Surely another reason is that we as Christians also experience the Lord tangibly for ourselves by His Holy Spirit. He is very real to me in ways that are impossible to articulate in words.

I didn't. Everyone in my church did, they all claimed the lord "spoke to them". Despite being raised in the church my entire life (19 years at the time) I had never felt god "speak to me". Nobody could say what he sounded like. Nobody could say what words he used. And despite hearing his words, they couldn't tell you what he actually wanted. One would think that an all powerful god would be able to get his message across in more effective manor... but to nobodies massive surprise, he can't. Why? Because those feelings you get aren't god, it's just YOU.

@GNB if you look really into history you will find out that only 7% were religion wars(2% of that was not secular), so the rest was fought for money,power or women in which big majority did not believe in any deity, an atheists. What does it take to make a person believe? I believe that I can eat food. I say that because I have smelled food, touched it, seen it, tasted it. I have personally eaten food. it has appealed to my five sense. My experience is enough "evidence" to say that it is true that I can eat food. I dont look at science and theories if I could eat food or not. I just know it. "Taste and see that the Lord is Good; blessed is he who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8 Christians have seen and tasted that the Lord is good, we felt it so strongly to the point that if we deny him, its denying ourselves. God has helped us in our time of need, it the deepest and darkest problem we always have hope, and we are never alone. It is a beautiful relationship, like a son to his father.
One of the reason I think Christainity is true is the sheer amount of hate it gets, you would not waste time hating something you know isn't true and Jesus said he would be hated so he was right.

I love Jesus Christ and I believe that He is Son of God, because He is PERFECT in every way. He is God because He showed us the perfect love. He made everything to make sense for us. I just can't explain it but my love for Jesus Christ and God is my ground for believing in Christianity. My faith is my love for God. It's not like I force myself to believe, but I naturally believe because I'm in love. it's hard for unbelievers to understand but that's why I believe it to be true.

When you have a relationship with Him, you know that He is real and that He was sent to die for your sin so you can have a relationship with God. i am not a big fan of apologetics. you cant prove the existance of God or the bible - that is the point. to be honest the entire concept sounds very crazy. i am an extremely intelligent human being - almost perfect sat scores and ace anything i attempt and very logical and sane. for many years i was a huge atheist and totally against christianity especially. it is not until recently that i see my motivations for disliking it so much. but todays world is different. in the old days people didnt have access to information so those in power told them whatever would keep them under control. they especially used religion to control the masses. but now anyone can learn whatever they want via books and internet. many of us are not smart enough to put together an ikea bedroom set, yet we read the discoveries of great thinkers and scientists on subjects like evolution, and now all the sudden so many people think they know it all and are too "smart" to believe in God. i was that way. we all have limits to our knowledge and often its like that saying lost in the forest and cant see the trees or whatever. but there came a point in my atheist living where my knowledge and wits could not help me. i did the unthinkable. i tried praying to this God that i swore i didnt believe in. i tried reading His word. let me tell you - He showed up! im talking about real miracles, changes in my life, an opening of my eyes. for example i went from having liver cancer to having no trace of cancer in 2 weeks with no medical treatment. the doctors couldnt explain it. i have the paperwork, so that is just one of the many proofs of God in my life. but you dont need my proof and neither does God. He is a big God. now may not be your time but remember this post. if you ever get to a point where you dont know what to do, call on Him. He is real and He loves atheists just as much as christians. He will leave 99 of us to go help one of you figuratively speaking. dont rely on us christians to lead you to God as we are very imperfect and many christians still dont even understand that it is not a works based relationship with God but one based on love, grace and mercy so the last thing we should ever do is judge another person or think we are better. but when that time comes in your life when you need God, go to Him. be real with Him. read the bible. He doesny always give us what we want but often when we are at our lowest point, He knows we need to be restored and that we need hope, and He will show up in a tangible way. and to any christians on here speaking rudely to athiests and nonbelievers - remember there was a time when we all didnt believe. now that we know, that doesnt give us the right to judge others who are just like we were and could find Jesus andthey could enter heaven before us so respect them. the last shall be first - remember the parable of the workers who started late and got the same pay. someone could hate christians all their life and find Jesus at 90 two seconds before they die and be just as we are. God calls everyone and does not desire that one should perish without knowibg Him

