Peanut has the best life, always off leash, exploring, getting loves , such a haply dog.
Seeing Ed pop up in the passenger seat was just amazing. Been missing seeing him in the recoveries.
Indeed good to see him out and about with the team
Eds brutal honesty is always entertaining. Saying what we are all thinking.
Completely right. The driver must have been high on shrooms to drive in there
Yes ! And I hope that Nissan isn't a CVT to boot ! That would make it triple insane .
That's because he's a real man, he grew up in a generation of actual men not like today's blchboy coward guys...can't even call today's guys men.
@@indycharliepatrols dont have CVT
@@Pathfinding-earth Ok . But what is a Patrol ? Never heard of it . A Pathfinder replacement ?! I'll google it .....
I'm 10000% on board for more mining adventures with Ed!
5:17 Peanut just sitting in the mud 😂
Why would you bring a dog on a mud recovery. SMH!!
I noticed that too when she laid right in it LOL
Because he values the dogs more than having to clean his vehicle. @@rickyr7068
Peanut putting some red in that fur to match Matts beard
Great to finally see Ed being part of the rescue team again.

Hi from Northern Germany
Good thing they had a receiver on that rig. You make it look simple Matt. Good to see Ed in the co-pilot seat too.
I think a prospecting trip is just what you need, Matt. Tom Tom can be the camp chef and maybe Eric can go, too. But it won't be the same without the fearless Miss Lizzie, Trevor, and Mr. Cox. Jake and Ellwood are gettin' the band back together.
Lizzie isn't completely out of the picture. She just has a different job that she's always wanted to have.
She can still go on trips if planned at the right moment.
No Tom
It was nice to see Trevor on Rudy's channel the other day!
"We're on a mission from God"
How?😅
Wrecker doing wrecker things! The smile on Matt's face when he knows he's going on a wrecker job is the best.
Nobody gives the weather like Ed, nice to see you back Ed.
I’m a lot closer to Ed’s age then Matt. I’m stuck in bed with a bad back post surgery and it put a lump in my throat to see Ed back. Matt you are a special kind of person. The world would be so much better with more men like you. I hope someday to meet you. I have no doubt you’ll take Ed to his mine again. It’s better than any gold.
Best wishes for your quick recovery from surgery.
Love seeing everyone trying to stay out of the mud as much as possible, except for peanut. He just lays down in it like it is his dog bed. :)
I know! I was saying NOOOOO!
NOOOO is for a fresh range cow patty.@@volvo09
When I first saw Peanut lay down I was thinking Robbie's going to love this since neither truck has a back that Peanut can ride in .
Peanut- I'm helping
I was waiting for Matt to lay down next to her!
All is right with the world when Ed is back on recovery duty again. 👌 Wonderful to see him out and about again! 👍💕 Absolutely go on another hunt for the mine again! Of all the expensive vehicles, tools and equipment that doesn’t get regular maintenance, the one thing that does are Matt’s boots…keeps them oiled so his feet don’t get wet! 😂😂😂
Fake Matt of road recovery in Florida wtf
It was great to see you Ed, out in the wrecker for the first time. Its always great to see you anytime but this time was special for you and for us. Thanks for doing this and thanks for the video.
Great recovery, thank goodness you had that big Wrecker! I'm so glad to see Ed there with you. Finally, we love him very much. Thank you for sharing! 👌 😊
Great to have Ed on this job! Thank you for the weather report!👍
Finally, a weather man you can count on!
I loved the 'not too hot-C' Way to go editors.
And thank you editors for the candy canes ❤
Lol at 2:59 he had to caption Ed saying "Should've brought my boots." because it sounded like Ed really said "Should've brought my booze!"
@@StrangerDanger69-dt7yf I heard boots but then I re-watched it I heard booze 🤣
I suggest that you install a removable padded box in the flat deck where the dogs could ride when off roading, on blue steel.
You got a thumbs up just for Mr Ed 👍 really good to see riding with his ol friend Matt just how it started awesome God bless Mr Ed
Yay, good to see Ed back in the co-pilot seat.
Take care and lots of good wishes from CO
Good to see Ed on a recovery. He is a sage for the times with a lot of wisdom.
So good to see Mr. Ed again! Good luck and stay safe on your travels, sir!😊
Happy Ed came along and was smart enough to stay in the wrecker. I do think you all should make another attempt at finding the lost mine. I really enjoyed the last time.
they found it
So good to see Ed in action again! We have missed him.
Nothing makes me happier than getting a Matt’s off-road notification 😁😁
the illusive MORN

Same. It warms my heart and humbled my soul. We gotta enjoy the simple things in life.
Truly, we no longer watch TV, it's always check and see IF another episode of Matt's Offroad Recovery has been posted!!! Thanks for providing us with good family entertainment!!
It’s great that Ed made a appearance ! Yes to the Prospecting !!
Ed says Yes.
LMAO @ the Peanut laying down in the mud beside Matt!
He became a chocolate covered Peanut, lol...
Blue Steel looks too nice for a working rig!
Who will put the first scratch into it?
