They will walk with you around the store, learn about you, grab your clothes, private dressing room and then run around the store finding other items and sizes for you. It was wonderful and they refused my tip and said she couldn’t take it.
Glad I could help! And you definitely are dodging a bullet. They randomly charged my card last week for $95 and now nobody at DailyLook will reply to my emails. I'm going to have to dispute the charges and start that whole thing. Such a waste of my time.
I wouldn't keep anything. I worked in the fashion industry for over 25 years and these prices are outrageous! And their customer service is near criminal. Also a $40 styling fee is ridiculous to me at those price points. If you cant find a way to cancel your subscription get your bank involved. They are forcing people to stay stuck with them and that in itself is shady as heck. Love your blunt honesty always 🤗❤
Legally, I think if you followed their instructions for cancelling and they made a mistake, you are not obligated to pay the fee. Contact your card company and send them all back.

I just got my first and this will be my only daily look box. I requested just tops and loungewear I got one Lounge outfit it felt like a complimentary set of pajamas from maybe a spa but I liked the color but it was over $100 and I received 10 Topps / blouses and sweaters and every one of them was over $90 and there was brands that you can purchase retail in the stores I did an eBay and a thread up and a Poshmark and Google search and I found some of these pieces and they were nowhere near $90. I did receive one bizarre outdated looking sweater I liked the color and the texture it was very soft but very hot and itchy the 5 minutes I had it on I couldn't stop itching it was very low quality acrylic. They are extremely overpriced I kept the box and the ribbon LOL because the box is very sturdy and I can use it for something else
Also something else I noticed with their stuff a lot of the tags we're beat up they did not look like they came off of new clothes and I got stuff that had pet hair on it
Great video! I wish I watched this before I signed on. Spot on, exhaustive and very accurate review of this brand. The try on is the best part of this video. I too really like the clothes I’ve received from DL since Jan 2023, but that expired style credit is disappointing. The live chat is the best way to get assistance and they have actually been really helpful for me to that end. With that said, it is painfully obvious that I could save $$ by going back to Stitch Fix (which I would if they treated their stylists better).
I love this, I’m so glad you did this. I have the SAME feedback for them. Very annoying about being told which article of clothing to try on first and give feedback. Every bit of it I can relate to. They are so expensive. I didn’t even think about the clothes being older!
I love the screenshot from the app showing ways to wear it and it just had a picture of the front of the sweater and the back of the sweater. I guess it's acceptable to wear it both forwards and backwards!

What an eye opener with this box. I seriously was considering getting this one. But not now or ever! What a shame how they deceive us with their products and how old and marked up they are. If it was me I’d probably keep the blue sweater texture top or whatever that name of it was and I definitely would remove my credit card from that site. I had to do that same thing with planet fitness! I canceled in person and followed up in person a second time when I was charged after I canceled so I thought it over and took my card out of their account for me and eventually they stopped contacting me about updating my card for membership and it did stop. It’s sad that’s the only way I knew how to make it stop. It’s crazy how bad this subscription is for customers. I’m shocked. Thanks for the raw truth. You have no idea how really really close I came to joint this. Thank you thank you.

Agree! I was excited to try DL… but don’t think any of my feedback was taken into consideration. AND… I just got those exact same olive green pants in my preview.. though I’d asked for a very specific cut and fabric of cargo pants. I removed them from my order, and then looked for the pant I had requested, which was available on my size at a much lower price point. Hoping they come in my next, and more than likely, final box!

I have level 99 Olive cargo pants (bought four years ago!) for $129 which was a lot but I still love them and hold up- yes they are old and can get slightly used for 1/3 point. That’s disappointing…

I tried Daily Look once and never again. I have an cheap quality, black acrylic turtleneck somewhere in my closet for which I paid too much to recoup my styling fee. Since Trunk Club went defunct, FDF is the only service I participate in.
New subscriber! I like the blue sweater, but not at their inflated price. I think I would send everything back and challenge the $40 charge at my bank. It seems very sketchy that this company sends and charges you a box that you have cancelled! Good luck!
I live the honesty in your review. Also, I would get my card company involved in refusing to pay any future boxes from them. Give your card a heads up that they are not to deduct any more money from your account for this business. That's you've tried multiple times to get it deleted, and the company is refusing. Your bank or credit card company can make a note not to do an automatic withdrawal. Note time, date, and who you spoke with on the card and the subscription box. But if you are having difficulty getting this box canceled, when you do as many subscriptions as you have, I can't imagine the rest of us getting rid of them any easier. Plus the overpriced is ridiculous. I'd eat this styling fee and be done with the company. I definitely wouldn't give them more money when you already thought you had canceled to begin with. We did have to stop a subscription by contacting our card company once, only reason I'm giving that advice. It was the only way we could get them to truely cancel the subscription.
I'd call credit card company, cancel that charge by saying it was an unauthorized charge. Make sure it's credited back to your account and then send all the clothes back. You quit and they did an unauthorized charge. I did it with a subscription box before.
I did get a dress from them, loved it, and found the exact same thing, so I thought, for 1/2 the price. I ordered it for less and I got what I paid for, lower quality.
All the items may have been overpriced, but seriously, they looked so good on you. You said you had credits ( unless they ran out), I would definitely use them on these clothes. You have nothing to lose that is if you have credis.

