- Tutorial for this classic to follow in the next few days. awesome 70's track with a fantastic solo put down on this (The album version) by the Great Ronnie Montrose.
Cheers, Kelly
I love to see a musician having fun with what he's playing. Nice one, Kelly! 😎
Mr Kelly’s always shredding something mean!
R u kidding me,, that was great!!
Awesome dude. Nailed it
Interesting take on this song. A little different from most and I like it!
You're a beast, man.
🤘😎🤘
Ronnie Montrose... worlds most underrated guitar player alongside Frank Zappa...
Looking forward to seeing the lesson for the solo on this classic. It’s so nice when you do all the work and I can kick back take a Free Ride 😂
Dude, you're awesome! If i was going to engineer a rock band for the purpose of maximizing popularity, air time, and profits; i would be looking for this sort of energy and passion, the good ear that you've shown in this video- to be the front man or main guitar player for the formulated venture. I guess i would have to find a really tight drummer too... Great video, Bro. I bet you've been kicked out of lots of bands (because the other guitar guys get jealous).
Never knew until recently that Ronnie Montrose did the lead on this song. I always thought it was Rick Derringer.
There are two solos to this actually. The album version (Ronnie Montrose) and the radio version (Rick Derringer). Why? No idea, haha.
@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar they're both great solos. I was fortunate enough to watch Edgar and Rick play it when they were both in Ringo's All Starr band. On Ringo's 70th birthday.
Also off topic but there was a very nice surprise at the end of that show. Paul McCartney came on stage and played Birthday with Ringo and the All Starr's.
Awesome job. I love this style of video. I can clearly see how to play the song without stopping explaining every note/chord. I am a blues dad for sure, just started a couple of years ago, and I have struggled to learn songs (in isolation) because I lose focus on tutorial type videos.
Thanks mate, appreciate that!
