I truly love how you interact with the kids Ryan. You don't treat them like little kids, you treat them as a peer. It will give them confidence and encouragement to go forward in this hobby. Keep it up and job well done!
I was thinking the same thing. That show looked crazy, but he doesn't blow any kids off and in fact goes out of his way to make them feel special. And this is despite him being a kid still himself! I can say this. I'm old lol.
@@gilly239 basically it means what the person said before him. maybe something like,”I like that trade” and he would say likewise because he also liked the trade. At least I think that’s what it means
Ryan and his team always finds a way to bring a happy tear to our eyes 🥲 Seeing how happy you make the kids and what you do is amazing! Thank You Ryan and CC2 Fam!
I really respect the way you treat the kids man. To see them light up when you interact and acknowledge them , you can tell it means alot to them. Keep up the good work!
This hobby is about relationships for sure. I love how you treat young kids. Those of us that are older love this hobby because of past memories we've had with card shop owners and how nice they were with us. So you are helping the hobby by helping the next generation.
I was able to attend this and the national, but couldn’t find you before I left to say thank you for all your hard work. This was the highlight of the national for me. It was simply phenomenal! Thank you so much to everyone on CC2 and Kentucky Roadshow teams and anyone else involved for their hard work! Can’t wait until next year!
I was there 30mins early....Trade night was insane!! It was so much fun!!!! CardCollector2 to the moon!! Ryan is such a good dude great for the hobby. Jimmy is one of the nicest guys on the planet!! Glad I got to be apart of hobby history!!!! Awesome content Ryan!!
i wonder is jimmy nice just so he can attract more customers, and behind the scenes he maybe another person different character you never know what kind of a person he really is
Always solid content. Many channels are just talking heads, and they hop from channel to channel. This one shows the hustle and the grind of the hobby. Great work!
Awesome trade night Ryan!! I have never been to the National. Looking forward to next years and meeting you. My man ChicityPull, Hitmanrips and Donovan showing up in the video at the 10:32 mark. Nice!!
Ryan = the G.O.A.T. Of everything sports cards. Seems like a genuine, authentic guy who really cares about the kids and the hobby. I don’t know how he does it. Great job as always Ryan
Thx for the video as I couldn't make the tradenight. Glad you got cards for the kids. I also left a PJ prizm card with your staff to give out. Luckily, I was able to meet you briefly on Friday as I recognized you on the way to the restroom 😊
I watch alot of sports cards videos but for some reason this one just had me mezmerized watching u talking to real people at that trade night.. just when u thought u have seen everything this video appears… ! :)
love all your videos man. I just got into the hobby again love all your content especailly all your shop video and card show videos. I want to make some investment on some up and coming rookies in basketball and football. What are best cards to get ? base? parallels? buy graded? buy raw then have graded?
Just due to natural progression, this has to evolve to become more of an "Event" Status through the years. I say charge $2 per person, and put all that money to food/drinks and giveaways etc... Especially snacks and drinks that need to last all through the night. You figure 2K people= $4,000. That will buy alot of soda and pretzels!
I just keep looping the awkward hand shake/fist bump interaction by the bar with the big guy, shit like that gets me every time. I've probably watched it 38 times now, just that 4 second interaction. Incredible. And also attention EVERYONE in a large group setting...its not 1995, stop shaking hands. Fist bump is fast, accurate, smooth, dont have to use sanitizer, dont have to shake someones sweaty ass hand that they just got done peeing with and didn't wash them, for christ sake...
I just want to add, ryan was clearly waiting for the fist bump for a solid 3 seconds and the big guy did the strangest most unethical thing with his hand, I've never seen anyone use that approach in a awkward handshake greeting. He basically like open/closed his hand way too fast for ryan to decipher what the fuck this guy was doing, so that's when ryan basically said "dude, I'm not trying to shake 3000 hands tonight...hit my god damn fist already" the big guy just couldn't catch on. Shame really. So unavoidable if the guy left his house more than twice a year and actually interacted with society. Ryan, I'm sorry man but I get it, trust me.

Ryan’s favorite word: “Likewise”
Ryan's favorite phrase: "Hi, I'm Ryan"
This is so true
What does it mean
