Personally, I'd much rather hear your thoughts on Futures, Something Loud, or my 2nd favorite JEW song after this one, Lucky Denver Mint. IIRC, they got their name from a drawing made by the lead singer's kid brother. Another power pop group you need to get around to is Mae. I've never heard one song from them I didn't immediately love. STRONGLY recommend checking out Someone Else's Arms, Sometimes I Can't Make it Alone and Summertime

I'm pretty sure this song is about how the band were pouring their heart into the music but their previous record company just weren't interested, and all they wanted to do was escape from the contract so they could move forward. This album was the first release with the new label, and they definitely pushed it harder!
def check out the track Bleed American, the title track of the album that had Sweetness on it. The album dropped a month or so before 9\11 and was actually pulled and the title removed before re-releasing because well... bad timing.
