The amazing about this song particularly is that the tune is fully improvised, the composer only put the main theme, scale, rhythm, tempo and the Sheikh fully improvised the rest. Amazing voice i’ve heard the closest description for it as a “crystal chandelier”

I hope you can see my comment..
The meaning of "العبد" is "the worshiper" not "the slave" the word in Arabic can be used for both two meanings..
But in the religious context it's always mean the worshiper ♥️

Actually, there is a story about this religious chant. It is that the late Egyptian President Anwar Sadat asked the genius composer Baligh Hamdi to compose such a melody for the sheikh. Sheikh Naqshbandi was surprised and refused to sing, but he agreed after hearing the beauty of this melody.

A very very very special video. Sayed El Nakshabandi is definitely a reciter and religious singer who makes us get goose bumps. He is not just a great reciter and religious singer. He is also very deeply entrenched in our culture, especially that his voice reminds us of the best Ramadan days ever in the late 1960s (1969) until the 1980s despite the fact that he had died before in 1976. But his works and recitations were and are still heard, but now with a lot of nostalgia and longing for these great days of the past and Ramadan and the unrepeatable beautiful family gatherings during the great month of Ramadan. Thank you. A very special one.

In Egypt we have a whole list of beautiful and unique voices, you’ve already reacted to many of the most talented and iconic ones like Um Kulthum, Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Abdel Halim, Sheikh Al Nakshabandy, Abdul Basset Abdel Samad … and you still have another voice from heaven which happens to be the voice of the famous and by far the best reciter Sheikh Mohammed Refaat.
We also have other beautiful voices of singers like Laila Murad, Abdel Ghani El Sayed, Karem Mahmoud, Soaad Mohammed, and lots more.

I love your choices, You make me rediscover our Egyptian gems all over again, and I thank you for it. And to answer your question on how come we have a lot of voices, Egypt is populous, which means numbers control the whole thing, we have so many people that come with so many tastes, Also it is a challenging environment to prove yourself and slight a singer or a composer from the rest.

Great video with another great voice. Thank you IJay.
I know that in Egypt, the reciters used to learn the phonatics in a way similer to music studies. i know also that they mastering some techniques like sircular breathing. this is one of the reasons the Egyptian classic singers have a strong continious voices and clear pronuncations. they were usually started to learn that and figer-out the good talents in early ages when they start learn reading and reciting Quran at the mosque or "Kotab"

I can see that you are coincidentally making a lot of videos about songs and art works whose music was composed by the Arab world’s legendary music composer, Baligh Hamdi. Other songs you made videos about of Hamdi were the following:
    - Siret El Hob (سيرة الحب): Umm Kalthoum
    - Alf Lela u Lela (الف ليلة وليلة): Umm Kalthoum
    - Gana El Haua (جانا الهوى): Abdel Halim Hafez
    - Baed Annak (بعيد عنك): Umm Kalthoum
And finally this one of Al Nakshabandi.

The composer of this song is Baligh Hamdi and he is the same guy who composed (Syret El Hob and Alf Leilah Wa Leilah) for Umm Kulthum

Nakshabandi we are loving him so sooo much, and realy he is creative.. This singer in that song expresses what is inside of us (especially as Muslims) or as worshipers of God of all religions as well
..because it expresses the condition of all of us in our hope in God that He is pleased with us, protects us, and is always with us.♥️
_ As you can see the name of the song (مولاي أني ببابك قد بسطت يدي)
which means: (My Lord, I am at your door, I extend my hand to you, and I ask you
Who can I turn to and take shelter with, except you, my supporter? 🥺♥️)
_ Look at the beauty, Jay!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
