But by describing this product in such a detailed and honest way, you confirm,it is a decent product.
Got on today (to prepare for the hot nights ahead) already loving it. Its “super-quite” especially on 1-2 speed mode, and like you said Meaco, It oscillates around your body/room etc, so that when your body is nice and cool, a few seconds later it blows air to other parts of the room, so the fan isn’t “always in your face” (like traditional ones). Like I said, I’ve only had it today, 14th June 2022. But I’m already impressed; very impressed. I think i need to lie down now…! Thanks 👍

Great fan for indoor cycling - the airflow is very directional (unlike most fans), so you can blast a fairly powerful column of air directly at your torso to help keep your core body temperature down. I don't even have it at full blast, level 6 or 7 is enough for me and is very effective - prior to having the fan I was drenched after an hour of cycling. There is a magnet in the remote, so it can stick to the side of the bike (unless the frame is aluminum). Also very effective in the bedroom at night, on level 1 or 2 you can hardly hear it and its enough to make you feel cooler - also keeps the room from feeling muggy and helps get a good nights sleep.
this is probably the best bang for buck fan ive ever got to deal with this heatwave. thanks!

10 out 10 fan glad i got mine the cable draw is hard to open but the wind comeing out the fan is great going to get the dest top 1056 to 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊ive edited this review it really was a god dend with the hot weather we just had it keeped my room coolish its normally lije sitting in a oven and i slept like a baby were others i no coudnt an sweated all night. Best fan ever i now own the ped and desk top .

Just bought the fan few weeks ago and it’s okay especially the quietness of the fan but my only problem is l wished it go up more higher than it’s because l will love it to be more taller but unfortunately it’s not . Otherwise thanks to the maker of this great 👍 fan
Considering my bf bought me Meaco air conditioning unit last year summer which okay 👍 very powerful for British summer keeps the room colder very happy with it but my only concern it’s the air conditioning unit extension holes that’s Always coming off the unit and l wished l know how to solve the problem or wished they could have done a better holes extension unit and the pipe for the too low ti the ground because l struggled with this 2 things last year when l got the air conditioning unit last year . Wished they could do a video on that .
Very quiet fan. Fantastic to cool bedroom at night. Could do with a light on the remote so you can see the options without switching your main lights on

What`s the best way to cool at night while sleeping? Just point it at the ceiling while static?. I had it oscillating up and down and sideways together but it was waking me up with the draught.
That is very personal and you have to find what makes you comfortable. Personally I prefer the air to oscillate horizontally across me. I know others that prefer the air straight out them and someone else who likes to bounce it off the wall first.
How long is the cable to plug it in? So many fans have really short cables which makes them awkward to position in a room

Does the remote still work if something is blocking the base... or does the remote need sight of the base?
The receiver is on the base, so it would need sight of it.

Height wise it goes between 820 and 955mm.

Ana, thank you for your purchase. All fans move air around to make the air feel cooler, no fan in the world actually reduces the room temperature. Fans are designed to make you feel more comfortable. Hope this helps.
Hello, my Meaco pedestal fan doesn’t rotate left or right despite the vertical and horizontal arrows both being set on. Is there a solution to resolve this ?

This fan seems very similar to the Sefte 10" pedestal fan. Is one better than the other? This one is slightly cheaper. Thanks
Airflow and noise wise Sefte is marginally better, the 1056P is still astonishingly good. Sefte has more features and flexibility.

Is that as high as it goes?? It’s unlikely to hit me when lying in bed as my bed is quite high.

The MeacoFan 1056P is a pedestal air circulator which can be used at various adjustable heights. In order to adjust the height of the air circulator there is a release button on the back of the pedestal. The release button can lift the air circulator via the support bracket. The air circulator will click into place at the chosen height. To reduce the height, push down on the top of the air circulator.

Height wise it goes between 820 and 955mm. You don't want them to go too high otherwise they would topple.

I have another brand small oscillating fan that I absolutely love but this year ( July 2023) in Greece is murder! After reading reviews and watching these vids, I am sooooo ordering this one. Yes, it’s pricy for a fan ( €149) but I like that it has remote and has time settings and is on a stand. And it seems reviewers are very happy. I would like to know how long it is before they start having problems? The shop I will buy mine from is offering an extended 3-year warranty which makes me suspicious. Nowadays, everything is made of plastic and MADE not to last. That is my only concern. I don’t want to have to shell out another 149+ next year.
It should run for years and years, that is why retailers feel safe to offer the longer warranty. Thank you for your kind words about the fan.

These Meaco fans are not whisper quite brought mine from johnlewis mine has a whine on lower levels having trouble know getting exchange or refund because JL tells that’s normal don’t buy from johnlewis
It's not normal.
The fan is nice but the remote is awful. Was no need for such a cheap remote except to get maximum profit.
