The food was incredible it really was. It's awesome that there are so many places 💯 vegan aswell, really recommend Istanbul, it's one of our favourite cities for lots of things, and now food too!!
This video is great! Thank you for showcasing all of these great vegan places. I'll be sure to visit them when I'm in Istanbul too. I'm vegetarian, but always feel more secure eating at vegan places because there's no need to worry about potential cross-contamination. Its also really nice to see your enthusiasm about the food.
So many amazing places in Istanbul!! I feel like we could have ate out every meal for weeks and still have more to try. We loved it so much. We absolutely LOVE food 🤣🤣 so felt absolutely spoilt by this awesome city
Yesss! Finally, someone made a video showing that you can easily eat vegan in Turkey. Thanks. In fact, it is not necessary to even go to a special vegan restaurant. If you go to a local restaurant that makes home-cooked meals or to a restaurant with a wide variety of appetizers and vegetables, you can find many vegan options and easily have a delicious meal. But unfortunately, since other vloggers focus only on touristic and iconic dishes, everyone thinks that there is no other food in Turkey other than kebab.
🤣🤣 thanks so much 🥰 Istanbul was vegan heaven! And like you say lots of local dishes, veggies in oil etc is all vegan friendly too ❤️ Istanbul is one of our favourite cities in the world and we would love to come back and explore turkey even more in the future 🥰

Really enjoyed this video ... my mouth literally watered through the entire thing! I can still taste the yummy foods I ate in Istanbul (and have tried to recreate some at home - fail). I am a "grazer" and I think thats what I like best about the way they serve. . . Also I want to say - while not vegan myself, still interesting to see the challenges you sometimes face. (hate to say I actually lost a friend who went vegan and completely stopped talking to me after 25 years of friendship due to the fact that I would not stop eating animal products... of course, I think of him as a one-off... its not always so polarizing). Blessings to ya! I dont mind one bit that you did an entire video on FOOD! 🥰 Keep on keeping' on...

I know a few of them did, but to be honest I don't know what all actually has gluten in it. All the veggie things and jams etc should be safe in vegan breakfast, but the bread probably wasn't. Turkey is very famous for all the kebabs and such obviously, but the locals consume just as much olive oil and vegetables probably. For a lot of the classic Turkish dishes that are prepared with meat, there is actually another version prepared with olive oil and people jus choose whichever one to cook in their homes that day but both versions tend to be quite commonly and equally consumed. I guess if you are eating out, the kebab options are easier to come by, but as i mentioned there is like a whole section of dishes that are prepared with olive oil and probably even more frequently consumed than kebabs or other dishes with meat. Basically there tend to be like a course prepared with meat and another course prepared with olive oil in a dinner, or if you want you make the meaty dish one day and the olive oil dish the other day. Turkey is seriously a heaven with a vast range of classic vegan/vegetarian dishes that have been cooked for hundreds of years by now.
