- The extended and slowed down version of Camille Saint-Saëns' "The Swan" from "The Carnival of the Animals", a suite in fourteen movements written in 1886. I've been obsessed with this song for so long 😩
L
it's really nice to hear on a rainy day, sky all gray, nothing in mind, and body slowly numbing from all pain. But then ray of light shines, either phisical or mentally and you notice that all around you is... depressing/beautiful
yess. me too
*PIECE*
Me too
Classical music makes me feel such an unexplainable way- I can't tell if I'm sad, happy, longing, nostalgic, any sort of feeling. But that to me is kind of beautiful
CLASSICAL MUSIC IS JUST SO SPIRITUAL LIKE OMG I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAYYY
Exactly..which makes me question and wonder and more..so many times i just numb myself with pop or techno...cause i dnt knkw how to deal with it
ik same ting with dark academia
It makes you, YOU, devoid of any external identity! We are all but reverberation on this vast instrument of time, space and causation. For some time, we all quiver like the strings of a violin. Classical music, a beautiful painting, a sunset, a smil, anything that tunes us to the real nature would take away the identities we use to clothe our true self. 🙏🏾🇮🇳🐢🐛🌻🍄
@@A_QuestioningSoul you have said the whole truth.
This is the perfect music when you can't sleep XD
Imagine your life is a wisp in the wind and, you’re finally going to be able to be happy in heaven because earth was just too much for you.
If only...
This is so true what you say...except to remember that " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"...then comes heaven .
And that Christ is my Savior from this world of sin in me and through Him is this wisps only hope for that heaven.
Yes.
I have been looking for this song for over 20 years now. I used to work at theme parks and acquired the music that they play as you walked around Disney World and it transitions and fades to other music as you walk to different areas. I lost my computer due to poor choices at a low point in my life and lost all of my music. I knew that this was also in Beauty and the Beast, but I still couldn't find it beyond the small clip in the movie.
Right now, my uncle is in hospice and actively dying in the other room. I heard it on the local classical station as "Carnival of the Animals." The station has been the soundtrack to my uncle's end days. I'm just hearing this version now and the story of the swan dying and everything is sending me for a headspin. Sending tons of love to anybody reading this.
❤😢
🙌💖🙌If you read this, doesn't matter where you are right now on this planet, I wish you a wonderful night and a happy peaceful life where all your dreams become true. Wishing you this from Colorado 🙌💖🙌
Thank you, Colorado. From California.❤
Muchas Gracias ❤
Muchas gracias.❤❤❤
Thanks, from Scotland, my feelings.

Sometimes I think being alone is sufficient but in reality, I just want to feel with someone.
same
I’m in my seventies and when I was growing up I used to listen to my Dad playing this on the piano, on Sunday nights a family friend who played the violin would come for a Musical evening and this was always my favourite piece. I miss those evenings.
Heavenly melody. The hand of God touched the composer.
I am absolutely in LOVE with classical music. It’s so beautiful. It sometimes reminds me of all the good times in my past. Classical music really is heartwarming and inspiring. One of my favorite classical artists is Saint Saens!
If I can’t sleep I’d play this, volume just below halfway, put my phone under my pillow, listen, and reminiscence memories or just think...
Don't put your phone under your pillow please. Fire and EMF danger!
It’s really calming but it makes me sad, I’m not sure why
same!! I feel the need to cry cause it just brings my emotions that have been hidden for so long due to all the stress and constant anxiety.
Maybe it reminds you of a reality that you have never been to, yet you are so homesick
I feel the same way about the song Feed the Birds in the musical Mary Poppins... I cry every time I hear it...since a girl.
This beautiful music seems to move stuck emotion in the body...allow the feeling to be there & ask it what it wants to tell you! You may be amazed at what comes up & then dissipates or dissolves! It is a great way to heal trauma! ♥️

Because this composition is about dying swan.
Beautiful. Graceful. Old. Silent.
Even in the brink of death, the swan stayed silent.
