The meeting in the office was amazing; I enjoy meeting the whole crew. That detailed walk around was amazing; what a beautiful plane. That cockpit looks amazing; what a big difference between now vs back in the day. The A220 is an amazing aircraft; I would love to fly on it one day. I did enjoy listening to and watching these great pilots. Awesome takeoff and landing that sounds amazing. A cloudy view, but still an amazing view to see outside these windows. I do enjoy seeing other planes during the taxi. Overall, I love it. Awesome video.

Built in Canada by Bombardier, most advanced airliner in the world, over 1000 orders for this plane so far, first flights were in 2016, great plane to fly on.
I look forward to flying Air Baltic and the new A220! The cockpit is SO quiet... unlike the 737, which is basically the same noisy shape from 1954!

The A220 cockpit really looks futuristic. But boy, is that autopilot-disconnect sound dominant 😁40:42 Would give me a heart attack each time. Anyways, smooth landing and great explanations!

@@lajulasse4332 enjoy the course and your new airplane. You are gonna love it. I wear a Bose a20 headset, XLR5 plug, which is powered by the airplane, so I may not be the best judge of noise, But in the headset it is very quiet.
You were supposed to know everything when you finished your type rating 😆😆😆

it's strange that airline pilots don't really seem to flare, the joystick didn't move back at all, but the plane does flare.
I can guarantee that the side stick (NOT JOYSTICK) you have to move to flare.....
C series.... The only time I flew on an A220 was with Air Baltic, never again. The passenger seating is beyond uncomfortable, Riga was lovely to visit, but the flight on this model... never again.

Capt Gerhard has explained in prior videos he is German, went to school in Great Britain and lives in Lithuania....he speaks multiple languages and has cross over accents!
Chief Pilot Gerhard Ramka is simply outstanding!!! His amazing high level of spoken english is admirable such as his good looking and preparation. Sharp brain, deep knoledge, wide experience make him a real star player!!!
