Dear Ichang & jimmy, we as a muslim will respect your content as to what you wanna upload on your channel. & we feel that you don’t need to state in the video what we should or should not avoid watching. Though we understand & appreciate how thoughtful & mindful you guys were with the gesture but, it’s your channel. you do you. Spreading love & support always ❤
Yes please don't worry about it! If I don't want to see something I will just skip it, no worries 😆🥰
I'm so happy to see this from Muslim community. When I was young all Malaysians work and eat together no problem as long as food is segregated. Appreciate others for being thoughtful but not imposing it.
Nowadays... Sigh.
@@Raksasaification
Nowadays, both side want to impose.
Both parties retaliate.
So sad
@@Raksasaification firstly, for a channel who have to put titles that we have to skip their video at a certain point says alot about our people here. Kinda sad when it’s their channel first & foremost nth to do with us. No need for all that. For me personally i have no problem with people of different faith eat what they want. I share the same table with my chinese/indian colleauges/friends when we dine out during lunchtime etc. Nothing to do with faith. It’s about acceptance & respect. That is all there is to it. Is as simple as that.
Yeah, don't worry, Jimmy & iChang. Majority Muslims don't mind, we understand. It's interesting to see cuisines from other races too.
Wow! the man can speak Japanese that's my father, haha! Thank you so much for sharing about the food and culture of my hometown on your UA-cam channel. It makes me feel warm and welcoming during my days away from home.😊😊😊
wah, i was amazed when u guys put note to muslim viewer to skip video because you guys eating pork noddle.... respect for you guys.....
if i were a muslim, i would see that as an insult, lol that muslims are that sensitive and have to be protected 🤣🤣🤣
Ichang and Jimmy you both did far better job in promoting Malaysia than the Ministry of Tourism. I have never seen so much through your lens. Well done. It is very good for those who are not aware of such beautiful places and lovely eatery available within the country. Good job guys. Keep it up.
There is nothing said about Lenggong by Tourism Perak,
IChang and Jimmy so respectful of the Muslim viewer. So kind both of you.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
yaaa but i just dont skip it hahaha
i nampak yg buat mee letak mee atas towel yg dah hitam tu 😂😂😂
ahhh risauuu
This shouldn’t be something too be highlighted actually.
@jii2108 😅 yelah. Patut mi tu dia patut letak dalam mangkuk..
@@StevenTanWilddiscus
> This shouldn’t be something to be highlighted actually.
Indeed. Malays and muslims should realize that the highlight on which part to skip because of certain food isn't a positive perception of muslims (in general) to both foreigners and non-muslims who are in Malaysia. Malays need to understand this is sad and feel the need to change this wrong perception for Malaysia's image in the world.
Example: Do non-muslim Indian Malaysians feel the need to avoid seeing Malays eating beef in the video? No.
Honestly your content is much better than most of the Malaysian influencers (let me be frank most of them are just attention-seekers and have no specific talents), and you guys are just being yourselves and showing sincerity and utmost respect, which these give us comfort when watching your videos.
And also your videos always make me wanna visit those places 😊
You guys are REAL social media influencers.
Agreed...because you are more of cultural n gastronomical adventurers
Kafe paling last tu betul2 berkonsepkan Kampong. The vibes very nice.
Tourism Perak Malaysia should ask ichang to collaborate for Visit Perak Year 2024
@rashdanismail If you are Perak citizens, you should introduce the interesting place by yourself first. Last time, Penang, Melaka, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak weren't famous in the past, these state people always became volunteer tour guides and took their friends to interesting places.😊 In the past, the previous state tourism government also didn't promote.
Saya tak skip pun, terus tonton. Nice couple. May God bless both of you.😊❤😊
27:43 Ikan Pekasam, salty-sour fermented fish (fermented with light-roasted rice, asam keping & salt). Usually fried together with red onion slices & thai chilli.
29:41 Boiled unripe (or near ripe) papaya (act as ulam).
Thank u
I was wondering what those were. I will try! 😮
Ikan pekasam my favourite too..always bring home when travel to perak
That rm30 serving with that authentic style kampung..ikan pekasam n masak lemak is the highlight..ok i will go there next time😂
The polite notification; wins our affection. Special, they are indeed!
They really deserve the UA-cam GOLD plate..let's all manifest sama-sama
Wallaaaaaa...sebagai anak Perak. Bangga dengan episode kali ni..❤❤❤...but hey..I also don't know the history of meteor before In Lenggong
Rm30 for all of the food set and drinks is really cheap...
It's Ikan pekasam.. i really love the ikan pekasam.. its fermented river fish. Its give the salty a bit soury when u fried them.. with a lot of bawang goreng and cili padi.
The yellow one ulam is papaya..
the sweetness of the bawang evens out the saltiness & sourness of the pekasam. I used to hate it as a kid, but now I'm the only one the my family who eats it lol
@@Ruriko.Y Yeah I think among Malaysians also some like it, some don't. For me, I love eating it alone with just white plain rice.