Well they charged my card, a day or so later I got the preview (when I got the preview I checked my CC & found the charge), then I had 24 hours to make selections, and then the box arrived. So I'm trying to say, I didn't order the box, they just sent it and they wouldn't cancel it & give me my $40 back "because it was already processing" so I made the best of the situation.
I quit Dailylook for all of the reasons you mentioned. Plus, EVERY SINGLE TIME I do a financial transaction with them they screw it up somehow. And always in their favor. I found my best course of action is to contact the stylist, who then seems to be able to get customer service to actually move and rectify the problem. It's not fair to put that burden on the consumer. One thing that floors me is that they HAVE to know you've been giving them crummy reviews. Why wouldn't they be rushing to cancel your account?
I would dispute the charge then change the card on the site to something they can’t actually charge. Sounds like a horrible company that I would NEVER use. Thanks for the heads up!

Can't you call your bank to get info for them? Or tell your bank you tried to cancel on whatever date & they're still charging & sending you packages. They'll reverse the charge while they investigate. That will usually get the company to stop. At least in my experience.
I feel like if you have proof of cancellation with a screen shot or emails I would file a dispute with your credit card and get your $40 back and block them from future charges as they knowingly charged you without consent.
I wish I had watched this two weeks ago. I just got my first box. I was influenced on Instagram and thought the clothes looked quality. HOW DISAPPOINTING! WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP. You are all correct. In doing a google search, most of my items were marked up by at least $30 from retail but most were from a few seasons ago. Who is running this company?
I just received 3 tops from Daily look. I will never order from them again. One of the tops in particular, Bishop+Young long sleeve Blouse is unbelievably uncomfortable! It has gold stitching and feels like I'm being stabbed everywhere it touches my skin and it costs $55!! Never again! Take care.
How to make any suggestions for you because none of it is my style I’d say if you got something and had to pay the extra 40 just consider the value of the piece and then the rest was the entertainment fee of going through the box and creating a video
What a weird way to buy clothes 😮 just go to a shop or buy from the website of a shop that you like if that's tricky - then you'll know what quality you're getting and the sizing - buying clothes like this seems like a right palaver😅

Those prices are ridiculous. Send it all back and bombard them with cancelation emails and calls. Wonder what would happen if you refused the shipment? Guess as a last ditch effort, you could cancel the credit card they have for you.🤦
I believe they won't let you cancel subscription. They texted me. I texted STOP to unsubscribe. Got a text confirming that. The very next day, they text me again. I would not sign up for these overpriced items with $40 styling fee where they will keep charging my card no matter what.
There is nothing special in that box worth keeping for the outrageous prices. Cancel that subscription and call your bankcard and get them cancelled from recurring payments (styling fees)

Thanks for the honest review...as always! Yeah, do not like this sub at all...especially since they dont let you cancel...and their outfits are not great either and way overpriced. Btw, i was cringing when you placed your hand and your sleeve on top of the goo on the box...hope it didnt mess up the sleeve on your jacket...😆

Well they charged my card, a day or so later I got the preview (when I got the preview I checked my CC & found the charge), then I had 24 hours to make selections, and then the box arrived. So I'm trying to say, I didn't order the box, they just sent it and they wouldn't cancel it & give me my $40 back "because it was already processing" so I made the best of the situation.
I quit Dailylook for all of the reasons you mentioned. Plus, EVERY SINGLE TIME I do a financial transaction with them they screw it up somehow. And always in their favor. I found my best course of action is to contact the stylist, who then seems to be able to get customer service to actually move and rectify the problem. It's not fair to put that burden on the consumer.
One thing that floors me is that they HAVE to know you've been giving them crummy reviews. Why wouldn't they be rushing to cancel your account?
The blue sweater is pretty but each time you wear it you will be reminded of your bad experience with this box.
I would dispute the charge then change the card on the site to something they can’t actually charge. Sounds like a horrible company that I would NEVER use. Thanks for the heads up!

Please investigate how Shein manages to deliver those really low prices. I say this with gentleness, no malice.
Can't you call your bank to get info for them? Or tell your bank you tried to cancel on whatever date & they're still charging & sending you packages. They'll reverse the charge while they investigate. That will usually get the company to stop. At least in my experience.
I feel like if you have proof of cancellation with a screen shot or emails I would file a dispute with your credit card and get your $40 back and block them from future charges as they knowingly charged you without consent.

I wish I had watched this two weeks ago. I just got my first box. I was influenced on Instagram and thought the clothes looked quality. HOW DISAPPOINTING! WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP. You are all correct. In doing a google search, most of my items were marked up by at least $30 from retail but most were from a few seasons ago. Who is running this company?
I just received 3 tops from Daily look. I will never order from them again. One of the tops in particular, Bishop+Young long sleeve Blouse is unbelievably uncomfortable! It has gold stitching and feels like I'm being stabbed everywhere it touches my skin and it costs $55!! Never again! Take care.

I’d say if you got something and had to pay the extra 40 just consider the value of the piece and then the rest was the entertainment fee of going through the box and creating a video

What a weird way to buy clothes 😮 just go to a shop or buy from the website of a shop that you like if that's tricky - then you'll know what quality you're getting and the sizing - buying clothes like this seems like a right palaver😅

If you use paypal for this and it's an auto payment you can cancel the auto payment!
Those prices are ridiculous. Send it all back and bombard them with cancelation emails and calls. Wonder what would happen if you refused the shipment? Guess as a last ditch effort, you could cancel the credit card they have for you.🤦

I believe they won't let you cancel subscription. They texted me. I texted STOP to unsubscribe. Got a text confirming that. The very next day, they text me again. I would not sign up for these overpriced items with $40 styling fee where they will keep charging my card no matter what.

Since you already canceled, you should call your credit card and file a dispute. I would not pay the fee!

There is nothing special in that box worth keeping for the outrageous prices. Cancel that subscription and call your bankcard and get them cancelled from recurring payments (styling fees)
Send a Cease and Desist letter.

I don't like the prices at all - just looking at the clothes and hearing the price, it's just wrong.