Not sure if you tried it but bare feet usually don't get stuck in the mud. I live most of the time in Thailand and when planting rice (I had to try it) bare feet in the deep mud are no problem at all, you can just walk almost normally except pick your feet up a lot more.
Great to see Ed out on a recovery ! Yes Yes Yes . Go find the Mine ! Thanks for sharing !
Y’all should definitely try to find the lost mine. Definitely cool seeing Ed with Matt on a recovery.
Looks like Peanut had a spa day with a mud bath. That dog is the greatest.
Great to see ED back on a rescue. Definitely go looking for his lost mine. TOO MUCH FUN!! And now you at least know where NOT to search!!
Great to see Ed out with the wrecker, he got a decent giggle at that Nissan out where it absolutely does _not_ belong. Man that thing was suctioned down but good!
It's good to see Mr. Ed back out on the road . And yes I think we all would like to see the lost mind shaft . Great job getting them out Collen be careful with that new leg
Interesting how the vehicles name changes from country to country. It’s a Y62 Patrol in Australia. The V8 sounds epic in some of the modified ones.
It's great to see Ed out on the trail with you again! I think going on another adventure to find Ed's gold mine is an awesome idea!💡
Cool recovery! What was that guy thinking? LOL As for Peanut...it's just mud, it will either dry and get vacuumed up or it will wipe off. Blue Steel looks great! Guess you decided to make the Wrecker road worthy. Very cool!! Ed is awesome!
Well done on the recovery. Good to see Ed out and about again. Nice to see Caulin is doing so well in his recovery from the op. Thank you for the video. Best wishes to all of you
Two 👍👍 for giving Ed a “candy cane” instead of cutting the footage out. 😉
I always laugh when they do that 😂
Merica, the land of the free where the country was built by people with 'candy canes' everywhere?
Once upon a time 'candy canes' became unscientifically taboo from mass media falseness and lack of facts, our GDP then dropped and we're falling behind other countries that freely embrace 'candy canes' as normal.
(It wasn't the 'candy canes' themselves that caused many supposed issue in the 70's/80's, it was mostly the propane/natural gas exhaust used at the time to dry the 'candy canes', that issue was fixed by the 90's). (Yes, many 'candy canes' have fsc and other stuff now, so not the best.)
The old timers might understand what I'm saying.
(For everyone else, too much of anything is not good for you including candy canes.)
Hello Ed. Good to 1 you up and at em. 9.4.23 turned 79. Your wisdom and enthusiasm always make me want to do more. Maybe be down to Hurricane this fall again. Mid October at the latest. Like to be back in Oregon by then. The wrecker, I worked in a rock quarry 68 to 79. Back then all the trucks were International 150s, dump and transit mixers. Gassers, 6 cylinder. The men were glad to get Peterbilt diesels, even though they were PINK! Thanks Matt and crew, for the entertainment and nostalgia that I am experiencing. I have pics of Lizzie, Jefe, and Ed that I look back on, such good people. 😊
I just turned 70, and I'm falling apart physically. Ed is mid-80s and he wants to search for a lost gold mine! I say, if he can do it, go for it!!! Ed is way tougher than any of us think. Excellent video today!
👏👏👏🤠 Ed's back in the saddle again 🎉🎊👍..
Found a mud puddle in the middle of the Desert and stuck it 🤔🤦..
Talented and Gifted 🤠👌.
Any Adventures with Ed is a great day 😀 even looking for gold ..✌️❤️
Peanut got to initiate Blue Steel being back to work! Good to see Ed out on a recovery!
Hey Matt you should definetly put seat cover in the back of blue steel . Easy to clean the mud on the seat with seat cover .
All things considered, at least it was a worthwhile recovery! They put full effort into getting truly stuck!
Would love a few episodes of looking for a lost mine .. Offroad Recoveries, Abandoned Mine explorarions, and Machining are my 3 main UA-cam interests!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
So good to see Ed out on a recovery!!!
Love to watch your show, with respectful, hardworking people!
Be aware of fake Matt off-road recovery phone number listed as a scammer
Ed is right. Don't even take the Wrecker down into that mud pool. It's amazing how sure footed Peanut was in the mud. Can you teach her to attach a winch line?
Great to see Ed out again and in the wrecker for the first time!🙂 I think you should look for his lost mine again, that would be great!!😃
awesome to see Ed on the trail with you, didn't realize how much i missed him : ) Love his comments, smile and laugh. Hes a sweetheart and the star of the show. (sorry matt)
I feel like Blue Steel might be a little to nice now.
That was crazy! Walking in the mud is good physical therapy for Collin... until he gets stuck. Good job Collin!
Great to see Ed on a recovery he's always straight & to the point, yes take a journey to find his claim, wreaker didn't even work hard great video thanks for sharing God bless ❤️😎👍
Cool to see the registration tag on the wrecker, that's proof that it's road-legal now!
Not quite. He risks getting a fix-it ticket due to not having proper fenders and mud flaps.
It cracks me up how interested peanut is and what you’re doing
Winches are great tools, but I sure miss seeing you use your Yankum ropes. Those exciting recoveries are what got me watching the channel.