Indeed for myself at a young age, the same historical question was a catalyst to keep studying the bible. Perplexing to think that these men, would testify over and over again that YeShua lived, died, rose to live again forever, was a stumblingblock to my unbelief. These men, most of them bluecollar types made no gain, were repeatedly rejected and punished by their own community, yet persisted unto death. The word day is mentioned in the Quran 365 times. Remember this was 1,400 years ago and people didnt know their were 365 days. That being said, I assume you refer to more of the well known ones like walking on water, raising from the dead etc. You say that every single naturalistic alternative is more likely than a supernatural explanation but let me ask you this, do you think just because something can be understood means that God did not do it? How do you know the Bible ISN'T true? Why do you choose to live in faith that the universe was created from nothing? How do you know it was? You DON'T. Everyone must live in faith of something, and the Bible says faith is the essence of things HOPED for. Anyone who's wise will choose to live in hope of goodness and justice that can only be enforced by God. Why would anyone choose to live without hope in justice by means of a loving God? It's entirely self defeating, unless of course that person doesn't love justice or truth that much, in which case living without hope for such things won't bother him that much because that person is evil. This is how I KNOW God is real and the Bible is true -- because a person who loves truth, righteousness, fairness, mercy, justice, and even love itself can only be happy if they have hope for these things, and without God there is NO hope for these things, and the only God in any religion that satisfies the desire for these things is the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And what a coincidence that the only God in any religion that satisfies the desire for these things also belongs to the religion that has the most evidence across multiple different fields of study to support its being true.

Ok, lets work on the premise that everything in the bible is really true. Firstly so we agree Jesus lived and performed supernatural impossible miracles like raising people from the dead and feeding the five thousand. That he was crucified and raised himself from the dead, went to hell and came back to earth ... well that means he is God. He is Cleary not human. Victor Essien it seems to me kind of like he’s approaching it the way that Lee Strobel did in his book The Case for Christ which is a great book of you haven’t read it. I think another valuable argument is that of Dr Frank Tarek. One of the threads of his main argument goes along the lines of this: evolutionists and atheists even insist that there is a driving force in nature to make life, whether that be natural selection or God. If there is a bias towards life then there has to be a reason for life. Things don’t just happen with no catalyst. Especially the making of the most complex human brain. But it has to be God because if there were no God then the purpose of life would just be life itself, to survive and enjoy life. And that is circular logic and self-defeating. So if we as humans can obviously observe there is a bias towards life then we can deduct there is a purpose and therefore a purpose-giver.

For me the way i know God is true is because i feel his love. And if you don't feel God you are never going to understand God and believe in him. So i can't prove it because I feel it and not you. Christianity is not a religion but a relationschip with God. So if you don't want to accept his love you wil never feel it. If you have a relationship you feel the love of that person but you can't prove that the person really loves you because its only you who feels it. And even if i would be able to prove the existence of God there would be a lot of people who would not want to believe in God because our sinful nature wants to be its own God and not have somebody who reigns over them. But the way i see things is how could you choose the world over God because the world is so cruel. You may not agree with some things God says or does but i do not agree with tons of things the world says and does.
You do notice that christianity has relied on ignorant people since its beginnings to keep its power. Also, the Catholic Church has sold away sins to people, which would not be something that 'God' would want, would he? They have been corrupt, and the times when they have been at their weakest were at points where big scientific discoveries and advancements were made/proven, as well as when the Black Death occurred, which went against the church's belief that if you are a good Christian, then 'God' will be good to you, meaning he would not kill you with some plague, but it happened anyway.

