- Hi everyone, sorry about the bad audio in this video. The audio files got corrupted while recording it. Increase the volume and it should be okay.
In this video, we go through my first chia mining setup. I finally pulled the trigger on it. The parts list and prices are below.

Hi Puno, unfortunately I haven't been lucky at all. I am at 300+ plots with no wins. It's pretty much a lottery. My friend with 20 plots won a block. So yeah! it's quite a tough space at this moment in the chia ecosystem.
@@DaniTalksTech yes I noticed getting crowded there... tell that buddy to buy lottery ticket. Might try tho. Hmm 300 plots looks a lot and still no reward... whats you eta win?
@@mmmerter12558 Hi Puno! I am now at 400+ plots with an ETA of 2 months. Zero rewards so far. I am barely able to keep up with net space.

how much is profitability
It's pretty much a luck system. It's not like GPUs where you have an expected return. I've been farming for a week now with zero profits.
@@DaniTalksTech as i guess you mine on solo mining method, i think you should wait to official pool and there you will get daily profit like GPU mining does. Or you can enter on unofficial pools for example Hpool, UUpool, etc. But i prefer to enter on official pool, it will be possible late of this month
@@Guga_Gelashvili you're right Guga. Everyone is impatiently waiting for the official pool. I personally won't be joining any of the unofficial ones as I am not comfortable sharing my private key and no one should in my opinion. In the meantime, we are all counting on luck! Indeed good luck to all of us. Since I filmed this video. I added additional plotters. I am at 200 plots and zero rewards so far. I have a friend who won some at 2TB!
@@DaniTalksTech my income per month is 300$, should I bought a 8tb hdd? my nvme 1tb plotter right now is at 85%. using ryzen 5 2400G irght now.
max 3 plots, manual parallel. after phase 1 , I add 1 parallel plot.
@@rhandelsumampong2070 Hi Rhandel. are you plotting and farming on the same drive? Eventually, you'll need somewhere to store those plots.
@@DaniTalksTech i have 1 tb nvme with 3pcs = 7tb hdd.
this is my gaming rig turn into chia, but my OS is at nvme hahaha sad.
@@rhandelsumampong2070 that's alright Rhandel. I initially started plotting on my gaming machine to test things out. Then I moved it into a dedicated plotter/farmer.

you're not wrong razorback. the net space has skyrocketed since I filmed that video making this very very hard.
400+ plots now with zero chia. Keeping it real as you said razorback!
@@DaniTalksTech I just hit 100, nothing so far. I have space for 600, gonna get there and then see what the story with the pools is.
@@razorback0z that's another concept to be tested as well. I think even with the pools, it won't be crazy profitable. Mining in general takes a while to build up (unless you're lucky and you mined anytime before 6 months ago) then you made $$$

How did you connect all the hdds?

How much this cost?
To have more and more subscribers you should invest high quality audio etc. haha.
