I knew 💯 that Hollywood would love this one! This is a soundtrack of my life song. Reminds me of high school even though it came out a couple years after I graduated. The feeling though! You guys may know their biggest hit-“The Middle” “…It just takes some time, little girl, you’re in the middle of the ride, everything, everything will be alright. Everything, everything will be alright…” I’ll give you that one for free cause it’s played everywhere still but I will suggest y’all check out “555”. Newer and different sound and vibe but still awesome! And that video is interesting. As always, thanks for the throwback! ✌🏻💛🎼
Yes Amber Hollywood enjoy it very much as well as smokey. Can't wait to check out the other songs you mentioned. Thank you for all you love and support on Patreon we greatly appreciate it all.
This song was on EAs NHL 2003 and 10yr old me couldn't get enough of it lol my music taste has changed greatly from that time but everytime I hear this song, it brings back memories of a simpler time and one of my favorite games of all time.
Same here. We couldn't afford a game console that could play it, but I used to play NHL lots at my friend's place. Grateful for that. The song takes me back
If you want to know how big these guys were/still are, they currently have 10,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, the same number as Rage Against The Machine who are absolutely massive.
My friend played this for me when it first came out in a 99 mustang convertible and before it started he said “I’m declaring this the song of the summer” …dude what a summer
This song is peak middle school for me, lol. I remember having this song burned on to a cd with a bunch of anime opening themes and Blink 182 songs. If you enjoyed this, I highly recommend checking out a live version of "Goodbye Sky Harbor", one of the best songs they've ever written!
I went to see these guys perform when I was in high school. The crowd was absolutely insane during this song. Everyone was singing as loud as they could. Jimmy Eat World is a total vibe. The late 90s and early 00s where a great time,
I bought dude's signature Telecaster (Fender JA-90 Thinline) because of this song. BEST.DRUNK.PURCHASE.EVER. I've been blessed to own some rad axes, and none of them have compared to that beast.
I liked this one too. For random songs by random bands I’m suggesting “Whole” by Flaw and “Wasting My Time” by Default. But I’d love to see you watch some Highly Suspect and The Amity Affliction
Aw... middle school.... The beginning to my emo transformation... This song is seriously still hard for me to listen to bc it has so much nostalgia with it...
I fell in love with this version instantly, but check out the original version on their album 'Clarity'.... It's a little different but also amazing in its own way... Please give it a lesson fellas.... Big fan of the reaction series ✌️
Please react to "Bleed American" omg for me its a classic bit of americana, one of my favorite songs. this band was EVERYWHERE in the early 2000s. on every late night, all over the radio. but judging by the comments here, they've been largely forgotten about already, which is so sad, and god im so old.
Make sure to check out "Work" by Jimmy. Also, for a similar vibe and era of Pop Punk, watch the video "Threesome" by Fenix TX. Hell, while you're at it, give New Found Glory a shot.
This song always reminds me of jamming to music on T.V while getting ready for school! This one and "Running Away" by Hoobastank are bangers! You guys should do Alien Ant Farm "Movies" next!!
Pop punk? I'd say the term power pop fits this sound much better. I'd guarantee you've heard their biggest hit, The Middle, at least once. That song got overplayed to hell and back. Personally, I'd much rather hear your thoughts on Futures, Something Loud, or my 2nd favorite JEW song after this one, Lucky Denver Mint. IIRC, they got their name from a drawing made by the lead singer's kid brother. Another power pop group you need to get around to is Mae. I've never heard one song from them I didn't immediately love. STRONGLY recommend checking out Someone Else's Arms, Sometimes I Can't Make it Alone and Summertime
"They had a video for it, it was probably pushed at some point" - very relevant comment! I'm pretty sure this song is about how the band were pouring their heart into the music but their previous record company just weren't interested, and all they wanted to do was escape from the contract so they could move forward. This album was the first release with the new label, and they definitely pushed it harder!
def check out the track Bleed American, the title track of the album that had Sweetness on it. The album dropped a month or so before 9\11 and was actually pulled and the title removed before re-releasing because well... bad timing.
I first heard this song (although it was a slightly different mix, and there were quite a few mixes of this song) on a car drifting video called the Ruch Montage from back in like 2003/2004 I think. Great video (although most of the footage is standard definition and not great quality).
'Clarity' is one of the most beautiful albums ever. Read the book 'A Prayer For Owen Meany' then listen to Goodbye Sky Harbour...It'll have you in floods.
Funny thing about this is some kid tried to roast me for liking this in 9th grade. He said rap was superior and “I don’t like anything with drums” so I said “so you don’t like rap?” and he punched me. Good times lol
This whole album is fire. I randomly picked it up after listening to The Middle and every song was unique and catchy. I like Weezer too, but I'd honestly put this band above em. Hawk Nelson is another band that's similar in style. They're Christian Punk from the early-mid 2000s. "Something on my mind" is a good starter song by them.
Gotta hear the Middle or better yet their new song Something Loud…I love Jimmy Eat World…I went to school with Jim and he is an amazing artist he writes and produces all their music they have dozens of great songs on about 6 or more albums
I knew 💯 that Hollywood would love this one! This is a soundtrack of my life song. Reminds me of high school even though it came out a couple years after I graduated. The feeling though!

