I can’t believe even after the Branson incident they still enclose these things. DUKWs were designed during WWII and very poorly even to the standards of that time. These things are deathtraps
Planes crash every day and yet people still fly in them. The issue was the Branson incident was during a derecho. If there was no derecho it wouldn't have happened. Management was the factor as they made the call to set out into the storm.
I remember the first time doing this in the late 80's as a kid. Still fun in 2024.
Just rode them in September 2022, it was great. Hasn't been to the dells in 50 years.
Rode this in 2016. I'm proud to be a Wisconsinite, but not proud to live an hour and a half away.

rode a couple years ago and it seem like he 'punched it' out in the woods a bit was a good time didn't stop before going into water