💔
I love music
I love music too 😔🤌
I love music♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
This feels like the moment when you are running through the castle grounds, wearing a beautiful gown, being soaked in rain. Running with that one person that you know will love you forever. This music feels so familiar it's absolutely breathtaking. It is so divine yet so sad. I can feel the emotion in my heart, and it absolutely lovely. I am obsessed.
✨☺
I feel that without the sadness! It’s hauntingly beautiful!
que emoción siento en mi corazón también
amazing way of describing it, this genuinely eases my mind to read. c:
It's because it's in the pinnacle moment of Beauty and the Beast and you just described that movie exactly, haha.
I was just in a car crash. This really helps pull me out when my mind is racing.
Are you okay?
I hope you have a great day
Wonderful that it’s helping you! It’s very peaceful, serene & lovely! It may help you to heal faster! Hope all is well with you! ♥️
Hope you are better now. Best wishes to you
Classical music is from God handed to men to love and enjoy. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this extended version, I believe now that I cannot go to sleep without listening to this sublime masterpiiece, it makes one dream ... - Ggd Bless Saint Saens, too, for the incredible Gomposer offered to the World.
This Music touch me deeply all moments I heard it
This song is a balm for the soul!
I want this played at my funeral. Most beautiful thing I have ever heard
x2
i may be a stranger, but on that day, my heart will be there.
I agree. I want it too
Saint-Saens was a genius. 😢
Listen to this every night 💤💤
This is the most beautiful music I have ever heard! It’s perfect anytime! 🌹🌿
I saw a young violinist playing this song on a street in Paris, and kept looking until I found it. Since then, I have been obsessed with listening to her because she is too beautiful! ❤
Imagine dancing with someone at the ball and this music is playing in the backround. At 2:12 you look into their eyes and you realise you've fallen for them
How romantic and sweet.😘
Legend says a swan sings when it is going to die. Well, if THIS is the swan's song, it is going to turn into an angel in heaven.
En “Cartas a un joven poeta” Rilque le explica aún joven discípulo suyo, que nunca olvide que en las cosas más importantes de la vida, estamos solos...., esta bellísima obra de Saint Saens , podría ser la compañía ideal para esos momentos
This has got to be the most moving piece of music I’ve heard in a long time.
beautiful music, and cover photo, gliding smoothly, elegance just like the swans
Back to when Music actually made u feel things and had a meaning
This literally like heart strings pulls each chord of mine till my tears can no longer hold. All my hidden pain and sadness is released like a quiet rainfall and once it finishes I am refreshed like a new day
The Dying Swan (originally The Swan) is a ballet choreographed by Mikhail Fokine in 1905 to Camille Saint-Saëns's cello solo Le Cygne from Le Carnaval des Animaux as a pièce d'occasion for the ballerina Anna Pavlova. The short ballet follows the last moments in the life of a swan - beautiful, sad & poignant. Like the rate of extinction Homo saps are perpetrating.
This is what falling in love sounds like i literally can’t 😭😭
Thank you so much for this video!! My son is 2 months old and he falls asleep only with this music 🙏🏻
This wonderful music……..just takes you there 🦢
There are some pieces of music that you just know without a doubt that the melody was sent down from the heavens to the willing and open mind and heart of the composer.
Comfort of the Swan is off the charts
Listening in stillness is a haven of peace.
This is such a lovely recording. The cello ( or whatever it may be) sounds as if it is in the distance which gives it a strange sort of eerie souding quality. It makes me feel tearful when I hear it. I've always had this thing about how sounds change when they come from a long way. I love the sound of thunder when it's in the distance. To be outside in the early hours and hear sounds that may have come from miles away be it be individual cars on the motorway, trains, or an industrial estate a long way away, they have such a lovely calming effect.
I really love that.
So lovely, so soothing.
yes finally found a 1 hour extended version of the swan, best moment 47:54
i love to listening to this music everyday❤❤❤❤❤ love it SM!!
Classical music expresses my heart’s joy and sorrow so thoroughly. I have listened to The Swan and wept because my sorrow was deep, and this music spoke to me of it in a way that allowed me to face it.
At an age of ten10 my grandma took me to opera, i have had my first beautiful and unforgettable experience of seeing live opera. It was playing the same wonderful music pies, "Swan Like " by great Tchaikovsky.
