I don’t know why everyone is so confused over this episode. My aunt had a baby boy she never told anyone about. She got pregnant at 16, and ran away for 9 months and then came back like nothing happened. In that time she had the baby and gave it up for adoption.
Nobody knew until he turned 18 and came looking for his mother. This was in the 1950s and it was 1970s when he came back. It’s not that far of a stretch.
And as far as whether she knew she was pregnant or not; the point of the show was implying she kept it a secret all these years. Not that she didn’t remember. Women have secrets too. I’ve seen so many crime dramas involving women who abandon their kids. Sometimes they just leave them in the forest or in a trash can.

Who would have had that information prior?! Very peculiar. And crazy that it would have been possible for Louise to have had the girl when George was away in Korea. Well, here is a scenario: What if Louise had a friend/enemy (frienemy) back then who knew all her personal info, and this friend ended up getting pregnant by this Wilson guy. She hides the pregnancy, has the baby, and then gives the child up for adoption, under a different name, so no one is the wiser. If the child ever came looking for her birth mother, Louise would be listed on the adoption papers.Sounds like the perfect coverup.

I am sorry for your experience but mine is nothing like that. But if you don't like your family circumstances you can create a new family with people who bring positive things to your life. It doesn't mean you don't love them. It just means you love you and your sanity more.

I don't want to hear a damn thing about how people back then have more morals and values, when almost every other marriage story I hear about was somebody cheating on somebody, somebody having a love child on somebody, people having whole double lives, and people being anything but faithful or respectful to each other back then. There may have been some honorable situations, but they seem to be rather few and far between. At least nowadays, people are more honest about their intentions, and don't try to mask them behind sham marriages and in-the-closet, dl, secret lifestyles.
