Hah, I remember being extremely impressed by this when it was released. Especially since I had no Android phone..
Same for me . I was impressed seeing how well the UI was simulated it was like 1:1 representation of Cyanogen mod ui
This on vita will be on another level

Great as a proof of concept but I would not replace the stock XMB.
My issues are as follow:
1. Booting games is slow and with slight delay in controls when playing games.
2. There is still the matter of the android nav bar that appears.
3. I couldn't get wifi to recognize (yes switch on psp was on).
4. Messages is non-interactive. The icon just sits there.
5. I couldn't find a way to change home screen icon so as to customize with actual useful apps being displayed.
-Meaning you have to go into app drawer and then choose which app you want every time.
6. Everything is in TEXT list form. You don't get the nice graphics when choosing a game like that of the stock XMB.
I feel this frontend would be very nice change to the stock XMB but it needs more customization features and the graphics added back in when selecting a game.
It really feels more like an attached controller to a (non-touch screen) smart phone.
Sadly this Project has ended due to Cyanogen/Mod being defunct.
However. LineageOS is now the successor so we might see a similar build in the future.

Man, this console would work so well with an os like android, or at least raspberry pi, something like that, but I guess the vita is pretty much the closest thing we have to that, speaking of the vita, I really want to get a blue 2000 model, it's so pretty and pretty much all I need when it comes to retro gaming , the vita is got it all covered. But it's kinda expensive, the cheapest one I found was 106 dollars.
dude , 106 is a great price ( i dont know the condition of the system ) .
Btw you could make this the default laucher by using the autostart plugin
@@pspmav it said that it came with 64 gb sd2vita that's full of emulators, games and other stuff, the console is also modded, but I'm gonna have to check it up again to see what else it has. Edit: it seems like it's in a very good condition, it also comes with a case.

@@pspmav mmhm, who knows maybe I'll get it sometime, I know its a really good deal, especially the fact that it comes with a 64gb card.

Ur PSP looks cool lol. My mom loves anime, Also thx for the tutorial. Ive tried to do this on a 3DS but the project was discontinued, Until I decided the PSP could be great.

before installing i have things to do, my metal gear solid, i'm stuck at chrysalis battle, it was about to explode, pause it for a night 😅

@@pspmav actually the second time, the first time the extra data 860 MB corrupt and the save data too. os i delet it all the game, downloaded data and save data. and transfer it through cables. what a hard to tame chrysalis!!!

You could use it as an alternative for xmb and boot into it everytime you restart your PSP by using a Plugin . But the only downside is that it can crash sometime

No it's not an emulator , it's more like an Android lookalike launcher for the PSP
