Triumph have really done a great job at updating the look of the Bonneville family over the years.
Just these tiny changes to make it look just modern enough to keep their classic lines.

Fast forward almost 30 years without a bike, I decided to buy a new bike, and I bought the Speedmaster solely from sitting on it and watching reviews. I never test rode one and did not know anyone personally that owned one. It turned out to be the best bike I’ve ever owned. Not to mention drop dead gorgeous. :-)

I'm wondering if you can share your thoughs about passenger seat in the 2022 version, Im considering the chance to buy a SpeedMaster, but Im afraid about the passenger seat because I will need a good one to ride with my wife and the opinions in the Internet are not so good about it... thanks in advance!

I ride a 2015 Triumph america- Triumph did their job well in designing the speedster/america its a far superior machine in all aspects to the sportster

Tremendous ride out, luvverly views and reservoirs. If you like the Speedmaster, take a look at RedAng Revival. He's about 5'8 of 9 and he's put on floorboards that he calls road boards to stretch his legs out on his. He reviews bikes but does vids on his Speed after as well.😊

I liked the 48 except for the fact it's a poorly designed Sportster, being short shocked to lower the seat. What a hack job. Then there is the fact that the riding position was all wrong for me. If the riding position is right for you, it's still a hack job of a motorcycle because of the way it was short shocked to lower the seat height. It's a shame too, because the Sportster motor is about the best thing Harley ever came up with in my opinion. Too bad they didn't keep with the evolution design where the transmission had a door instead of it requiring the cases to be split to overhaul the transmission. What a mistake that was.
I sat on a Speed Master and that bike fits me. It's a riding position that makes sense. I can see that being comfortable all day. It simply makes sense for my body. It wasn't made to make it look like you are having fun riding a motorcycle. It was made so you could enjoy riding a motorcycle.
However I do like the Sportster 1200 motor anyways and I suppose my dream bike would be a Speed Master with a 1200 Sportster motor in it. Call it a Sports Master or something. Then put the Triumph motor in the 48 and call it the Bonneville Edition or something and sell that, and keep the other.
I traded my R9T for a new Speedmaster Chrome back in July. Absolutely love the bike (I don't take a pillion so took the rather small pillion seat off, which also improves the looks). I don't know how Triumph got those lovely-sounding pipes through Euro 5 regs, but I'm glad they did!

I own a Harley Electra Glide and a Honda GoldWing. I have been smitten with the Triumph T-120 and the Speedmaster. Been to my local dealership three times this month. ‘Just looking” 😂. Seriously, a Triumph will be in my lineup soon enough.
