this is one of the best new songs I have heard in years ( goose bumps good), if I was there mom I would be as proud as punch ,and Este her stage antics are great !!! these girls have major league talent , so now this 60 year old rocker is going to break out the SG and work this song out
she gets to sing a lot of parts now where the studio version is Danielle; I just saw a vid of Running if You Call My Name where she sand the whole first verse. It was very nice:)
This song is based on Este's UCLA freshman experience with a guy who used her for sex, pretending to want a relationship. Such disappointment is reflected in both the song lyrics and the facial/body expressions she makes. Her heartbroken angst after losing her virginity to a guy who betrayed her despite her loyalty. The night of this performance was especially hard for her and she was requestered to hitting the drum pad. The band manager took away her bass as punishment for her temper tantrum and subsequent loss of revenue. Due to a real life experience, the song is hard-hitting, emotional and therapeutic for all the band members.
Saw them do The Wire on SNL in '13 I can't find it anywhere. It blows the studio version away
This is my favourite performance of The Wire. So stripped down and perfect. 2:58, love her voice!
Alana's vocals here are so great!
All of their vocals are
These girls are exactly what rock needs right now.
Amen.
Rock needs three out of tune hacks???
Too late- your mother has taken care of that
Jim Coley They have more talent in 1 guitar string than you have in your entire body - fuck your own face
Dial down the anger.
Holy jesus that is one dam good live sound!!! Im knocked out by these lassies, excellent band!!!!
Really like this version. They all sound really good
I love this group and this song
Man, these chicks rock!
Perhaps my favourite live performance of this song by them, love it

the crowds is like watching an orchestra, so quiet
Alana should sing a lot more, she's just as good as Danielle and Este :)
So agree.

i nearly cry everytime
I love how Danielle growls at 2:50 and 3:07. So awesome!
Danielle's guitar tone is so sick and crunchy
That was rad :)
I absolutely adore Danielle (and Alana and Este of course) but that noise @ 3:06 creases me
Alana should get more solos ):
Great.
I know, that you're gonna be okay anyway. #haim Down to the Wire.
Can any camera focus on the leads when they are being played? Soo bad
Chick do rock tho

I like this stripped down version
Eeeeeyuh!
I miss the "bass face" as seen on Letterman. :)
My first time seeing Danielle wearing a tight jeans, usually she like it loose.
No bass face?
kidding? she clearly did it
;[
Fuck yes, women. 😘
Sounds like Diane Young by Vampire Weekend.
why are they singing always keep a hot latte?
0:01 to 0:54????? WTF i don't understand a word LOL!!!XD
Like the song, but the recording is like being in someone's garage on a re-used cassette tape.
WHERE IS BASS
this version has nothing on the original version
Are these daft bints singing in English?
