What they could do to buff Luke is add to his unique, Jedi Legacy, that if a Jedi uses a special ability and they didn’t already have Jedi Teachings they gain it for two turns.
What this would allow is for the Ultimate to charge faster and if you want him to reach his ultimate he wouldn’t have to be in the leader slot because right now it is almost impossible to reach it without his lead.

As someone who is already countering the JML in my shard, using Nihilus's insta-kill on Luke is NOT a bad idea. Instead of destroy, you get 70 thousand damage, which is a significant progress when it comes to killing Luke.
Only bcuz ultimate Palpatine's basics are instakills themselves

I think several people would rank that way I personally think it is more complicated than that. I think that might be the list depending on how important you rate: raids, direct GL vs GL combat, GAC, Geo TB and Arena. So you certainly can say that but I do not think it is that cut and dried. Neither Rey nor Kylo can ace Luke like Palp. So while this footage looks stark it is not the case in other combinations. I would say the rock paper scissors is a better metaphore.

There really isn’t much to show for raids. I haven’t made a video about it because it’s pretty lackluster. I might just make a video about it since I get so many questions about raid viability.

Jedi Master Luke definitely needs a buff! I feel like reworking Jedi like Luminara would be good so you can actually her with Jedi Master Luke to compensate for Hermit Yoda’s protection recovery! I’m curious if a second tank in a Jedi Master Luke team would help if Luke is getting low on health, like maybe the AI would go for the other tank instead of Jedi Master Luke! Maybe a good tank like Kanan could help, stake him up with health as he recovers health when suffering a rebuff! Just a thought you could look into until and when he gets buff!

Yeah hard to say. It may just be JML is meant to be steam rolled by SEE just like how SLKR steamrolls SEE.

Right with SEE and JML are permanently in their ultimate abilities and you do not need to charge again.

What if there are two pre taunting tanks in the line up? Would SEE have to go for both with his 'entwined fate' ability. Cos if he did then GAS would still get to crit the others

A few people have asked this. Apparantly SEE doesn't do nearly as well because he doesn't stack up mastery. However so many people have asked I think Ahnald said he would do a video on the P vs E content. He is just concerned it will be lack luster and then not gather views.
All they have to do to fix Luke is make it to where in his leader ship his team cannot be affected by fear and either make it to where Jedi training is an un-dispelable buff OR his team is also immune to shock and buff immunity

Id love to see a comp with kanan, ezra, bariss. Kanan and bariss could toss out a lot of dispells. Yoda? What about ten up? Everyone is using gas and jedi luke....lets see some diff comps...maybe its a comp thing not just a throw the stongest out there.
Imagine if there was a kenobi galactic legend and he was a support character that had amazing synergy with ki adi mundi and other council members like mace windu. Maybe coming along with a mace rework. Although I hope this would be the case considering how hard ki adi mundi is to get that he would be very useful. Anyway that’s just my hope for the next galactic legend.

So not really galactic legends related but, apparently if you give magma trooper inevitable failure under a thrawn lead he takes 20 bonus turns, also with emperors trap he can do big damage, really just for fun, also throw in vader for fun too, he has synergy with piette and his bonus turns rack up inevitable failure

Depends on how important your money is to you and how important being top in arena is in comparison. Wisdom in is in the mind of the chooser. Either would be good but remember if you HDB it you will jump forward in farm and level etc but you won't be at the right mod level for where you would be if you progresssed naturally. So don't expect that to work like you might imagine. Your arena shard will be fixed with you and so you might get really ahead and able to cash in on those high finish crystals (Though many other people will be HDBing it as well) however it will capapult your GP to match you in GAC with accounts who have been playing far far longer, just be prepped that they will have an unfair advantage over you in speed mods. Plus if you go all out for the GL until you get them it is going to be hard because you won't have a lot of the characters like JTR, CLS, Traya, Raid Han, Chewy, ROLO, Hermit Yoda, Padme, JKR, Geos, GG, Wat Tambor etc that normally flesh out your high GP GACs. So it can work but there will be many trying it and if you go full on just after them in order to get them first missing akk the periferals means you will suffer in basically everything except arena. Anyway just my thoughts.

Hey Ahnald im a pretty new F2P player using Phoenix, what should i do next, maybe an Imperium team, cause I already have Darth Vader, Tarkin and almost the stormtrooper, is it worth it?
There are videos on this subject on the channel just search them up. In short though his main advice is farm sepratists next and get Padme. She is very good. You want to always get something to unlock legendaries or hero journey characters. Geonosians will be useful for getting Padme but they are a solid team early on and they will be needed to Unlock Wat Tambor who is an excellent character!

So has sith triumvirate been working real well with SEE? I know I also saw that sith Empire with Darth vader and SEE lead makes it almost impossible for JML to win even on offense.
Maybe if Jedi teachings is prevented or dispelled, he should get double charge on the jml ultimate. That would be an interesting balance
Seeing how much more investment it takes to get get jmls, its kinda sad how much weaker he is than palp
you know what that means...JML buff incoming. because instead of CG testing their characters properly, they like to buff/nerf already existing characters
After seeing all of this, would you still say going for SEE as a first GL would be the right call? Assuming you don't have a ton of relic'd toons for other GLs or a veteran account for GML. Out of the other 3 it still seems like Gucci Palp is the best choice for someone without any progress towards any of them :D
Seems like either SEE or Kylo. IMO Kylo would be better with his raid soloing capabilities. #1 in Sith raid would be awesome for a newer character. But I don’t have a GL, so what do I know?

Correction: fear doesn't prevent enemies from taking turns. Technically they take a turn but can't use abilities

It prevents them from using abilities. That’s what moves palpatine’s ultimate. Enemies with deceived need to use abilities and fear prevents that.
What about SEE, EP, Vader, Larry, Sion, and SETrooper. Seems like it would be a good lineup.

honestly it sucks that at this point we expect CG to buff luke or to nerf others. shouldn’t the expectation be that they release characters after proper testing? maybe a mistake every now and then...but this has become a norm.
I don't think it is needed. I think they obviously did test. They are not shocked the massively anti Jedi character beats the jedi GL. Luke does other things and apart from Revan and eternal emp he seems to be able to clean house. I like that balance. I am with Ahnald for the idea of rock paper scissor. The fact Luke has an achilles heel is not a reason to extensively nerf/buff. He has a lot of uses other than just taking on SEEP it just means people will have to be careful where they place him in GAC maybe using him for offence instead of Defense. Or just benefiting from his impact in P vs E content such as Geo TB.
Also when say say the norm I assume you are refering to GLKR and Darth Malak because as far as I remember none of the other releases we have had in the last 2 years have had buff/nerf balance changes soon after launch. Happy for you to remind me though if I am not thinking of some. For me for it to be the norm it would have to be at least over 50 percent of new characters... just my thoughts.

What happens if JML goes first? wouldn't he be able to ability block palpatine before linked can be applied and reduce the other Siths TM? If you then used reven with no decieved you could target SEEP at the start and maybe crush him
