This is how you end a series. Resolution that is built on the show itself and its backstory but that doesn't magically fix things. Monk isn't cured. He still has his problems. But he's in control now... and he's HAPPY. He's found a way to cope and dare I say thrive.

Still watching the series repeatedly. So much in love with all the characters. My favourite is randy disher. This song makes me cry everytime I listen. It has so much moving power in it.

The Video is really a Tribute to Mr. Monk, Tony Shalhoub, Traylor Howard, and Bitty Schram, Stellina Rusich and the whole Cast. Tony Shalhoub, Traylor Howard, Bitty Schram, Stellina Rusich are so incredibly together and a big Tribute to the German synchronously Speaker they make a very good Job. At the end, Randy Newman you are a Legend with a beautiful Voice you can write beautiful songs.

Here is my personal story with "Mr. Monk":
I had never seen a single episode until I spent my summer holidays in a very small hotel at the Baltic Sea many years ago. Zapping through the programme I eventually saw one of the early (often repeated) episodes and after that I loved it!
Again many years later the final episode was on German TV. During the last commercial break I went on the street to smoke a cigarette, where I happened to meet my neighbour to talk (and smoke). Returning to my flat the ending was through for a long time; I had missed the final of the final episode...
When I told this a former colleague, she gave the DVD of the final season as a birthday present to me; now I'm able to watch it as often as I like...
And each and every time I watch these last minutes of the last episode, it brings a few tears in my eyes! On the one hand side something (that I really loved and I was very familiar with) comes to an end, on the other side there starts something very hopeful new - and that's important: Not ignoring or forgetting the past, but continuing it in an new and counselling way!
Still waiting for the second part to happen in my life too... 🥴

My aunt loved this show, tomorrow im going to attend her memorial service she passed away from pancreatic cancer in Dec 2023, this morning early i found the final episode on TV and thought how ironic it was on the day before her memorial service RIP Aunt Twila ❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