I agree with his last, personal reason for believing in Jesus, but it is an aesthetic judgement. The interesting question deeper would then be, what would be the rational foundations for that aesthetic judgement about Christ? It even dares to suggest the dimensions of an ark that could hold every animal in the world, and that some random guy (with no experience might I add) could create it without any help whatsoever, and the progeny of this one man and the animals he took with him could magically enter every nook anc cranny of the world (even the US and Australia, despite being seperate land masses). Not to mention the Bible has been changed throughout history significantly, and some of it's authors (like Paul) aren't even reliable. Don't lie to us, the Bible has no evidence for its validity.

Also, why don't these arguments work for accounts from other religions? If Mohammad or a figure from the Vedic scriptures says something in their respective books, then why wouldn't we "assume their trustworthiness" as this man tells us to do for Paul?
Christianity is not religion. It's simply the Truth. And if you don't at least look at the evidence, in terms of apologetic material of all the founding documents, etc., then you're not doing the bare minimum this obvious truth cries out for. We got attestation to Jesus by not only His disciples, but also the disciples of His disciples, if you can believe that. The apostle John had disciples of his own, as did Paul. We've got ancient documents of Papias of Hierapolis (disciples of John) and of others. You see, it is not as though that we merely have the 6000+ ancient Greek manuscripts, 10000+ Latin, more thousands in Syriac and Coptic, etc.., we're also got nonbiblical sources attesting to the eyewitnesses that wrote the Gospels as well as the letters, that make up the New Testament. You've got to be open to all these pieces of evidence. I recommend to you J. Warner Wallace. He explains the evidence very well. Search him up here on youtube! God bless

And then, "millions of years of torrential rains created great oceans,” and “swirling in the waters of the oceans is a bubbling broth of complex chemicals. ...progress from a complex chemical soup to a living organism is very slow.”(Holt, Earth Sceince, 1994, p. 281-282). Take a long, hard look at what you have just read and tell me it isn't "hogwash". You expect me to believe I came from a rock, yet when I say we were created by God you say I'm a fool? "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God." (Psalm 14:1).
The event regarding Jacob is not a mystery... nor does it discredit the bible in anyway. Jacob, through obedience to the Lord, demonstrated his faith by placing the rods of many colors in front of the livestock. In turn for his faithfulness, God rewarded him with speckled and spotted cattle. Now of course you cannot demonstrate this miracle anymore then you can demonstrate evolution... But it takes far more faith to believe that it rained on the rocks for millions of years and a "simple cell" (a specimen far more complicated then the NASA space shuttle), could have come to life through naturalistic causes... It just aint gonna happen.
The miracle is immediately attributed to God because an animal will not produce variations in its offspring from impressions made on its imagination. Jacob used the rods in obedience to a special divine direction, without knowing any thing of their natural virtue (whether they helped scientifically or not). Be that as it may, your arguments do not discredit the bible, and they do not help your hopelessly flawed theory of evolution.

We do have faith but most faith is backed up by personal experiences, science or prophecy. The first 2 points are very straight forward, and backed by fact. For the 3rd point, all I am doing is asking people to realize the first 2 points. The point really didn't have a "hate filled tone" though "rage" might be accurate. I would use the word frustrated, and I am frustrated because of exactly what I said: Human progress is behind schedule.

