Many many moons ago I was a young mom of twin girls. They were sweet, bright, and knew they were cute at 3. But I couldn't keep them out of the road. Divide and concur was their moto. My friend was taking us for a ride to help deliver some Avon she sold. As we traveled down a country lane I saw my answer. We stopped I got them out, then pointed to a very flat, dry, non smelly dead cat. We had cats so they knew what it was. I said see the kitty. They both said yes. I said" that kitty will never see it's mommy again." They looked shocked. I said "the kitty didn't listen to its mommy, went into the road, now it's dead." They stood there, looked at me and said 'yes mommy'. We went home. They did not go in a road again.
Moral of this story is sometimes a shock kicks stupid in the ass.

Not all conspiracies are true but there can be an element in truth in each of them. Pay attention to what is happening, file away what you cannot do anything about, take action on what you can as the pieces fall into place. Don't let these things become an idol and a stumbling block for your walk by obsessing over them.

I’m in zone 4b,2 more weeks until my last frost date.planting peach and apple trees,garden beds are ready and covered,potatoes chitted, and ready to stack more firewood. I’m 64.

4b-5a they changed it I guess. I have everything but beans, cukes, squash, tomatoes and peppers in pots everything else is in the ground. I am 71 and just taking the chance since weather has been good. I am right on the Great Lakes and sometimes that actually can warm us depending on the lake temps.
Hi I have lived in 5(-20 or more is not uncommon) for most of my gardening years. I never thought I could plant peaches and they would live, much less produce peaches. I bought a Reliance Dwarf Peach from Miller nursery who is now Strouts nursery. The tree was 5 foot tall and 1 /2 inches wide. It claimed to survive minus 30. Well it did but I tried so hard to protect from the wind and cold, it bloosem too soon. The next year I got half a bushell of the juiciest peaches I have ever had. So good luck to you and enjoy the yummiest peaches you can eat.
We're in Colorado so still not totally safe yet haha! Got a bunch of seedlings and stuff ready and amending my soil and getting ready for our short little growing season!
For any who want to look it up... Occam's Razor. Much better if they just look up the Biblical passage you referenced. As I keep sharing with my wife: we just need to keep doing what is right by YHVH. That is key.

My 2yo didn't believe me that the grill gets hot when I turn on the propane. He touched it even through I explained in many different ways that it will hurt. A month later while I was turning the propane on, he let his 5yo brother know that it will hurt to touch the grill because it was going to get hot. Lesson learned, not just hot=hurt, but how the grill works and how to explain it to someone else, all at the age of 2. Smarter than most adults I know!
We’ve taken a beating here in TX with the rain and storms. Had to replace a lot of seeds and tomatoes are struggling. Need some sun!

When my son was 8-9 months old, I had him in a walker and he'd follow me all over the house. I was always cooking and was worried about him touching the stove or glass oven door. I'd touch it and pretend to get burned, say "hot, owie, hot". He'd laugh and laugh. He thought I was so funny. He'd try it, always when the oven wasn't on and he'd laugh. One day, the oven was on and he laughed then touched it. I held myself back and watched him, because I knew he was going to do it. Well, he stopped in his tracks, stopped laughing, looked shocked. As I watched him, I said hot. Turned out that "hot" was one of his first words that he spoke and he never did it again.

Zachary, my wife and I have come to an understanding that, things we see on the internet and YT are great and eye opening. But, we dont have the ability to change anything we see or hear. We cant stop stupid. So we hear and talk about it and then go about our business. We have also found out that most people dont want to hear about bad things in the world.

Thank you. I believe the Scriptures blessings vs curses much more than man made "what ifs". Speaking to our Almighty Father petioning or praising brings those blessings (however small or large) all the time if you stay aware and live with joy. The conspiracies, or machinations of the evil ones, don't infect my joy as they are merely attempts to destroy it. Blessings to all!

