I agree, I wasn't all that impressed by the locking mechanism and the removal of three little nails, I wanted to see the process of restoring the veneers and removal of old finish and the refinishing and re-staining process-yes, a waste of time. Very disappointing.
"Here's this chest of drawers" ... "and now he's putting on the finishing touches! Voila!" .... showing more of the restoration craft would be great