All religions are fading, but not fast enough to save us from the stupid ideas (god writings and beliefs). Also I am not an atheist, I do have a mild form of spirituality, but no leader, no god. Additionally I see it as more a feeling, or emotion and not a well reasoned out belief. In regard to god there are no facts, no proof, no evidence, and with our huge long history exalting this sky man one would expect one or two crumbs, not jesus burnt into toast. If one has faith in god, that person cannot claim to be able to reason rationally, due to that persons belief in a god, an obviously man made idea, used as a giant con to get power and wealth from the believers. I again assert that once you have gathered enough knowledge, and pondered on life and living with your brain and senses such as they are, there comes a point where god becomes unnecessary, and just plain silly. All the aguments for him (always him most of the time, boo) all seen as weak, and invalid logically. Oh and you cannot undo it. Those who claim to have left god and found him again are just fooling themselves and the always gullible faithful others. I would put these "found god agains" in the same pile with the "I have been to heaven or hell and back agains". Harmless wackadoos. One more thing there is no such thing as a typical type of anything person wise, and normal means average in most ways. Stay away from the normals, they are boring ++. When you read either the bible or the koran cover to cover, with your faith colored glasses off and rational thought on, there is no other conclusion that is plausible. The only way I can see god being possible and keep the bible is to say, as the holy rollers often do, that the word, messages and or signs of god were interpreted by men of their times in a way to help god to share his "truth". To prove god does not exist would require visiting the spiritual realm, and finding nothing, or spiritual individuals, with no boss spirit. Since there is so far no evidence of such a place, or a way to get there, that is a tall order. Now if you believe then you have god the "holy ghost" hosting miracles in our physical realm, creating Earth, global, flood, parting the Red or Dead Sea, blasting Sodom and Gomorrah to dust. We have proven by the use of science and experimentation how the Earth formed, which is wildly different from god's bible account. Well you can interpret the made up hell out of that text, to help shore up bible science, which is weak and just sad I think. Now if the bible text could with little interpretive stretching line up well with modern day astrophysics, then we have a worthy prediction from the ancient past that could give us pause. Then invoking god the creator would have a bit more merit. Problem is the bible does not do that. The bible shows us a very mixed up account that does not show any scientific insight at all. The same thing happens with the other major miracles. The global flood, Noah and the Ark. Geo-science has discovered strong evidence for comet/asteroid strikes, but zero evidence of a global flood. The ark proves itself to be false as the maths make it impossible. Now if god had lent a hand building the ark out of miracle wood from heaven, then maybe such a giant wood ship could have floated for a year. Problem is that this extra magic claim was not made, and history has demonstrated that there is a size limit for wooden ships. Even if Noah and his kin were master carpenters, the too big boat would sink for sure. Here's Part II; Regarding his second bullet for question #1 - there are a plethora of populations in history which knew nothing of Christianity yet had a moral standard which they followed and a moral guide that was set. I believe that I can eat food. I say that because I have smelled food, touched it, seen it, tasted it. I have personally eaten food. it has appealed to my five sense. i am not a big fan of apologetics. you cant prove the existance of God or the bible - that is the point. to be honest the entire concept sounds very crazy. i am an extremely intelligent human being - almost perfect sat scores and ace anything i attempt and very logical and sane. for many years i was a huge atheist and totally against christianity especially. it is not until recently that i see my motivations for disliking it so much. but todays world is different. in the old days people didnt have access to information so those in power told them whatever would keep them under control. they especially used religion to control the masses. but now anyone can learn whatever they want via books and internet. many of us are not smart enough to put together an ikea bedroom set, yet we read the discoveries of great thinkers and scientists on subjects like evolution, and now all the sudden so many people think they know it all and are too "smart" to believe in God. i was that way. we all have limits to our knowledge and often its like that saying lost in the forest and cant see the trees or whatever. but there came a point in my atheist living where my knowledge and wits could not help me. i did the unthinkable. i tried praying to this God that i swore i didnt believe in. i tried reading His word. let me tell you - He showed up! im talking about real miracles, changes in my life, an opening of my eyes. for example i went from having liver cancer to having no trace of cancer in 2 weeks with no medical treatment. the doctors couldnt explain it. i have the paperwork, so that is just one of the many proofs of God in my life. but you dont need my proof and neither does God. He is a big God. now may not be your time but remember this post. if you ever get to a point where you dont know what to do, call on Him. He is real and He loves atheists just as much as christians. He will leave 99 of us to go help one of you figuratively speaking. dont rely on us christians to lead you to God as we are very imperfect and many christians still dont even understand that it is not a works based relationship with God but one based on love, grace and mercy so the last thing we should ever do is judge another person or think we are better. but when that time comes in your life when you need God, go to Him. be real with Him. read the bible. The way I understand it, the presuppositional argument can be used by any theistic religion (Judaism, Islam, Christianity). 3. The da Vinci code lie - the bible has been changed so many times that it is no accurate and the early christian community defied Christ including putting miracles in the bible that were originally not there. There are two arguments for this - The corrupt translations argument and the overzealous monk argument.
3.1. The corrupt translations argument
The bible has been translated so many times that it's no longer reliable, like when you play chinese whispers and as it has been translated so many times that the original message is lost. The only problem with this is the bible is not translations of translations, it's a translations from the original greek, hebrew and aramaic manuscripts, so this premise does not make senses.
3.2. The overzealous monk argument
Constantine calls together the Council of Nicaea and says to the monks you get 66 books and no more and had to leave out other books and then change those books to reflect that Jesus looks like the divine son of God.
However there are three problems with this theory:
Early on the biblical historical documents(books) was translated into syriac,coptic and latin, so now the monks need to steal or find 6000 copies or portions of manuscripts in the greek, syriac,coptic, latin and change the text without showing their inkwork
The early church fathers quoted extensively from the new testament in the writings, so much so that 95 - 98 percent of the new testament can be reproduced from just the their writings. So now the monks have to find all the early church fathers writing and change the text, don't show your inkwork, make sure the lies match what was said in manuscripts in the greek, syriac,coptic, latin, get those writings back without anybody finding out