Good to see Ed back on the trails again! And I just about gagged on my coffee when I realized Peanut was going into the cab that Robbie had just steam cleaned so beautifully!
Good call on Ed and Colin, good crew. . Matt Blue Steel is a work truck , mud will happen.
Great to see Ed out on the job, and in the wrecker! "Sorry Robbie" made me giggle.
It still astounds me how well the Wrecker does its job. Your creation makes really difficult recoveries look easy. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Hey Ed! Good to see ya! I think you should go with Ed back to see if you can find his lost mind Matt.
I am glad to see ed back in the recovery . good luck with your trip to find the gold.
Nice to see ED out on a recovery. Keep up the great content
Blue Steel is a work vehicle. I'm sure it will have a lot worse done to it besides getting a bit of mud inside before it's retired. Besides .... Peanut Rocks !
Seeing out with Matt on a recovery was just great. Nice pull getting Colin unstuck - way to go Dad! Bet the guy was dared to go into that mud pit...🤣 Good job by all on this.
If you don’t go every single chance you get to find the mine you will regret it when you are unable or Ed is gone. GO!! I WANA WATCH!!
Always good to see Ed on the job.
Absolutely anything Ed wants is fine by me, but if you ask me Ed is the goldmine. I hope you are interviewing him and putting his material into archive. He is a super knowledgeable and interesting man. Would love to meet him in a nice quiet space so he could tell some stories.
Wow that's a amazing job. Crazy recovery. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep recovering. Keep Making. God bless.
Greetings from CO!
You have good parents son( Matt & Jaime).Take care of them.
I have been blessed with a great family like yours. I feel very proud of you all when I see something like this.
The wrecker is doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Positively amazing that, all things considered, it is fairly trouble free. I never would have imagined a scratch built vehicle could come so close to its design goals in essentially one try.
Amazing job!
ED!!!! MAN IVE MISSED YOU! so happy to see you in good health,The People's Grandpa 🙏
Very nice to see Ed on a job. It has been awhile.
Time to take back that mini van. It has become painfully clear that 2 low in that mini van is completely useless!
Would love to see you guys try to find the lost mine again.
Absolutely go back with Ed to the mine area. That area is amazingly beautiful and I would love to see more of it. Please take Eric with you LOL.
I love watching your recoveries I have learned a lot from them. You do awesome work.
I always like to see tour strategies, it helps me when thinking how to recover my stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Always great seeing Ed ride along!
Glad to see Ed out and about! Ed would be good company searching for a lost mine.
ED! Hell yeah! Been a while since you have been on a call!
i think you need one of those pressurized water tanks that holds a few gallons and has a spray nozzle on a hose so you can somewhat clean up peanut/your boots before getting in your vehicles.
Nice job as usual, yall! Nice to see Ed again!
Also, I'd like to add, how adorable was peanut when she assessed the situation? 😅❤
I’m coming to Utah, I’m going to get stuck on purpose. Then when you come rescue me I’m throwing a party. I’ll make sure you bring Ed. I really enjoy watching this channel. I drive on sand on NJ beaches. I need a Matt’s off road recovery badge for NJ. Many blessings.
Great to see you Ed! Best luck for the Gold!!!
Love seeing Ed back on the job. Take Ed back to the Mine. It will make him feel young again. I know he has great memories of hunting for treasures.
Is that daylight I see coming through the roof of the wrecker?? 😂 love it.
Matt, when searching for the mine, take a drone or 2 with good cameras, you can cover many times the area in a fraction if the time.
Stop and pan the camera very slowly every 50-100 yards or so then review the footage on a computer when you get back.
Was so nice to see Ed on this one. He looked so excited & glad to be in that wrecker the first time.
Ol ed smokin a candy cane 🤦♂️ is this really the world were living in.... It's good to see him back on his feet and on recoveries.
UA-cam has a policy that withholds payment on videos that "promote" tobacco use.
Great to see Ed out and about again.
We can just see how Matt cares about his family, blood family, friend family & family of mankind.
You deserve everything good that comes your way and we pray for the safety & well being of your entire "family"🙏
It’s always great to see Ed he’s such a great character. I like his honesty and his brutality what he has to be. At least he’s honest.
Great to see Ed back at it!
Hi to Ed!
So happy to see Ed participating and looking great doing it!
Everybody stay safe!
Love Ed . Awesome to see him again
I always get a kick out of Matt's description of his recovery target. Toyota for Nissan, Ford for Chevy. It really doesn't matter what it is, just that will get um out! You guys rock.
Great to see Ed out on a recovery. It's been a minute. Coold idea to make another run and looking for the mine! Thank you for sharing
Yay.... Great to see Ed on a recovery in the wrecker.
Yes, we need to see another search for the lost mine.
Ed always has a lit candy cane with him. My style
“Montana, huh? They oughta know better,” - as a viewer for many years, I love hearing Ed’s assessment again!
So serious question: Has there ever been something that you haven't been able to get out? (Besides the sand climb a few videos back)
I have not watched it yet but common man! It gets a thumbs up since it MORR Day!
