My dad surprised me at school in 3rd grade by coming in our door and I looked for 2 seconds and then looked again and I ran and hugged him❤❤ it was the best moment of my life!!!❤❤❤❤😊
My parents were married June 10, 1944 4 days after D-Day. Dad was deployed with the 65th Infantry, an All Puerto Rican Division to Italy to help push the Germans out. Later, for a period of 2 years all 3 of her sons were serving simultaneously, 1 Air Force, 2 Army who shared a 7 month overlapping tour (October 67-May 68) in separate Vietnam combat units. I wish someone had filmed my mother's reaction when her youngest, me, came home in December of 69. She knew then all 3 would be home, safe, for the first time since 1965! I really can relate to these videos. Thank you
After the soldier said “ that’s where I put my hat” the grandpa instantly tearing up and patiently waiting for his wife to get the first hug. Ohhh my heart. That family is so lovely.
As a veteran this gets every time!! I can remember my dad’s reaction when I came home from my first tour in Iraq!! When he saw me standing in parking lot he damn near crashed his truck into the garage. Then broke my nose when he tackled me to the ground to hug me, and yes boys grown alpha male types cry.
I’m bawling like a baby !! … these ones always kill me and bring the tears flooding … but HAPPY tears !! … to see a Service Woman or Man come home to their family which ever member it may be just brings tears to your eyes and your heart grows 10 times larger while you watch because your seeing true love … true family right there … it’s incredible … it truly is … the children break me down because oh how they must be missing Mom or Dad … their reactions are the greatest and tell you there is still love in the world when everything’s so messed up … and I love the Grandparent ones … seeing such joy and love because she or he is safe .. alive and home too see them for a bit just breaks me down … too all the Women and Men past and present now serving too protect us THANK YOU 🙏… you’s are TRULY HEROES !! … Sheepdogs on guard for the Wolves of the world … I am so sorry for the separation of you and your loved ones during your service … may you’s all get leaves for occasions like this and may we just end all conflicts and wars so women and men can be where they belong … with their family … too US service people , I thank you … too Canadian Service Women and Men I thank you … 🙏❤️… hope you get home soon and I run into you so I can buy you a beer … 🤙💯🇨🇦
All the heartache in this world, all what these soldiers do for us to protect us every day, protecting people they don't even know, look how happy there families are to have them home, these are the strongest most sincere people ever to grace our land, show them some respect as they do us without even thinking about it,they risk there lifes day in day out for us,this world needs to be a better place, all the children with daddy's going fighting everyday could be left without a parent and we don't think twice about it,it's about time we do think about it and stop making these people put there life on the line coz the world's in a horrible place, well done to all them soldiers out there your amazing ❤
this must be the highest human feeling. i enjoy watchin all of them.. i have no family and no friends but this gives me hope in humanity.. I'll die alone but i have so much joy for this people.! love from germany
I'm not from the USA, but all I got to say I'm grateful for these soldiers who fought bravery to protect their people and citizens. I really salute them for their bravery. Much respect from Botswana🇧🇼
This message is to thank all our troops for there sacrifices they make each time the get deployed and sending prayers to the families and troops that are risking there life every day for our freedom
I love these videos. It just warms my heart so much and wish it could be me. My son has been stationed in Japan for eight years and I have only been able to see him one time with it being so expensive for him to come see me or for me to go see him. I was lucky enough to be able to fly to Japan. It was a gift from my son so I could meet my granddaughter in person for the first time thank God for FaceTime, love and respect for all of our servicemen and women and to all the families.
Home of the free, because of the brave........you wont understand the real meaning of it until your love one is one of the brave ones. I miss my only son so much.
Son of a Military family here. Just as these are such heart warming reunions here. The ones that come home in a flag draped coffin tear my heart out!!😢As Lincoln said “They gave their last full measure of devotion “.
*shakes head* If you are religious, pray for them. Their sons go out to meet death, fighting men they do not know, all on behalf of a few men that do know each other.
That what I think of the most. They gave their life for this Country. It's a shame how they are treated like crap. Wen I see a Veteran I THANK them for their services because they deserve it and more than they get from this country. Thank you SR.
Thank you very much and may God bless each one of you... and even bless those who insult and curse you from their comfort zone... because it is easy to talk and say so much nonsense about them but it is difficult to put them into practice.
Makes me remember when I came home for 2 weeks after being gone for almost a year. Surprised my parents. First time I'd seen my step dad stunned and my mother surprised and excited, as she had two sons deployed overseas. I was in the ground and my brother was in the Persian Gulf.
Every time I watch one of these videos, I ALWAYS end up crying my eyes out
So many heart reunion. Heartwarming for them but also for us.😢. Thank you for sharing your precious moments.

As the soldiers walked through the door, the room filled with an overwhelming sense of love and relief.
With all the destruction and hatred in the world, how wonderful to see pure love! ❤️
After the soldier said “ that’s where I put my hat” the grandpa instantly tearing up and patiently waiting for his wife to get the first hug. Ohhh my heart. That family is so lovely.
