so if you have already watch the video here's a short list of steps: - 3:18 STROKE - 5:10 MERGE - 5:50 DISPLACE - from 9:40 textures btw GREAT content, thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this video. The displacement map is really SO key. I used these steps on a graphic with a transparent background (printing for t-shirt) and it came out great.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! It's great to see designers like you give so much valuable content to the community. This has been extremely helpful for stepping up my projects :)
Displacement values on horizontal and vertical scales will affect the strength of the "effect" in the layer. So if you have small pt. text, for example, a low value on both will work when applying the displacement. 🤟❤
Honestly one of the best tutorials I've watched on this. I've always run into problems/not gotten it how I wanted or how the video made it look, but this one is perfect! I'm so happy!
I can't thank you enough for this amazing tutorial! It is such an interesting one! Keep on with this kind of great work! Kind regards from a photocopy art lover!
Man this is by far the best and simplest ink bleed tutorial out there! A few tips and i just made an awesome poster. Love your design style as well, that dystopian style is looking awesome. I do have a question though. I was using these textures at almost minimum and the effect it made was still too much or too exaggerated, is this due to the size of my canvas?? I was using like a 1400x1600 pixel canvas.
thanks for this! it seems like you're talented and have some good insight. one request for future tutorials: please stop zooming in and out on your canvas unnecessarily while you're talking, it's super distracting
Great video!! Looking forward to seeing more of them. Do you create the images on your designs yourself or do you find them online? And if you find them online, where are you searching? Keep it up man!
I have a very basic question! The first step was adding a stroke to the visual, but how were you able to do that? Was it a vector? PNG image? Thanks for this tutorial! 👍🏾
Hey man! Loved the tutorial, quick question. The stamp effect seems to automatically make the design black and white, what if we were wanting to blend on a background that was coloured?
What I usually do is select the black and put that another background or put the background layer on top of the end result stamp layer and set the blending mode on that background layer to lighten or multiply
so if you have already watch the video here's a short list of steps:
- 3:18 STROKE

I've never tried this "displace" filter. Now that I understand how it works, it's a pretty neat effect!
Thanks!
Of course!! 🤞🏽
most of the tutorials available online are very simplified and repetitive in style, nice to see something different :)
1- Add stroke
2- Displace with the psd file
3- Filter gallery / Stamp
4- Photocopy overlay layers
5- Pixelate / Cristalize
6- Filter gallery / Photocopy
7- Blur
Thank you soo much for this tutorial! designers who share their tricks go to heaven )))
omg bro ive literally fallen in love with that intro im watching it again n again omg its insaneeee!!

This one and many others were 3D rendered! When I use images I usually resort to pinterest or just google depending on what I need.
I have a very basic question! The first step was adding a stroke to the visual, but how were you able to do that? Was it a vector? PNG image?
