Definitely check out more of them! Yes, this is a "true LotL song" but also they are extremely diverse and varied from album to album, while always keeping a unique and identifiable sound. They have heavier stuff, more electronic, more orchestral, etc. I would recommend Priest, La Bomba, Raining Stars, One Last song. Just keep in mind that it will take a while to truly have an accurate sample of their soundscape ;)
Hi good reaction! Their music is very varied and this song (genre and look of the band) is from Thornstar and if you want to hear more from this album (and this style of metal they do) check out: Ruins, Loreley and Haythor. I personally love the Judas album the most of which I would recommend: For They Know Not What They Do, Priest, Heartbeat Of The Devil and Viva Vendetta. I let the others recommend different songs, I just wanted to give my personal favourites.
I saw them live in a show as support of Powerwolf on October 31st (Halloween) this year. I can tell you they are awesome, I enjoyed every second. They not only supported Powerwolf, they also supported Iron Maiden on their Tours in 2022/23. Yes, and this here is more "Lord of the Lost" than "Shock to the System" what is from an upcoming covers album (release December 29th). With the song "Blood and Glitter" they were this year at the ESC, made the last place, but not because they were bad, on the contrary, that was a great performance, but the voting system of the ESC is not fair (for my opinion). Maybe you can react to "Blood and Glitter" someday. 🙂
I concur. You should just go on and enjoy. You can't judge Lord of the Lost by just a few songs. Can't put them in one box. And still they are always true to themselves and authentic in everything they do. If you like futurous settings you may try Raining Stars next. But all recommendations made by others in the comments can lead you further on. Thank you and merry X-mas!
Super difficult to say ”what Lord of the Lost really sound like” because they are constantly evolving and every album comes with a completely different sound and look. You should definitely take a deep dive into their catalogue!
Great reaction, and totally agree with the previous comments, they don't have a "typical" style or look. They change album to album, but sometimes just for a song. La Bomba, For they know not what they do, Blood and Glitter, The Look (Roxette cover), Loreley... all very different. So buckle up and enjoy the ride!
LotL are „genre fluid“ and don't limit themselves by sticking to one genre.. Dark rock meets goth meets glam metal meets synths including a perfect mixture of clean and harsh vocals down to growls. They are a rabbit hole to discover with a huge range within their music including three albums with classic instrumentation (The Swan Songs), synth driven songs or pure metal heaviness. Their singer Chris Harms changes between beautiful clear, dark singing and grunts&growls. They have supported Iron Maiden as“Special Guest“ twice across Europe in 2022 and 2023! Two suggestions: „The Gospel of Judas“: ua-cam.com/video/iUCbQ1rKOUg/v-deo.html „Priest“ ua-cam.com/video/xL3pC-_p4Bk/v-deo.html I just love this band and the boys themselves. They are so cool, crazy, kind and friendly. I did shoot them several times as concert photographer including backstage documentaries. Great musicians and great people. Some more suggestions out of so many great songs: "Raining Stars": Beautiful synth driven „Full Metal Whore“: Heavy, Heavier, … „A Splintered Mind“: Acoustic version incl. classic instrumentation „Loreley“: Their most popular song "Ruins": Heavy
Thank you for the support. The channel is really just me learning new music or at least new to me. I have no plans on falling off of my chair : ) . I have been impressed by what I have heard from Lord of the Lost. I will definitely check out more by them. Have a safe and Happy Holiday

Lord of the Lost are excellent. Also thanks for not being a 'reaction' channel falling off your chair and being ridiculous to gain clicks. Good job. 🙂
