Thanks for this, i'm looking for a 5G router currently for a sim broadband solution since we can't get fibre where we are. 5G speeds are fairly decent where we live, would you be able to do a test with the TCL Linkhub with external antennas to see if you achieve much performance again please?
I have recently got the tcl and the external antenna doesn't even work all connected and reset as it says and it just keeps using it's own internal ones. I would recommend getting a proper "industrial" 5g router as these little white trashcans are abysmal wish I knew before getting one.
@@GotAdam1 thanks for this, there seems to be a very limited amount of info using external antennas with devices.. I assume there is no option to change to an external antenna within the router? I was thinking of getting one of these but I’m getting mixed reviews.
What sim are you using. I'm trying to find the right network in the UK hoping to find one before u sent the £400 product back cos I'm getting 40mb download speed...
We typically use EE as we have 5G coverage where we are with EE. However we have picked up 5G on SMARTY & have pretty good speeds with o2 also. I would recommend looking online for the best coverage in your area & going with that.
@@eFones Thanks for your honesty. I currently use Giffgaff but found out there on a low 5g band hopefully the smarty will work wonders. 4g lite is just more stable then 5g on Giffgaff
Can I connect an antenna to the 5G CPE Pro 3 supplied by my service provider the mobile signal in this are is iffy and I was wondering if I could boost it to the 5G CPE Pro 3? Thanks for your demos. Frank.