Indeed for myself at a young age, the same historical question was a catalyst to keep studying the bible. Perplexing to think that these men, would testify over and over again that YeShua lived, died, rose to live again forever, was a stumblingblock to my unbelief. These men, most of them bluecollar types made no gain, were repeatedly rejected and punished by their own community, yet persisted unto death. How do you know the Bible ISN'T true? Why do you choose to live in faith that the universe was created from nothing? How do you know it was? You DON'T. Everyone must live in faith of something, and the Bible says faith is the essence of things HOPED for. Anyone who's wise will choose to live in hope of goodness and justice that can only be enforced by God. Why would anyone choose to live without hope in justice by means of a loving God? It's entirely self defeating, unless of course that person doesn't love justice or truth that much, in which case living without hope for such things won't bother him that much because that person is evil.
This is how I KNOW God is real and the Bible is true -- because a person who loves truth, righteousness, fairness, mercy, justice, and even love itself can only be happy if they have hope for these things, and without God there is NO hope for these things, and the only God in any religion that satisfies the desire for these things is the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And what a coincidence that the only God in any religion that satisfies the desire for these things also belongs to the religion that has the most evidence across multiple different fields of study to support its being true.

Victor Essien it seems to me kind of like he’s approaching it the way that Lee Strobel did in his book The Case for Christ which is a great book of you haven’t read it. I think another valuable argument is that of Dr Frank Tarek. One of the threads of his main argument goes along the lines of this: evolutionists and atheists even insist that there is a driving force in nature to make life, whether that be natural selection or God. If there is a bias towards life then there has to be a reason for life. Things don’t just happen with no catalyst. Especially the making of the most complex human brain. But it has to be God because if there were no God then the purpose of life would just be life itself, to survive and enjoy life. And that is circular logic and self-defeating. So if we as humans can obviously observe there is a bias towards life then we can deduct there is a purpose and therefore a purpose-giver.
My goodness. I think we may be doomed as a species because of this type of thinking - or lack thereof.

For me the way i know God is true is because i feel his love. And if you don't feel God you are never going to understand God and believe in him. So i can't prove it because I feel it and not you. Christianity is not a religion but a relationschip with God. So if you don't want to accept his love you wil never feel it. If you have a relationship you feel the love of that person but you can't prove that the person really loves you because its only you who feels it. And even if i would be able to prove the existence of God there would be a lot of people who would not want to believe in God because our sinful nature wants to be its own God and not have somebody who reigns over them. But the way i see things is how could you choose the world over God because the world is so cruel. You may not agree with some things God says or does but i do not agree with tons of things the world says and does.
You do notice that christianity has relied on ignorant people since its beginnings to keep its power. Also, the Catholic Church has sold away sins to people, which would not be something that 'God' would want, would he? They have been corrupt, and the times when they have been at their weakest were at points where big scientific discoveries and advancements were made/proven, as well as when the Black Death occurred, which went against the church's belief that if you are a good Christian, then 'God' will be good to you, meaning he would not kill you with some plague, but it happened anyway.