Kan..murah gila 30 skli air..ingtkn 50++
Wow... many Malaysians now watch your channel to learn more about Malaysia!!! I Now I must visit Lenggong and try the wanton mee! :)
Sometimes I feel like ichang and Jimmy is more msian then we are, where they explore some places in msia that we never heard of. Applause for both of u
Thanks for the disclaimer regarding the pork scene guys. Even if u didn't mention it, we understand. Thanks again
Tauhu bergedil is actually everywhere in Malaysia. Especially in Ramadhan you’ll find a lot of them.
I like the kampung style restaurant. That ikan pekasam. My favorite 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I'm glad you both starts 2024 with exploring deeper to local places/kampung. Going to places where Malaysian/local didn't know exist, it can be good guide/references for us if we want to go for a short trip or planning for holiday, you know, jalan-jalan, makan-makan, creates memory with family or friends! If you could, i hope you can explore all the countries in Malaysia (specially the kampung/small town and its speciality)
always got surprise in this channel.. really wow Malaysians.
Malaysia needs more good marketing for the tourist spot.. and polish up all these gems..
@HolyKALim Actually supposed the Perak People should introduce this place via social media. Examples:Johor,Penang and Melaka people always leave comments about their interesting place.😊
We Malaysian muslim live in a multicultural and multireligion nation wont easily offended by any of your content involving pork. So no worries guys.
in malay it called "makan berhidang" usually in old days its common practice mostly in Malay Wedding ceremonies to serve dishes in "dulang/talam"
Respect for muslim viewers. Good job guys
Sayur/ulam ‘paku rawan’ (yellow velvetleaf).
Belimbing buluh fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi), a souring agent.
As a muslim, pork is not offensive for me to watch. Idk if there's anyone with opposite opinion. All living beings is the creature of the Lord. Anyways keep inspiring Ichang and Jimmy.
Wow. What a find. I must copy all the food shown by team IChang.. made me drool just now. But I love the kampung late vibe💪
Ikan pekasam❤❤...kerabu pucuk paku, ulam paku rawan..
Wow beautiful Lenggong. Will be on my list to visit when in Malaysia. 😍
That fish with bawang goreng, most likely is preserve fish call " pekasam " , not the same way the process of making ikan masin,it is kept in a jar with lots of salt and asam keping for few days. still salty in taste like ikan masin but the fish flesh is not dry ....
Ok, now Suak Saudagar in my travel bucket list.
The true beauty of nature can be experienced at Royal Belum State Park 30 mins drive from Gerik to Banding Island very close to Lenggong it is said to be the oldest rainforest in the world at 130 million years old with abundant of wildlife making 300,000 hectares of rainforest it's home.😊
We were here last Christmas...enjoyed most of the food you both hilighted and visited those interesting places too. So happy that you both enjoy this hidden gem of Perak!
The elders in Malaysia (Malay & Chinese) most of them were connected (or had experienced) with the IJA & IJN in WW2. Some of them were taken to Japan for working. In modern day, post-WW2, there are many Malaysians working in Japan, especially in the mid 1980s to early 1990s.
PM Mahathir era. Look East policy. He encourage Malaysians to study in Japan.
a muslim here because you guys are so thoughtful I din't skip and watch the whole video, you guys deserve the watchtime for the ad revenue
Handmade fresh noodles cook over wood fire just looks so pleasing
Wow, the lakeside looked so serene and tranquil. The Malay traditional food looked amazing, there are ikan bakar, masak lemak, kerabu, ulam, sambal and lot more.
Ikan ...pekasam,
The vege is...paku merawan@kelayau.
Thank you for the note and kind thought. But even when I need to refill my glass of water, i would put you on pause. Don't want to miss any seconds or minutes from your vlog. As long as you enjoy your food, there's no problem viewing anything from you.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏🏻🥹
Ikan masak lemak tu ngam cecah sambal belacan...nyummy
I have been to the small cafe - Suak Saudagar, belongs to my son-in-laws friend. Unfortunately we arrived quite late, so we managed to taste the pavlova. Nice place. If you want to show ur children antique like old radio, TV, typewriter and many more you can come here. The father of the owner collected old items from around that area to furnish the cafe.
I’m loving the fact that you guys are doing really deep dives into all aspects of Malaysian life, culture, history and of course, the cuisine of the local communities outside of KL. best believe I’m taking notes. Great, informative content. Well done guys
Cantik lah Lenggong
Everyti,e watching your video, is also my healing sessions😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Kuala Kangsar the royal town of Perak is so close by to Lenggong. Many places to visit there too.
I’m getting so hungry watching your video😅😅That Malay food looks SO delicious!
The sayur is young papaya ,not pumpkin it boiled and it is as salad . It is good to dip in sambal
Another 30mins north you would have been in a town called Gerik. In gerik you should visit pulau banding. That’s where u will find the oldest rainforest in the world i think called Royal Belum. Also since both of you enjoy food u should try the restaurant at the gerik resthouse. The operator’s wife cooks gerik traditional food.
Royal Belum and Pulau Banding (Belum Rainforest Resort) was such a gem to experience, just went in January and it was truly eye opening. So much beauty, pristine nature, greenery and very under-marketed , much larger than Taman Negara. Hope Ichang and Jimmy can experience it too!
