    You can also use a steamcleaner on natural stone. It works well without damaging the stone and the steam disinfects.

    For pet hair I use a chom chom roller. It's a bit bulky but it works really well on clothes and furniture, even after a year of daily use

    I’ve added you! I have black cabinets that don’t clean well. And a lot of light shines in on them. I want to paint them, but what should I clean and prep them with?

    How often do you replace a swiffer duster head? Thank you for your help!

      I usually replace once I notice it’s still leaving dust on the surface. The head will look quite dirty as well. 🙂

    Just watched your video of you cleaning a keyboard with rubbing alcohol. I have used bleach wipes for years. Is there any harm in using bleach wipes?

    You can paint over moldy caulk. Use an enamel paint. I have also painted over floor tile grout. I use spray paint, spraying a small amount into the lid, and apply the paint with a small brush.

    Why do Scrub Daddies scratch so many of my surfaces? Dishes, the hard clear plastic in my fridge, my kitchen sink and faucet, plastic containers, cultured marble sink tops, my shower walls (not tile/I think its fiberglass), etc. I bought so many and keep trying them in so many places to use up what I bought (they were so expensive so I don't want to waste them). After cleaning in most places, I notice new scratches. Most of those surfaces were cleaned with hot water, so the sponge feels soft. I know you promote them, so you may not be able to answer me. It is just so hard for me to believe that they scratch so many of my surfaces but everywhere I read reviews it says they are scratch free. Either I am using them wrong or some real reviews are getting deleted.

      I dont know. I use scrub daddies on literally everything.

      I would never use scrub daddy's cos I too think they are too hard and would scratch the surface, I use the normal non scratch scourer sponge which has one side sponge and the other side is scrub but not has hard as scrub daddys,or use scotch brite non scratch ones.

      To potential: 😢 I saw your unfortunate info, on how the scrub daddy scratched your appliances. I would contact the scrub daddy mfg. Themselves && get their response, their solution or such. 😮🎉.

    • @anonmelclean
      @anonmelclean 3 місяці тому +9

      Pro cleaner here! Scrub daddies are scratch free on hard, non porous surfaces. Soft appliance plastic and cultured marble are a nono! They can be used on fiberglass in good condition but as fiberglass tubs age, the protective coating/sealant layer tends to erode and gets much easier to scratch. Another thing to consider is what cleanser you are using with the scrub daddy. A gritty/exfoliative cleaner like pink stuff or barkeepers friend can absolutely scratch delicate surfaces if used with a scrub daddy even though scrub daddies are non scratch. Finally certain stronger cleaning chemicals will weaken the surface you are cleaning and can lead to scratches (old brittle or soft appliance plastics are especially prone to this). Pro cleaners have the experience to evaluate surfaces and can tell when we can break these rules--if you're not a pro, look up the manufacturers instructions for maintaining/cleaning whatever you are trying to clean and stick to that!

      If it's been on in for years it could be etching, wich can't be cleaned of without buffing out the etched. That requires getting a buffer though

      You could paint over everything with Kilz primer. It should block the odors and paint over the stains.
