- This is believed as an unfinished song made by Porter Robinson during or before his 'Worlds' era (2014). I'm not really sure whether true or not, because indeed it sounds different than his style. Even though they are only instrumental, the chords were arranged beautifully and calm me down whenever i feel depressed, lonely, or surviving through tough times :)

Kinda sounds like Song For You and A Sound for Lonely People combined, and I love that. I’ve known the latter since late 2022, maybe Sept. or October, and still think it’s one of my fav. unreleased songs of his 💙

I remember first listening to this mix on soundcloud 3 years. I remember looking at a sunset while playing it during a car ride home. This song will always be within my soul.

Porter Robinson is able to so vividly key emotion throughout this song. The sense of just sort of being, drifting, when there's a subtle shift. In a sudden spark, the spirit is ignited and takes off with inspiration on a manic flight. There's a final burst before the feeling starts to flutter out. As the drifting sensation emerges again there's quiet or solemn reflection on what all happened during that time. - that was my perception (or projection) as I listened, anyway.
Honestly it feels like a crime that this song isn't widely released, such a beautiful song

This kinda fits the style of Nurture and everything after it. Porters new music is so good, maybe TOO damn good. Packing so much meaning into a song with a universally understood sound. I’m happy to see his songs get into DDR, he sure as hell deserves it.

I loved it that you guys completed the unfinished Song For You, man I'm really thankful to you guys for that.. Cause it always pissed me off whenever I heard it and the drop comes and it would suddenly end quickly.. But I don't get why y'all put A Sound For Lonely People after it.. 😅

enough of the beliefs and guesses, WHO is (are) the artist(s)? If it's not Robinson, they should publish more, if it IS Robinson, take credit! Great song. I try to listen to it 5x/day.
Listening to the build up for this song, it sounds ALOT like Porter and not in a copycat way. It's legitimately so good that I don't think it's just some random person. It's gotta be the legend himself

I know im late but he uses a plugin called serum. You get many tutorials to recreate the synth in serum.

When I first heard Shelter, I was blown away, it led me to overthink and it's just an amazing creation, but after that I tried to check out Worlds, and I didn't understand that music, I was hoping more Shelter kinda stuff, but after I understood it with the help of a Porter Fan, now I feel it's the album of the century.. And tbh, the middle part is what makes me feel so good..
His motto was always to create something which isn't just limited to music, but he wanted to create something which would move people, more than music.. and I think he succeeded big time..
Yes his fanbase isn't that much, if you compare to the most popular artists, but the fanbase that he has is so so strong and are grateful to Porter for creating those songs, that I think even if Porter comes on to us the other day, wanting out souls, we will happily trade it to him..

I'm pretty sure it is porter's song. There's a picture of a project file he posted a long time ago and the midi matches this song.
Turns out part of this was in Hollowheart, Porter's unreleased track from 10 year's ago (out now)