Fuh....mouth watering kampung style....with magnificent view!
25:26 It's was Paku Rawan flower bud. Kampung style veggie. Don't have to grow as farming. Can just picked as easily grow along muddy waterways.
When the religious sensitivities are not the issue anymore, Malaysia will truly flourish & move forward better.
no it is not. France is banning Hijab, Netherlands is banning muslim, are they both flourish and move forward better than Malaysia? if your answer is yes then you have a problem with Islam.
@@Murad-qr9jw that’s y religious sensitivities need to be lower down & not suppose to use as a political tools. Not just Islam I meant, all religions, history told the truths. I hope all religion can tolerate other as well.
I'm watching this video at almost 1am in the morning...the wanton mee and soup looks so delicious!!!!!! I'm feeling giddy and so hungry watching it! Gotta go to Perak and look for the place! Love from Kuching, Sarawak 😍😍
I prefer this kind of adventure. Going to rural areas and find "Dragonball"... Good video iChang and Jimmy... 👍
I love how malaysian cuisine are so close to Indonesian one.
But Id love to try it someday.
We Malaysians are getting a lot of info from them abt our country … truly amazing….
Thanks Bos visit perak ❤❤❤❤
So nice the wanton mee 🎉
The salted fish, we call it ikan pekasam. It is fermented using rice. I think there is a version of ikan pekasam in Japan too. I don't remember the name of it, but there is a village/town/ area in Japan that do this.
Yes,true. In japan they call it Kusaya, many produced it in Izu island
kampung style dishes with lake view...i like it
Wahh the last cafe with kampung vibes. Very nice. Tahu bergedil is one of my fav especially during ramadan.
Mantap tofu bergedil
You lovely couple enjoying good food and nice view of Malaysia! This is great life!
Thank you for visiting my hometown. Hope you enjoy the trip ❤
Tauhu bergedil with kicap sauce is also my fav. And yes It is VERY addictive.
Beautiful. You have the knack of picking dragon balls. You started the dragon year with Perak. Thank you.
Nope. I will not skip even a second on your video. Just a simple pork eating video doesn't bother me. But tq anyway for the discretion. Have fun in my state Perak. ❤
Wow! U guys went to Lenggong. This is my late mother hometown & it's been a long times since I went there. I still remember went to that museum & also go fishing at Tasek Raban with my cousins when we were young 😂
Wan Tan Mee looks so good~
I am so amazed by the two of you. You did so much research on Perak Man, the meteorite, the places to have breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks for the trip! I learnt so much from your video and I am a Malaysian!
Really appreciate your great content and yes, I do hope our Tourism Board engage you for more interesting discovery on food, history, local people (Lenggong folks who can speak Japanese with you due to their history back in their days was a great surprise!), places of interest, hidden gems like local cafes, etc. HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR, Ichang & Jimmy. You are doing a great job! Kambateh!! 🎉🎉🎉

Love your content discovering small towns in Malaysia❤️
Thanks. Nice amazing content!😊
Suka tgk ichang n Jimmy. Boleh terima mknn malaysia🎉 tnpa kritik.
Welcome to Perak!
The salted fish is called IKAN PERKASAM (fresh water fish fermented with rice)
From watching this video, i can't help but notice how similar our wonton noodles looks similar to how a bowl of ramen! just without the dumplings!
There are alot of "oishi" words come from ichang. Meaning the foods are authentically delicious and Dragon Ball material.
Kampong Beng sebuah kampong yg cantik viewnya..terletak diantara tasek n sungai..kalau nak puas kena tidor..lenggong banyak waterfall..n tempat yg segar jauh dari kesibukkan bandar...cuba datang lagi n tidor di Lenggong..boleh ke thailand melalui Pengkalan Hulu..
my favourite part of your videos are moments where iChang expresses disbelief everytime Jimmy continues eating despite being full just minutes earlier
I love this content.
😊🙏 Thank You So Much iChang & Jimmy for bringing us to explore all these lesser known places in Malaysia which offer good delicious foods , drinks & scenery! Arigato Gozaimasu! 🙏🌷🌿🍎🍊🌏🕊🇲🇾🇯🇵
at 10.16 iChang pic of wakeing up look wahahaha... that good one.
Very good content...we appreciate it...
Thank you friend, for taking me on a trip to enjoy Malaysian food
Lenggong...❤❤❤❤
Wow...many people there can speak japan language. That place really a perfect match for you....👍👍👍
Enjoy your adventures here in Perak Ichang and Jimmy ! Lots of love to you guys 🫰
must try this wanton mee... yum yum...:)
iChang and Jimmy ... Ipoh Mali. Thank you for your visit Lenggong ...
The fried ikan called 'ikan pekasam'. A fermented fish with salt, grinded rice n asam keping. If am not mistaken it's a ikan gelama n the ulam called bunga betik which is good to lower down the cholesterol.
Thx for the friendly disclaimer. Respect both of you👍👍
Selamat datang ke lenggong..ikan pekasam jangan lupa beli..makanan terbaik orang kampung..
