Usually when people have to hit high notes a good method is to raise your eyebrows or stand on your tiptoes. I'm not sure what the science behind it is but it always helps when i have to hit high notes.

Just took my daughter to this a few weeks ago. Jessica E. Sherman sang her dang heart out on this one (played Evan's mom). Everyone in the audience was in tears (along with all the other songs). If you can see this live, GO! It is so worth the money!!!

The singing was amazing, the beginning scene was just a little one note
They cut the mom's "you are the best thing to ever happen to me, Evan," and I am distraught over it
Connor Slipped Up During the Jared part, he was supposed to say “We need to write more emails showing he was getting worse”
But he said better instead of worse.
Hmmm...
But otherwise this is AMAZING. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

This was my favorite song when I saw the show in-person in 2019 mostly because of the choreography. The way the three of them circled Evan gave me chills. I’m glad I found something so similar on UA-cam.

The Heidi is... wow at singing, but her acting and her anger seemed so off, like she was trying a little too hard. Maybe she should try going with the flow and try fitting her feelings into her role, like shes actually genuinely angry because to me it sounds like shes just yelling but like.. not even angry yelling, just plain yelling. The same goes for everyone as well. There was such a major lack of emotion in their acting and it all just felt... blegh. ALSO THE JARED COULDNT SAY FUCK BUT HE SAID ASSHOLE? OMG LMAO.
Well, you can't compare these teenagers to professional actors and performers. They also got less time to practice then the professional production would have. I wouldn't be surprised if the early rehearsals of the professional production were similar to this. This comment started off with your opinion, but you slowly started just mocking them which I didn't appreciate.
