ASMR | N64 Controller Sounds [No Talking]

Only controller sounds, nothing else. Maybe a frustrated exhale or two, because Super Mario 64 is not cool sometimes. but mainly controller sounds, using an N64 controller with a steel stick and a steel bowl. this was filmed in a cave with a box of scraps. I think the hori sounds better for asmr purposes but i wanted to give this standard one a shot and see what you guys think.

What is ASMR and WHY?!
From Wikipedia -- Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
From me -- Basically, these videos help people relax or even fall asleep. There are plenty of different ways to induce ASMR using either auditory or visual stimuli, but most you will experience on this channel is auditory. The community is huge and amazing and you should explore the vastness of what it has to offer and find out what triggers work for you!

What would you recommend a GameCube or n64 or both because I’m collecting

Tough one, but I'd have to say it depends on the nostalgia you feel towards the system. Did you grow up with one more than the other? If there's no nostalgic attachment, they each have their own amazing games and it comes down to which you'd prefer to play. Besides speedrunning sm64 I've spent equal time with each system.

What is that joystick you have and how did you get the joystick to be so tight?

It's a "prestige stick", which I was lucky enough to get before they stopped being produced, I have like 1 out of 50 that were made or something like that. I believe Binny could possible be making a similar stick under the name "BrewStix64", no idea if that's still a thing.. there was also a business called "Steel Sticks 64", who made the first steel modules. You can still buy caps and buttons from him I think. There are other projects out there working on other things, they are tough to get, you need to be vigilant, follow Twitter accounts and set alerts for when they post, etc. Good luck.

@@ASMR64 For some reason its not letting me reply on my main account but: I was thinking of either trying to get the steel bowl or a hori mini pad, what do you think would be the best? Would I have to potentially wait for too long for the steel bowl and even if I wait it might not be a guarantee that I'll get one?

Absolutely get the hori pad mini. If you're using it for sm64 you will love it. Also OMG I'm so sorry I didn't see this reply until now. For some reason UA-cam doesn't alert me of replies to my replies.
