I even have a mixtape i made back in 2001/2002 with the song title and "(Produced by The Alchemist)" in parentheses on the liner notes that I wrote. I didnt have the internet during that time nor did I own the Jadakiss CD but I somehow knew who produced it. Life before the internet became a necessity.

I think it's all about that 90's-20's beat making vibe - no internet, no social media or just barely getting in touch with the internet and all that. Maybe that's nostalgia, but fuck I just like to vibe and picture windows 98, those old computers and all that vibe, mixed with jazz and careless living. Things ain't the same, but in the studio - you can go back, freeze, go into the unknown or just simply chill. Time in the studio is overrated term. There is no time and if you can make time disappear in the studio then damn, you live forever. At least that's how it is, that's how I feel it. Beat making keeps you young, you just have to keep pushing when everybody around you is growing up and suddenly not vibing with you. Because the truth is that it was always you and the machine - drum machine, laptop or whatever. That's your best friend and your one and only true love. Sounds clique, but whatever lol, I've been making beats for a while and after a while you just realise damn I've been doing same shit for years lol. Idk, there's just that struggle of growing up, but maybe it's good to feel this way. Because every time I drop a fire beat I get that same feeling I had when I just started, sometimes it just takes more time to get to that place, but that feeling is the shit. You know what I'm talking about xD