I know what you mean. Same exact thing happened to me the first time I heard Oh Yeah by The Subways
They should pin your comment! Great song!
Yes Amber Hollywood enjoy it very much as well as smokey. Can't wait to check out the other songs you mentioned. Thank you for all you love and support on Patreon we greatly appreciate it all.
@@Hollywood6IX yeah Smokey is harder for me to read. But I’m glad he enjoyed it as well. Thank you!
Smoke Dogg reppin the NOFX, respect!
The nuts thing about Jimmy Eat World is that PRINCE even covered one of their songs live, 'The Middle'. You should do that one of theirs next
Prince wanting to cover your song is like the highest honor you could get outside of Beavis and Butthead head banging to it.
Well there’s my random fact of the day, real recognize real though lol
This song was on EAs NHL 2003 and 10yr old me couldn't get enough of it lol my music taste has changed greatly from that time but everytime I hear this song, it brings back memories of a simpler time and one of my favorite games of all time.

Nice profile pic bro
The title track bangs ‘Bleed American’
If you want to know how big these guys were/still are, they currently have 10,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, the same number as Rage Against The Machine who are absolutely massive.
VERY underrated band, really good live too!
This song is definitely cool in its own right, but their catalog is SO deep. 23 is a an absolute gem, so is let it happen and a praise chorus.
A Praise Chorus is one of my favorites
23 is probably their best song.
Or Disintegration.
You would most definitely know the song “The Middle” by these guys
C’mon man
This is off the album Bleed American. The album has a bunch of great tracks including The Middle, Bleed American, and Get It Faster.
One of my all time favorite bands. super underrated.
This song is so underrated 😭💔
Got the boys jamming out to Jimmy eat world!!!
This song is one of those rare pop rock gems that pretty much everyone loves but not everyone will admit it.
My friend played this for me when it first came out in a 99 mustang convertible and before it started he said “I’m declaring this the song of the summer” …dude what a summer
Love how 2 seconds into the song, dude has to comment on their appearance lol. What does it matter?
This song is peak middle school for me, lol. I remember having this song burned on to a cd with a bunch of anime opening themes and Blink 182 songs. If you enjoyed this, I highly recommend checking out a live version of "Goodbye Sky Harbor", one of the best songs they've ever written!
These guys have a lot of catchy songs. Y’all should definitely check out “23” either on here or in your own time. It’s beautiful
These guys were huge for a couple of years. Gotta check out The Middle as well.
Definite my favorite song of theirs. Something about it just makes my ears happy. 'Bleed American' comes in a close second, with 'Pain' being third.
I went to see these guys perform when I was in high school. The crowd was absolutely insane during this song. Everyone was singing as loud as they could. Jimmy Eat World is a total vibe. The late 90s and early 00s where a great time,
Two instant clicks from the boys today! Jimmy eat world AND CCR! bangers. Keep it up guys. Tyvm
I bought dude's signature Telecaster (Fender JA-90 Thinline) because of this song.
BEST.DRUNK.PURCHASE.EVER.
I've been blessed to own some rad axes, and none of them have compared to that beast.
THANK YOU!!! This is my FAVORITE song by them - everyone reacting to the Middle but this one is the TOP
You guys would definitely know The Middle, and maybe Pain. But Bleed American, and A Praise Chorus are cool to check out too.
I've seen Jimmy Eat World live four times and they are legit. Great live, hard working and good music to boot.
🎤🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
I've never heard of these guys or this song bf but I'm diggin it

I loved "Wasting My Time" ! Did you know that Default went country?
@@jangles1839 wow! No I didn’t!
Default - Deny is amazing too
This is their second biggest song after the Middle. Their Clarity, Bleed American, and Futures albums are great listens. Check out "Kill"
In university, we had a lesbian teacher that always played this JEW song before class.
I was never a fan of Jimmy Eat World but I will admit that this song was actually really good.
Aw... middle school.... The beginning to my emo transformation... This song is seriously still hard for me to listen to bc it has so much nostalgia with it...
Happy Sunday bois Y'all should check out Hash Pipe by Weezer
Nice .. my favorite by them is a praise chorus….. you should check it out…. BTW where did you get that dope ass NOFX shirt???
