I have the whole M113 brand new engine assy, wonder how much you paid for the electrical parts for it to run.

Ecu is about €1400. I think . Got some parts for the fuse box. + Ignition amplifiers. Connectors. Let say around €€2k max

Im using a the "race" and yes same setup is possible. Just put a NA intake on the m113k blok and it is the same as NA 5.5. But with lower compression ratio. Offcourse some other internals. What do you mean what else is needed

That depends how much power you want to run. There are examples of people run 700-800hp on stock 55k Engine

Interested to see how this standalone unit works ,reminds me of the “hillbilly hammer” on @Bicylindrico channel , go check out what he’s done with his m113 it’s got a nasty set of cams & its carbureted ! Also how much would the m113 rods & cylinder head studs be $USD ? I’ll be removing my m113 engine from w163 ASAP . I’m originally only doing head gaskets & timing chain ….. But I’m also thinking about doing a complete rebuild while I have the opportunity with the motor out & it’s age/168k miles , it would be nice to outfit this m113 engine with bigger rods & rod bolts , cylinder head studs , maybe some cams & , bigger injectors / TB . Also some nice engine jewelry like a VRP billet crank pulley / billet water pump / idler pulleys & tensioners , to bad they don’t have Long Tube Headers for w163 .
Edit : that paint job on the intake & valve covers is stunning , almost make it look less “old” ha ! 👏

Thanks . Have a look on jmspeedshop.com. For pricing of the parts. I have the valve covers and intake powdercoated. I will have a look on the channel you mentioned . Thanks 👍

This is exactly the ECU i would like for my m113. An excellent choice!
I totally agree with you firing both plugs! The plugs are at either side of the combustion chamber. Im sure there would be a loss of performanace sparking one side only. Its essential to fire both, good man!
Regarding the timing, and one firing slightly before the other.... maybe.... but if this is true it'll be for emissions or something. Fire them both at the same time is much better odea than finding an ECU with 16 ignition outputs!!

Yes for sure 16 . Maybe motec

My turbo m113, only one sparkplug is firing in cylinder. No problems

I also have same ecu. I also use different coils.

@@opelgarage6945 I'm.sire it runs fine. But I'm also certain that there is more power in it if you fired both. It will burn the charge in around half the time. I appreciate you might not need more power with forged induction but there is definitely more power if you fire both plugs.
I will test it when I get mine. I have a rolling road I can test this and be certain.... in a few years when I get the m113 project going

Yeh. I think is better to use both. @@lozl
