Which is why we love to see when kids get to see thier parents return. These kids are worried about their parents, so seeing how happy they are warms ones heart.
As one who’s lost there dad to the Iraq war in 2005 i watch these and am thankful that at least these kids have there parents

I cried watching this because I have a brother who’s in the navy and I wish I could see him again.😭🥺(Anyone who’s reading this thank you for the good wishes for him.And people who are asking I haven’t seen him in over 7 years and I won’t probably get to see him again since my parents and him are not talking anymore and I’m my only person out of my siblings who want to see him so yeah and I’m not saying that my life I bad I know there’s people with a way worse life then me I send out my prays to you guys even tho I don’t believe in god or anything)

this isn't really a thing over here in the UK... however... it was my son's 5th birthday (he's now 12) I came back from Afghanistan 2 days before. His mum told the school I was back and the school threw a party for my son's birthday (which was unheard of). He felt so special that his school would do that for him.
After opening presents (some of which were from me... his teacher asked "what would be your best birthday present?"
My son said "my daddy here".
i was already walking in to the school hall... i held back so many tears when i seen him. His teacher told him that he had one more present and pointed over his shoulder... he turned and once he turned round and seen me he ran towards me. That is when I cracked. Just seeing the joy on his face overwhelmed me. It is one day in both our lives that neither of us will ever forget.
I lost so many brothers. British and Allies.... I'll never forget them. just like like I will never forget my sons' 5th birthday.
I am now a retired Veteran who now spends his time in a kitchen as a chef. I pray everyday that all our boys and girls return home safely like I did. God bless you all. #GodBlessAmerica #GodSaveTheQueen

I can’t even imagine what it’s like for these kids who have parents in the military. I can’t even stand my parents being away for a couple days let alone a couple months. So glad they got to be reunited with them❤️

K well this is awkward but something like this happened at my school and 2 girls went running and the soldier was dad to only 1 of the girls and I felt so bad for the other one she thought it was her dad :(

My father did leaving 4 kids ages 6, 2,1 and 4 months old he died 22 years ago he never got to see us grow up, my mom wanted to kill herself and and little brother had to live with his mom because my mom couldn't care for all of us, last Saturday when my cousin funeral was taking place I went to his grave and for the first time in years I cried. My step dad puts his son over us including my mom he doesn't love us and when I'm scolding my little brother he gets upset and start to say cruel things to us. I pray that the Lord give you and your family strength wealth health and long life and that your parents will live to pass a 100. Dont forget the Lord

God I appreciate the service, the great sacrifices that these men and women make for this country that I love so very much.
I thank God every day that my son came home safe and sound, but it is bittersweet because I also know there are many that do not get this happy reunion.

Have you ever thought one day to ask those people who disliked why they dislike? Or the people who hate American Soldiers on why they dislike them? Hear them out someday. They are entitled to their own thoughts and opinions, just as much as you are too. It's just what they think, you cannot really judge them on their opinion, you can try and persuade them to change their opinion, yes, but you cannot judge them for what they think. Also do not think I disliked the video, I really did enjoy it. I am a proud United States Marine and as much as it enrages me that people dislike such a video, I have to think... They have reasons for disliking it. Hear them out someday.
