nobody will ever be like Dilla...Alchemist still very below...its impossible to reach Dilla's level because Dilla is a phenomenom. no matter how hard you try, you won't ever reach the same feel that he was made of...its way different.

@@UCiWrMgES50tlUhV3l6NqjNA ALC still very below ? You bugging. Both are genuises in this thing we call Rap. Dilla got a whole lot more praise after passing. All of sudden it was Dilla this Dilla that. Don't recall many people being on his nuts while he was still here.

What a great artist! He focus on the inside, focussing on the outside is unhealthy. Society is like a sock, the seam is on the inside against my foot and the nice soft side is outside to the world. That`s that sock wisdom yo.

This is why ALC still got the sauce. See where Kanye lost it, he didn't realize that he was just a conduit... he wanted all the glory. Everything is energy, we just channel it

I do this all the time from time to time, there's just something about that vibe that this video brings. Sometimes on a daily you loose that beatmaking lifestyle vibe and you feel pretty miserable. I think it's all about that 90's-20's beat making vibe - no internet, no social media or just barely getting in touch with the internet and all that. Maybe that's nostalgia, but fuck I just like to vibe and picture windows 98, those old computers and all that vibe, mixed with jazz and careless living. Things ain't the same, but in the studio - you can go back, freeze, go into the unknown or just simply chill. Time in the studio is overrated term. There is no time and if you can make time disappear in the studio then damn, you live forever. At least that's how it is, that's how I feel it. Beat making keeps you young, you just have to keep pushing when everybody around you is growing up and suddenly not vibing with you. Because the truth is that it was always you and the machine - drum machine, laptop or whatever. That's your best friend and your one and only true love. Sounds clique, but whatever lol, I've been making beats for a while and after a while you just realise damn I've been doing same shit for years lol. Idk, there's just that struggle of growing up, but maybe it's good to feel this way. Because every time I drop a fire beat I get that same feeling I had when I just started, sometimes it just takes more time to get to that place, but that feeling is the shit. You know what I'm talking about xD

It has to be therapeutic and not suppose to complicate you, move on.

3:20 i felt that. That is one of my curses. I have drawings I did over 10 years ago that I feel i have to add or change shit whenever I look at them lol. This is why whenever I “finish” a drawing, I analyze it for a while and put it away and refuse to look at it again for a long time..otherwise I can’t let go. Perfection is like poison sometimes
