- TBILISI, GEORGIA - Everything you’ve heard about Georgia, the country, is absolutely true; The people, the food, the hospitality, the architecture and the scenery are astonishing in Georgia. I have absolutely fallen in love with this small country nestled in the Caucasus region near the Black Sea. On my first day in Tbilisi, Georgia I set out to explore Old Town Tbilisi and the Georgian food scene, that’s what we do here at Globivore! First, I stopped near a famous bakery that doesn’t have a name, address or number but is across the street from the Tbilisi History Museum & Sioni Cathedral. This bakery is one of the hidden gems in Tbilisi. Next, as I continued on my way, I stumbled across the juice man who was selling freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. Pomegranates are ubiquitous across this region of the world and I highly recommend that you indulge in a succulent, refreshing glass of pomegranate juice during your stay. Lastly, I stopped at a famous restaurant in Old Town Tbilisi, which was given to me by a local, called Chashnagiri Leselidze. Here we explore a number of traditional Georgian dishes including Khinkali, Lobiani, Soko Kecze.
If you enjoy beautiful scenery, architecture and love to indulge in traditional Georgian cuisine, I highly recommend you to visit the country of Georgia on your next adventure. Remember to add Tbilisi to your itinerary. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this beautiful country.

I do like the grade system here! Also the creativity of combination too! That's what I do at the end of my meal to avoid food waste.
3:41 No one wants sugar in their soda! Spot on. Let's have spices and flavorings!
Very interesting sightseeing culinary tour of Tbilisi! I was in Tbilisi and liked it very much including the delightful Georgian cuisine!
I really love your video style and personality! Great job
9:55 it's really hard to find hearty, filling vegan food. I do realize people like lightness, but I really love the heartiness. It's meant to be eaten with one bite to work the rest of the day off on that!
l'm from Georgia 🇬🇪 Thanks for visiting my country ❤🤜🏼🤛🏼
I’m enjoying this! You made me so miss Georgian food
I’m enjoying this! Really miss Georgian food
Georgian culinary tradition most likely is the most Vegan - vegetarian in this part of the World. And very very versatile and tasty!
I am georgian and to my understanding they eat a lot of meat. It's true though that they make brilliant use of plant based foods, and very healthy ones like walnuts, unique greens/herbs, pomegranate, spices. I suspect, though, that these side dishes would disappoint a table of hungry georgians if not for the meat that they're served alongside.
@@lucifervalentine275 A very trustworthy opinion.
What about vegan?
Fuck ua!!!
We love meat!!! We have a lot of vegan dishies - but we have a lot of Meat dishies and Fish and chicken!!!!
OUR QUISINE IS VERTISILE!!!! GOT IT YOU!!!!!
I wish you warn us before taking a bite, but I know that this might be your style and something to expect on this channel.
damn, definitely get your moneys worth.Surprised so many vegan options. Nice captions you put on,extremely clear
I'm not georgian, but a quick look on the internet shows that it might be a mushroom kubdari. When it's braided, it's called a pastry. It looks like a closed pide, but it's too short for that. Might be mkhlovani - where the braiding's a specialty by the baker themselves. The best I could find for braiding is challah, and this isn't that.
Great
Sadly restaurant food is usually drowning in oil. Are there some that serve WFPB options or can you ask them to not use olive oil etc.? Interesting and delicious looking meals nevertheless. Feeling inspired to try out new things in my kitchen. Will visit Georgia this year and go to some restaurants myself.
in Georgian food you don't really taste oil that much because of its special seasonings. if you live in America the Georgia restaurants are almost in every state**
Thank you, Just wanted to ask if everything you ate in this video was vegan? Thanks
gotta work on your microphone work - it's all over the place! However, that's ok - you probably are doing your bes to bring what you can for us! This is one of the few georgian vegan videos out there.
Where is Lobio(beans) single best vegan georgian dish
It’s coming in my Batumi, Georgia video. I agree that it’s one of the best vegan Georgian dishes.
There is any store to buy vegan products in batumi or an online store to buy vegan products in georgia?

You can't eat walnut soap just like that it should be eaten with gomi, or bread.
♥️♥️♥️✅
Is there an extensive vegetarian/vegan food repertoire in Georgia?
from the news articles I read, no - but from the locals there - I believe it's pretty abundant at least amongst vegans there.
TIBISLI haha, come on
