This is what I'm here for. My PC drive isn't the problem. It's the hard drive. When I tried using "D:" it didn't work. Because the drive won't recognize so I can't initialize it. It says the drive is busy.
i have non-system 256gb samsung ssd connected with sata cable that shows up in windows 10 disk mangagement as "disk 0 unkown 960 mb not initialized 960 mb unallocated". what happens if you want to use chdisk to check non-system (i.e. not C: drive ) ssd connected by sata? that does not show up in windows explorer with a drive letter? and only shows up in windows 10 "disk management" with a disk number? btw disk management takes ages to load.
as you noted in the beginning, disk 1 is the problem, so chkdsk c: is a useless command since the drive in question does not have a drive letter :(
"no size" - *clearly shows 500gb*
disk status is unknown ( Not Initialized ) how can you put C: ? 😕
solution 3 worked for me! Thank you so much for your help. I thought I would have to buy another HDD again.
Solution 3 worked for me I recommend it if nothing else works
Solution 3 worked. Thank you. You're a lifesaver.
If you force shutdown or got sudden shutdown on ur pc/laptop, the solution 3 is the right one 👍. Thank you, I almost want to format my SSD 🤣
nothing worked :(
second method just scaned my C drive witch wasnt the problem ... are you sure about that command ?
