Labyrinth and Crossroads. The best one-two punch of songs released in recent years and the pair of songs that made me a fan. The symphonic pop of Crossroads is a deep love of mine and I was delighted to find it in Kpop.

gfriend has always been known amongst buddies as having more of a jpop vibe to their music. it's exactly that what differentiates them from other kpop groups and attracted buddies such as myself to their music. also because of it, they've been heavily criticised for it too.

When Yerin kicks out near the end I think in her lyrics she swears in Korean which is politely translated as go away instead of **** off. I don’t understand Korean but there is a behind the scenes video of them in their dressing room excitedly listening to Labyrinth as soon as it was released and Yerin sang that lyric. Sowon whiplashed around and looked sternly at Yerin and told her off saying that there was no need for language like that but Yerin looked confused and said that she was just singing the lyrics. As Gfriend has always had a wholesome and innocent image this must have been quite a shock to the Korean public but was done deliberately to try and show that Gfriend have now grown up.

In crossroads it shows yerin is trying to kill herself or I think it's showing hw she feels inside due to the butterfly effect in fingertip and then yerin's on a passing train alone (which I'm guessing is again she dying or crossing the veil or continues from fingertip mv where she's killed) but as eunha let's the butterfly out the train runs back and sinb [who was seen killing yerin as a result of the butterfly effect of eunha using her powers or the butterfly in fingertip era] drags her out the train INDICATING SHE'S SAVING YERIN BECAUSE EUNHA TURNED THE TIME back. BUT AS FINGERTIP WAS SINB KILLING YERIN, IN CROSSROADS EUNHA'S POWER'S BUTTERFLY EFFECT RESULTS IN YUJU AND UMJI SEPARATING.. Eunha and sinb fighting and sowon alone is because of her other times using her power?. so i think next mv has to show another memebers power.
