The fascinating thing, is that this movie was based on a comic that many people consider the worst spiderman story ever. They took that story, and made gold with it.

I worked hard on a TON of animations for Tom Holland’s Spidey in this film & I was so HONORED & GRATEFUL to have been a part of it. I laughed & cried when I sat in the theater the night it premiered. Always glad to see how much people love it, & are moved by it. It’s a great story, and I hope the next one is as well written. 🙏🏼 IMHO, after End Game, this was the last GREAT Marvel film. (Guardians 3 was good, but WAY too sad/dark… I LOVE animals & my dog was dying that year, so Rocket & his friends’ story crushed me.) Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the film & congrats to all my fellow co-artists on it! We got nominated for the Oscar for Best VFX! (But lost to Dune 😫😭 💔, which admittedly, is a pretty damn good film & director/writer/VFX crew to lose to, but still… 😭🙏🏼)

Andrew was portraying his Spider-Man like a middle child, seeking love and approval from his brothers. It’s small little details in the acting like this that make this movie so great.
I don’t ever want to see another Back to the Future made, but if they did, Tom has to be Marty McFly. Just the way he says Doc, reminds me so much of Michael J Fox. I know he was playing it like that on purpose, but he even managed to sound a little like Michael.

Plan B was the spiderman script that included Kraven the Hunter as the main villain.
We have covid to thank for this film happening. Covid caused everyone's schedules to open up thus allowing all of the celebrities to reprise their characters. This film is the result.

Sure for a scientist, but as a *Doctor* Strange should know not to start an operation without the patient's *informed* consent. Explain the procedure and the possible outcomes before hand. He waited until he already started to explain the parameters to Peter. Peter's a highschool kid (not actually a scientist yet), Strange is a grown adult neuorsurgeon. Strange is the one that's supposed to know better.
Also, Peter only wanted the people who *Mysterio* revealed his identity to to forget. Strange just said "alright let's make everyone *including me* forget you." The fact that making exceptions was a possible option makes it weird he was gonna make even himself forget to begin with

Yes, Strange could have warned him beforehand. His mistake was believing Parker was a mature guy, knowing this from sharing the time with him on the battlefield.

When the movie was coming out
I was on vacation in Florida.
    The day it came out
I begged my parents to go to the movies. (They were gonna wait till we were back home to watch the movie cause we were on vacation). But I BEGGED(with help from my older siblings) We got to the movies early that day it came out and it was all sold out. The whole theater was ONLY showing Spider-Man. The theater was HUGE upstairs and downstairs and it was sold out. So we came back a few days later. We got the last seats. The theater was PACKED. Mostly adults ofc. It sounded like a concert. It was so loud you couldn’t hear the movie. Screams every time the Spider-Man’s were shown or the villains were shown. Or the special guests (daredevil and venom). LOUD. I never experienced a movie like that before it was gold. I’ll never forget it. Genuinely amazing.

Remember that part in Doctor Strange where he fucks about with the Time Stone on an apple, for no other reason than to satisfy his own curiosity and see if he could work it properly... yeah, Strange absolutely WOULD do that spell. Especially because, much like Strange had to learn in that same movie, Peter knows that what he's asking for isn't about him, it's about innocent people that (as far as both he and Strange know) need help righting a wrong unjustly done to them, and all conventional avenues to fix that have failed.

    • @user-lb9xw4xf2q

Dr. Strange is usually a pure pragmatist, but he is still only human. He saw Peter hold his own during the battles against Thanos, and how he defeated Mysterio, so while uncharacteristic of him, it isn't beyond possibility that Strange would have a lapse in judgement due to forgetting that Peter is still just a kid. Plus, he was distracted by his own issues too, like how he is no longer the Sorcerer Supreme, so is dwelling on what his role would be now.
Besides, he had faced greater risks, such as bargaining with Dormammu and allowing the Blip to happen because Tony needed to survive to help create time travel, which in itself was also a potentially cataclysmic risk.
