Btw I live in Waterloo Liverpool and my sister has a lovely little one bedroomed flat she rents from Crosby Housing Association and the rent is so affordable although as a pensioner with very little savings and no other income she gets her rent and council tax paid, worth looking into. Once the spring has arrived, the world will look brighter. May I suggest you think about joining a housing cooperative. The rents in housing coops are usually much cheaper than in typical landlord accommodation and the facilities can be better. You could maybe do a trip from the north of Scotland down to the south using your pensioner's travel pass. That would make a good YT series. At any rate, I wish you all the best and look forward to your updates, e.g. on the Community page - you don't need to post a video, just text.

I have just done under a year at a firm and the amount of work they expect, not enough money. I will put my health first and if that involves not working for a while so be it.

My friend just moved to Liverpool and straight away got an over 55s flat and was also offered another one within a couple of weeks , she's retired like you and she was also entitled to some housing benefit x Bootle

Then you could travel around and would have that freedom and change of scenery. Staying and caretaking on a campsite would be cool. Do they still have people to live in and caretake empty buildings? Want to say thanks for your videos. I'm 36 and can relate to you so much, i have no idea how I've fkd up like this, but money as with what seems in your story is often to blame. No matter how hard we try, it's like there's this unwarranted spell. When i first found your videos, it was because i was preparing to live out of the car and you hovered around where i'm about. I couldn't believe how brave you were, i hated how i could relate to the constant frustrating hurdles, watching your videos made me feel this terrible fear, because it made my reality real, and regular, which makes it a harder spell to break. I don't know how my youth slips from my fingers like this, but it seems very normal and likely to be the rest of it. I've enjoyed watching you go from car to what looks like a nice place. But my tummy would drop when I'd imagine having to live in some of the situations you've lived in (luckily i've managed to keep where i rent from following you, but right now facing a very uncertain future). Your strength and courage, and decency I'm thankful for witnessing. I thank you for being so true to yourself (i think this is why our spirits are treated this way by life). I hope you enjoy going walkabout, and I'm gutted you won't be sharing your journey. You could show people how you plan your trips and encourage people to get out by just documenting your process and your views, no explaining, just simple. When you've shared your sad moments, it's been like looking in a mirror - only the reflection you give is much stronger, braver, more humble than mine. There will come a day when you have to settle, so until that just accept who you are a Nomad at heart. Watch ‘The Other Windsors who are home based yes, but they send months with their dog Touring Scotland 🏴 The Isles , The Shetland’s and Orkneys. As I suggested to you before you need a Berlingo. Those Happy Days wants to tour Europe and with their Berlingo they managed it including Corsica. Just give it’s whirl. See. The Loggers that couple has lived for 10 years in a tent through the worst of winters a nomadic lifestyle.