The interesting question deeper would then be, what would be the rational foundations for that aesthetic judgement about Christ? The Bible says that a global flood engulfed the world, 15 cubits taller than mount everest, in roughly 2000 BC. It even dares to suggest the dimensions of an ark that could hold every animal in the world, and that some random guy (with no experience might I add) could create it without any help whatsoever, and the progeny of this one man and the animals he took with him could magically enter every nook anc cranny of the world (even the US and Australia, despite being seperate land masses).
Not to mention the Bible has been changed throughout history significantly, and some of it's authors (like Paul) aren't even reliable.
Don't lie to us, the Bible has no evidence for its validity.

Also, why don't these arguments work for accounts from other religions? If Mohammad or a figure from the Vedic scriptures says something in their respective books, then why wouldn't we "assume their trustworthiness" as this man tells us to do for Paul?

But as for evidences, we got many, like I've mentioned before.
We got attestation to Jesus by not only His disciples, but also the disciples of His disciples, if you can believe that.
The apostle John had disciples of his own, as did Paul. We've got ancient documents of Papias of Hierapolis (disciples of John) and of others.
You see, it is not as though that we merely have the 6000+ ancient Greek manuscripts,
10000+ Latin, more thousands in Syriac and Coptic, etc..,
we're also got nonbiblical sources attesting to the eyewitnesses that wrote the Gospels as well as the letters, that make up the New Testament.
You've got to be open to all these pieces of evidence.

The event regarding Jacob is not a mystery... nor does it discredit the bible in anyway. Jacob, through obedience to the Lord, demonstrated his faith by placing the rods of many colors in front of the livestock. In turn for his faithfulness, God rewarded him with speckled and spotted cattle. Now of course you cannot demonstrate this miracle anymore then you can demonstrate evolution... But it takes far more faith to believe that it rained on the rocks for millions of years and a "simple cell" (a specimen far more complicated then the NASA space shuttle), could have come to life through naturalistic causes... It just aint gonna happen.
The miracle is immediately attributed to God because an animal will not produce variations in its offspring from impressions made on its imagination. Jacob used the rods in obedience to a special divine direction, without knowing any thing of their natural virtue (whether they helped scientifically or not). Be that as it may, your arguments do not discredit the bible, and they do not help your hopelessly flawed theory of evolution.
Friend, I have nothing to prove to you, and I assumed you believed in evolution because the only alternative is that there is a God... Judging from our dialague, it's obvious you do not believe the latter. I have complete faith in God's word and the promise made by Him to preserve it perfectly. We do have faith but most faith is backed up by personal experiences, science or prophecy. The first 2 points are very straight forward, and backed by fact.