Conspiracy - Definition: A conspiracy is a secret agreement between TWO or more people to commit an unlawful or harmful act
In my experience, incompetence can be a clever disguise for malice, especially when called out. I can justify malice EASILY using incompetence as the crutch to lean on. So, while the quote you cited sounds good, I've OBSERVED, and if you consider it you likely have too, people behaving maliciously but then when confronted pleaded ignorance.
Have you ever listened to a House or Senate committee hearing? LOTS of "I don't know, I didn't know, I don't have that information" lots of "we were unaware of", "we'll do better". etc....If they were truly THAT incompetent then they should be fired immediately, they weren't so I'm forced to affirm my conclusion that they were in fact, behaving with malicious intent.
The problem is that THEY DON'T SEE what they are doing as "malicious". Was it incompetence or maliciousness that caused democrats to order that those who refused to get an experimental vaccine be expelled from their work, military service or to seek to isolate non-vaccinated away from the vaccinated, creating two classes of people?
Was it maliciousness or incompetence when some Australians were literally banned from going for so much as a walk/run/jog during C? Or here in the US when someone going for a drive by themselves was arrested? Or going for a swim? OR protesting.... OR...fill in the blank ___. These are not the antics of the classical lovable but incompetent Sheriff Roscoe P Coltrane, but the actions of those drunk on their own power, who saw these acts as an affront to their power and authority and acted in malice towards those who didn't agree with them and OBEY.
Even today, we see lawfare used to punish political enemies where drummed up charges can be leveled against ANYONE while those guilty of similar or greater offenses are given carte blanche to do as they please.
While the connotation conjures images of Cabals of power from fiction, conspiracies don't need an army.....they only require TWO actors conspiring to do any single deed to the detriment of another. That is literally the book definition (I even checked just in case it was changed as I typed this).
While we may think that conspiracies are rare, the reality is that they are the opposite (common) and we are often blind to see them as such because we have been inculcated into believing that in order for it to be a conspiracy it MUST be orders of magnitude greater. Perhaps if we applied the classical definition, we'd see that we trip over them daily. They may not be as impressive as the cabals of power from fiction but they are far more insidious because we often ignore them, unaware until it's too late: that we can no longer sell raw m.... Lose our job for not taking a shot.... Can't leave home due to public health.... Can't worship due to governor's orders.... These abuses didn't begin as vast centralized plans. They were ordinary, mundane power grabs that weren't relevant until they became relevant.
We should be so jealous over our rights and liberties so much that we are constantly looking so that we might see the direction we are heading long in advance of our arrival. It is the price of freedom....eternal vigilance.
I think the book of Job and the many times in the Bible that God "allows" someone's heart to be hardened and things to travel on a path of His promise... plus my own experiences.. keeps me from the paralysis of overthinking. I know God will compel.. His Will will be done... whatever transpires is IAW His design. Even the bad stuff we don't like, and the things that hurt and scare us.
The angel comes to Mary and says to her "You're God's most favorite and He's chosen you to birth the Messiah" and she says "I am a servant of the Lord and I will do whatever he asks"... blind faith and obedience. It's no wonder He chose her. When we make a promise to serve God.. we don't get to know how and He decides the terms by which that happens (Creator and all). Covenants and contracts are always on His terms. I guess it takes the conspiratorial nature of man and puts it into context (at least for me it does). So, God and I have a covenant: I work for Him in any capacity He sees fit and He watches over my spirit and I'm forever grateful for it. My life is His tool to use to bring others to His design for eternal life in His Kingdom. He's not going to let someone destroy His tool before He is done using it. My suffering is for the benefit of others; but he forgives my slips because he knows what he created. If God compels me (and He makes it obvious, He knows me) I do what I'm told. He even gave me the fruits of the spirit so I can't be confused or tricked. If the act is not one of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness or self control... then that's not God doing the compelling. I don't know why I wrote all that. You asked for thoughts... you got thoughts. 😂 I pray Bill Gates seeks forgiveness from Our Father and seeks to serve His Will for the good of mankind. We can help by not tasking mere mortals with the problems of God.

I think people fail to realize how utterly difficult and ferocious life can be, therefore there must be some outside force causing these things to happen. Chances are no one gives a s*** what you're doing including the government. We're simply just not that important to have a conspiracy somehow guiding our outcomes.

If we are seeking YAHUAH on His wisdom and guidance through all of this He will show us what to do and how to do it. If we are earnestly seeking Him! He will also reveal truths to us and deeds being done in the dark He will reveal. He says in His Word. Obedience to His Torah will bring His blessing over everything we set our hands to.
