

i love this video, i watch it almost everyday, I've seen recent tandems and nothing is compared to this, i just have a few questions.. -what school is this? -is there another version of the video? -have you guys thought in performing on ISIS? :D -is there a video of the armed exhibition platoon?
@MALOG33z not a school, this was for the World Drill Championship, you have to be graduated from high school already to compete. anyway i know both of these guys are from the kings guard of hawaii.
Or perhaps you are just that impressed by the performance. It would be very had to fast foward only two people and their sounds and leave everything else at regular speed. So thank you I guess, Id take that as a complement to the both of us.

@nc9869 this was the 1972 performance, we are in 2023, 51 years later, assuming they were in their teens, between 14-17, they are 65-68 more less.