And it was played in Odessa great Opera teater, it's unforgettable moments in life. I'm so thankful🧚♀️
By Seattle Youth Symphony? REMARKABLY BEAUTIFUL! ♥️🌹🌿 Truly, one of the best & dreamiest! Also Love the Art Work by Willgard Krause! ♥️🌹🌿
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to those who celebrate it. ♥️🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿...
It sounds like finally finding your true happiness for yourself after all the hardships and problems you went thru, all these years of living life with no meaning and despite all the people who told you that you'll never achieve something in life. Finally truly laughing and smiling because you know that from now on your laughs and smiles will finally be true.
The Dying Swan, beautifully performed bij the legendary Anna Pavlova. I can see it when I close my eyes!
I'll see everyone when our dreams are reality, when the sky is allowed to dance with us, when we can feel all these emotions from music once again, till then have a wonderful day, a beautiful evening and a magical night.
It’s honestly so beautiful 😌
Agree..it's amazing hiw even without words or explanatiin we understand ita honesty.....😌
The only thing wrong with this video- is that it isn't long enough.
Beautiful..
Beautiful song, I listen to it every day.
this son is now my favorite thing lo listen before go to bed
I’ve been listening to this like every night while I sleep for the last 2 months ➖👄➖💤
always brings tears.
This music always reminds me of the ballet performance associated with it.A triumph of western civilization combining dance ,music and the artistry of the costumes and sets.
This classic melody It's so beautiful, but makes me cry so much. I dont know why. I wish I would have been born in another era. The era of this beautiful music.
So beautiful man i cant put this into words how much it moves me.
this song was not made for this world. imagine yourself in the woods walking and you suddenly see someone he takes you by the hand and you stares dancing the moon shinning so bright beside a lake and your shinning in the moon light. he pull you closer and your eyes start closing. he kiss you right there. you don't know him but he does know you.
And he leaves and never came back
Then this music will hit more harder
… Dos cisnes volando juntos y una voz que confirmaba: Once you both encarnate, it is done.
♾️ thanks 🙏
I would love to hear this beautiful song in 528hz or 432Hz.

My daughter danced to this at her high school graduation. So it brings back happy memories.
Congratulações!
I love to listen to this music every day, any time, as much as I like to listen to Maximo Spodek and Jackie Gleason music; they are truly beautiful, relaxing, almost magical.

Among the chattering guests at Versailles, between the silk and gossamer gowns and painted faces and delicate hands holding intoxicating liquids, weaving through the click click of the roulette wheel and the screeching laughter, there was a specter, dressed in a pale as moon dress. The ghost had no form. No eyes or face or hands to tell apart from the rest of it. But you could tell by the way it swept into room after candle-lit room that it was troubled. It was haunted, even. As beautiful as the shimmering moon ghost was, nobody seemed to notice its presence. Many of the party-goers might feel a chill enter the room, or a cold as death finger run its length up their spine. But they just shuddered and continued with their frivolous games. The specter by now, was getting more and more frantic. Rushing down the hallways and floating through walls with its silver dress trailing behind. It began to make low singing sounds too. Tremulous, pitiful notes that echoed through all the most private corners of the dazzling palace. Finally, it dashed through a doorframe out into the private gardens of the royal family. It stopped and stared at the lush botany before them. Smelled, as much as any specter can smell, the rich perfumes the flowers emanated. Slowly they began to float down the aisles of the moon drenched plants and flowers. It was a lovely sight. The stranger ran its hands through roses and peonies and Queen Anne’s lace and baby’s breath. It gazed into the somber eyes of the marble statues, and pondered its reflection in stone fountains. All the while being seduced by the wonderful perfumes and getting drunk on the stars above. For the first time in a long time, and as dead as they were, this shimmering specter found themselves feeling wholly and completely alive.
this is AMAZING! Have you ever thought about becoming an author?
Cette musique touche profondément mon âme et me fait pleurer tellement tellement. 😢😢😢
A masterpiece
It answers questions to the heart
