Really nice job with these - yes, 1/12 scale should make it easier! 😅 I'll have to get some of those thinners. Also, good that you had already put it onto the wheel - I once painted whitewalls onto some tyres and then as soon as I put them onto the wheels, the paint cracked and fell off.
In all my years doing this chorebIve always used Tamiya flat white. But last year I changed to Vallejo Ivory. Paint consistency is everything. And always go back to front so you dont drag you hand over you work. Then Practice, Practice, Practice.
Great technique, I will give it a shot.
Thank you for showing me this. I'm new just started the start of the year so still learning. Thank you again
Thanks bud, we are all still learning I think. Don’t think I will ever stop.
Your right there

That's the 'answer' I was looking for, lol! I've just started building a 1/20 scale 6 wheeled Tyrrell. I'd better start finding my 'zen'. 😬

As with all things in life. Practice is everything.
I always thought people use decals here! Thats a surprise.
I have found this a good method where the lettering is embossed 👍
How in the world is acyillc paint thinner flammable when the paint is water-based? What am I missing? I use testors paints.
Alcohol based
