I am free to play. I was working on the sith faction whole time I play the game, even the weak ones, and now I just level up the imperial officers needed and then I will be able to get him. Completly free to play.

@@todlumiere I think windu is pretty good at first, but he doesn't really have anything that makes him stand out.
I still use him on my team though, because I don't have any legends yet.

If I ever get a GL, I want Palpatine. Unless there’s a GL Kenobi or something, I’ll be much closer to that.

Every time I see a GL SEE vs GL Rey fight, I smile a bit. Because he wins every time and that's how that shit should have gone down in the final movie.

After watching both of these GLs, I feel Palp is far stronger than JML. His anti Rebel and Jedi synergy is huge since JML has no anti Sith synergy, I think they may need to add some form of anti Sith synergy to equalize these two a bit more
I agree completely, SEE is the only GL that is super strong against TWO other GL's.
Dan Hazel and to think an easy balance to boost JML but not crazy high would be to add to his leadership that Jedi gain tenacity per Sith or Sith Empire enemy (idk what percentage). That alone would help boost the team and it makes sense because the Jedi would be resisting the dark side (debuffs). So it makes sense in the game and in lore.
@@thatzachguy76 also think of the awesome theory crafting potential if they gave visas Marr the Jedi tag so she could be included to work with his anti-sith synergy!
JML seems a complete joke compared to SEE. So powerful. He, the attacker, is even far more tanky than JML, the loling tank. Again CG to its greatest. Ridiculous
Love how the tables have turned now... JML was amazing even before JKCK and now he's the best leia counter while SEE will be getting darth bane for him not to completely suck
I remember watching Skelturix’s stream and watching Palpatine, with no living allies, obliterating every character on the enemy team by himself when he hit the ultimate

yes, he is not OP at all since he can solo GAS and Rey and JKR and other top teams. he is not OP at all since there is one counter to him, which most people don’t even have.

Aarav Shah I mean it’s pretty much the same thing with Kylo, he can solo plenty of good teams and is the top raid team by FAR, and Kylos counters most people don’t have

I like the balance. I feel like most of the people getting GLs relatively F2P are either going LS or DS. Its nice to see if you "pick a side" your not gonna be totally stuck behind any 1 specific GL

Your observations on ultimate vs non-ultimate Rey is spot on. Even for my Vader counter, I'm much more afraid of non-ultimate Rey cause if you don't get her down early she just Whirlwinds your team to death. Ultimate Rey is usually an easy 60 banners with Vader, sometimes not against non-ultimate Rey.

Honestly, I can see that the whole dynamic between Rey, Supreme Leader Kylo, Jedi Master Luke and Sith Eternal Palpatine is going to be very fun, because each team has its advantages over the other.
While SEE's strategy is to stall in order to get to his Ultimate, I wonder if the OG Palpatine could synergize with the restored SEE, since he also applies shock and Emperor Palpatine gets more protection the more Shock is applied.
It could work, if you mod him for Potency and Survival (Health, Protection, Defense)

Luke seemed really underwhelming just from the kit revel alone. Palp has far tooo much anti Jedi synergy for Luke to really be relevant
The biggest highlight of JML so far is how he can auto SLKR. We probably have more to learn about him still but Palp is just a crazy solo machine.

have you tried linking Kylo (or whichever GL is leading) in order to drain their high protection sooner? With their high speed they take more turns, which will in turn reduce their max protection more frequently. Just a thought

just need 346 stun guns, 826 kyrotechs, 793 carbantis, 600 stun cuffs, 341 biotechs, 170 medpacks, 215 droidcallers and 214 thermal detonators before I can start the Palpatine event. And that’s excluding a lot of other more accessible required gear. The worst part is that Piett is doubling the combined gear alone... oh how I love gear grinds CG! :O
