I think my favorite thing about this movie (and there are a lot to choose from) is that the reward for the princess wasn't a prince, it was the respect of her people and self-confidence.
The "This is not who you are" sequence, where TeKa is hurtling toward Moana and Moana is walking bravely, with the sea whirling and the wind blowing gets me every time. So strong.

1. That god you were referring to, Viki, was called Sultur in Thor 3: Ragnarok.

Moana is an amazing animated, action-packed movie with realistically fast-moving water in an ocean adventure story. Most importantly, Moana is also about love for and commitment to family, friends, and community. A significant theme is about social responsibility. Moana is a good role model for young people.
My favorite song from Moana is “How Far I’ll Go” Reprise and “This Is Not Who Are”, what your guy’s favorite song.

Idk if you guys noticed but the voice for Maui is the rock/Dwayne Johnson
You guys should react to "Fantasia 2000." A- it's a fun Disney property. B- there is a sequence near the end that is very reminiscent of the bit at the end of this film; no doubt the animators had that 2000 sequence in mind when they animated this in 2016.

Rachel House reprised her role in the Māori version of Moana, and took over the direction of the dubbing. In many European countries, the name of the titular character, Moana, was changed to Vaiana due to a trademark conflict. The film was released in those countries to bear the alternative name in the title.

Fun fact : Cerise Calixte, her french voice is her carbon copy and also the french voice of Halle Bailey in " The little mermaid "
It's a great film with stunning computer animation and some minor hand-drawn animation. Directed by John Musker and Ron Clemments, the guys who directed The Great Mouse Detective in 1986, The Little Mermaid in 1989, Aladdin in 1992, Hercules in 1997, Treasure Planet in 2002, and The Princess and the Frog in 2009.
To be honest, it feels like the last good fully-animated feature film from Disney - the last good half animated half live-action film from Disney being Mary Poppins Returns in 2018.
I have to disagree with you, I think Encanto is the best Disney movie ever. It's been a bit of a mixed bag lately, but then again, hasn't it always?

Moana is still one of my favorite animated movies ever. It’s so amazingly beautiful. The Kakamora scene was a homage to Mad Max Fury Road

Vaiana's name is supposed to be Moana but they changed it for the EU version to Vaiana because copyright.

Huh? No it’s not. Voice wise the rock is Maui and Maui was alone on an island for so long even before Moana was born
