I don't think I've ever had something run as poorly for no reason as the partition assistant did, anytime I clicked on disk surface test it did nothing and would almost crash constantly even when I wasn't doing anything on it
The details help me, though my part when I tried to do the disk management part when I tried to do the MBR part gave me a "Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)" message and I'm not sure how to fix that part.

It's beeping and it shows "not initialized" plus "unallocated" on Disk Management. Also, Disk Management doesn't show its capacity properly, like it was 134217728 GB. When checking it on AOMEI Partition Assistant, it shows 0KB and 0 partition. The program shows an error message when trying to recover this disk. Nothing happens when I click on "surface test".

@@AruanaACN I tried taking the portable shell off the HDD itself where the sata and power outlets are now exposed but I think I may have messed it up more. It won't even be detected on any level now and instead gives a beeping sound. Be very careful in taking the HDD out if you choose to do it. It was more difficult than I thought it would be. I haven't yet :( The only solution I think is to send it in for an expensive repair. I'm considering Luis Rossman because they seem the most honest.

Guide is nice but unfortunately none worked for me. When i try "Situation 2 - Method 2 Check Bad Sectors" it doesnt do anything. For other working drives surface test window opens but no reaction or error for broken drive and previous fixes didnt do anything than pop error every time. Disk part show that drive 5 which is broken one is online but nothing works. I've tryed couple of things in that app of yours and it replyed with errors 6 and 45 and i got nothing. One thing i didnt try is switching to another cable but since i dont have any other cables to try im boned on that one for now. Im gonna try accessing that drive from windows install program and i might try rebooting into that screen where you set up for windows safe mode (good old times when it was accessed by F8 right after bios) tomorrow but something tells me that wont work either, i guess that 2TB external drive is gone for now.
So I converted the disk and plan to move the os to ssd so I can boot from it and save other data on hdd, I cloned successfully with partition assistant.

You can check if there are bad sectors on the disk causing the issue. In Partition Assistant, right-click on the drive that is not showing space, choose Advanced - Check Partition - Check whether... - OK
The device is not ready error may occur when you attempt to access data from the hard drive. The external storage device is not well connected like the device is loosely connected to the computer, the connector is broken, or the USB port is damaged.
AOMEI doesn't worked, tried click surface test and nothing pops up - also at the end of the video you didn't bother to explain what to do next after getting the data from the surface test?
The surface test can only tell you if there are any bad sectors on the disk, then use the check partition to fix them but the physical damage cannot be repaired.