So Caesar did not leave behind some DNA and a video blog, however the main point I was after was he has multiple texts, from various sources, in his time, writing of him, and good inference at least that he wrote things down that have survived till today. That is not circular reasoning. Jesus has no various sources thing going on. Many claim he does, but there is so little, and most of that outside the bible is a couple of words interpreted to be referring to christ, weak, very weak.
All religions are fading, but not fast enough to save us from the stupid ideas (god writings and beliefs). Also I am not an atheist, I do have a mild form of spirituality, but no leader, no god. Additionally I see it as more a feeling, or emotion and not a well reasoned out belief.
In regard to god there are no facts, no proof, no evidence, and with our huge long history exalting this sky man one would expect one or two crumbs, not jesus burnt into toast. If one has faith in god, that person cannot claim to be able to reason rationally, due to that persons belief in a god, an obviously man made idea, used as a giant con to get power and wealth from the believers. I again assert that once you have gathered enough knowledge, and pondered on life and living with your brain and senses such as they are, there comes a point where god becomes unnecessary, and just plain silly. All the aguments for him (always him most of the time, boo) all seen as weak, and invalid logically. Oh and you cannot undo it. Those who claim to have left god and found him again are just fooling themselves and the always gullible faithful others.
I would put these "found god agains" in the same pile with the "I have been to heaven or hell and back agains". Harmless wackadoos. One more thing there is no such thing as a typical type of anything person wise, and normal means average in most ways. Stay away from the normals, they are boring ++.
When you read either the bible or the koran cover to cover, with your faith colored glasses off and rational thought on, there is no other conclusion that is plausible. The only way I can see god being possible and keep the bible is to say, as the holy rollers often do, that the word, messages and or signs of god were interpreted by men of their times in a way to help god to share his "truth".
To prove god does not exist would require visiting the spiritual realm, and finding nothing, or spiritual individuals, with no boss spirit. Since there is so far no evidence of such a place, or a way to get there, that is a tall order. Now if you believe then you have god the "holy ghost" hosting miracles in our physical realm, creating Earth, global, flood, parting the Red or Dead Sea, blasting Sodom and Gomorrah to dust.
We have proven by the use of science and experimentation how the Earth formed, which is wildly different from god's bible account. Well you can interpret the made up hell out of that text, to help shore up bible science, which is weak and just sad I think. Now if the bible text could with little interpretive stretching line up well with modern day astrophysics, then we have a worthy prediction from the ancient past that could give us pause. Then invoking god the creator would have a bit more merit. Problem is the bible does not do that. The bible shows us a very mixed up account that does not show any scientific insight at all.
The same thing happens with the other major miracles. The global flood, Noah and the Ark. Geo-science has discovered strong evidence for comet/asteroid strikes, but zero evidence of a global flood. The ark proves itself to be false as the maths make it impossible. Now if god had lent a hand building the ark out of miracle wood from heaven, then maybe such a giant wood ship could have floated for a year. Problem is that this extra magic claim was not made, and history has demonstrated that there is a size limit for wooden ships. Even if Noah and his kin were master carpenters, the too big boat would sink for sure. Not enough room for the animals and their food and vegetarian Lions and Tigers, Noah was supposed to be hundreds of years old, and many more impossible things make the whole tale wacky.
What is next? Ah Exodus. No evidence, and there should be some. Add to that a hundred years of looking really really hard to find some evidence and getting nowhere kinda does it for me. So no physical evidence, so what about history? Moses and all his magic tricks did not get written down by the Egyptians or anyone else, and it should have been huge news.
Blasting Sodom and Gomorrah, once again no evidence, and once again the loving god is a baby killing fool. God has a repeating history of killing innocent babies, and do not give me that original sin bull turds as Adam and Eve as even a story makes no sense. If you think that really happened, slap yourself hard and knock out some of your stupid.
So forget the olden times and the fake news, how about a god argument many see as evidence of a god. Design. Things are so complicated we need some one to make it so god did it. Ta da! Well if I say vomit green is the new black and I really really believe it, that will not make the little vomit green dress the go to party gown. Also the science shows things get more complicated (and beautiful) over time. Super novas create heavy elements, they clump together, get crushed and melted, and sometimes big clean crystals form, which are complex and beautiful things that did not need god in any way.
I could come up with other clean indicators that god is made up, and that it is perfectly logical not to believe in him/her/it, but the holy rollers will never see it. They will use faith alone to hang on to god and jesus and mohammad, and moses and all the magic characters they have been indoctrinated to hold dear.

Here's Part II; Regarding his second bullet for question #1 - there are a plethora of populations in history which knew nothing of Christianity yet had a moral standard which they followed and a moral guide that was set. In fact, there are populations even today that know nothing of the gospel yet have a internal moral guide. A better argument would have been that God's presence is inherent even in those that don't know him in the Christian way.

@Moving2U Untrue again, Archaeopteryx was a dinosaur with wings, about the size of a modern day chicken, had teeth, claws on it's wings and could likely glide. This clearly shows a transition from dinosaur to bird as birds and dinosaurs have very similar skeletal designs, especially in their pelvic bones.
