need a curtain over that window, the reverb on the voices is way too high and rtx can't fix that. Dan's mic sounds noticeably more wet with reverb than destiny's because he's a) talking louder so the voice reflects round the room back into mic more and b) his mic is facing towards the window so the mic is picking up more reflections

Brits don't sing in American English they just loose the finer details of vocalization when they sing. It actually takes effort to retain those so there are singers that do still sound "british" when they sing. But most won't go that extra mile. The result is a more neutral pronounciation that coincidentally sound more like AE but it actually is just getting rid of the intricacies of their speech.

The real reason why the accent does not or barely comes through in songs is because singing in a language significantly neutralizes the variance in speech patterns. You are singing vowels in a similar way whether you’re in North America or the UK. In other words all English singers are now starting at the same baseline, not their regional accents.
Yeah, German singers with thick German accents trip me out. Like when they sing they sound like any other singer. And then when they talk it's just "Ja dat was ah killa song"

Lmao I came here for the funny comments. I typically don’t watch Destiny but I’m subscribed because I want to see the change that he’s undergoing. Anyway, soon as I saw the title that is the ongoing joke that is Anus & Breach, I had to click on it. I’m still within the first few minutes of this video and curious to hear what I’m the world is going on between these two. I bet it’s something profoundly stupid. I guarantee it.
Anyway I originally wanted to respond to your comment to say, dude when I was growing up, I lived in a group home when I was very young and had two room mates. One of them was named Travis and the other was named Destiny. I as well as the other kids in the home would tease the ever loving fuck out of them. I used to call Travis Dr Rat Piss because he would piss the fucking bed consistently on a daily basis sometimes consecutively throughout the night. Shit was so bad it used to annoy me and the people that worked there because we would run through bedsheets. They would have to do multiple loads a night 🤣 and Destiny would get teased because he had a girls name.
We’d call him a little bitch or Destiny’s child like the 1990s group 😂. One time he pissed me off after ripping up some artwork of mine so I beat the shit out of him. Of course I got chastised for it by the counselors, but I wasn’t done with him. Later that same night, I decided to show him how much that artwork meant to me by taking his lamp he used for a nightlight because he was afraid of the dark, grab it by the base and burn his forehead with the super heated lightbulb. 💡 I got in trouble again of course after he woke up screaming and got banned from going to Ride Playland but I didn’t care.
