Love to see you doing deals with the kids and helping them out! They’re the future of the Hobby!! Don’t expect anything less from you but Much Respect on the honesty with the over payer! Glad to see you do well at the show!
Absolutely love these videos Ryan, they give a great insight to those of us who can't visit the shows in person from outside the States. Love that you're getting into F1. Big fan.
Great video Ryan! If you pay attention take notes to different parts of Ryans business model. You can set your own coarse and be more succesful in cards or other things in capitolism. It shows alot of main points in business , and buying and selling. Put all the videos together after you pick out some of th e things ryan does that you learned or noticed. Fill in some blanks that the video doesnt have time to go over. Like a poker player watchin his opponent on the table play, get your reads. Put the different things ryan is doing in different deals and shows. Study it look over it all at the end of 50 episodes watched or more, and learn from it. This will help you during this time in the markket right now if your lookin for answers investing this is how you do it. It will help you be a better negotiator dealer or better in business. This is how people train and become better dealers, and better at life or business in dealing with money...This is how people are trained to become successful investors in todays market this is how people get ahead in business. People I am currently teaching have studed ryans vlog, put 22 reports together so far. One from every person whos company paid me to teach them. We broke the 22 reports down as a group into 5. Then we broke down the 5 reports into one.Now we have one profile and we move to next person and there business model, and then we have learned how 2. Some people do things of ther own way in business that cant be taught in a book or class every class I teach is different, and learn differnt things about success and ways to profit...This is what you need to navigate the card market succesfully I hope you understand.
@CardCollector2 Where do you get your showcases at, or what are they called? They look really clean with the rounded edges and felt plus I see the hinges help it stay open for setting and cleaning up.
@@cardcollector2 If you can find out would be awesome. I setup at shows with cheap ones and I want to upgrade them soon, recently got a table cloth and table runner with my logo, the cheap showcases look out of place. Lol
Not really, no. Once you buy something, what you paid is irrelevant. For accounting, it’s $ in vs money out compared to inventory. We need to keep track of $ spent but if we buy a card for $100 and it goes to $50, what we paid doesn’t matter. It’s now worth $50. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Win more times than you lose & you’ll be good (IF it’s a business for you).
Hey at the very beginning of the vid, what was that black box and where did u get it i want something like that for my cards but i dont know what to get
@@cardcollector2 I saw you chatting it up with fans in the cafe area Friday, but when I made it over after getting food you were gone, then didn’t see you again. No worries. Catch ya in AC at a trade night
Lesser names aren’t ones people rush to list on eBay. Packers are a top 5 collected team in the NFL, so likely many people after these cards that never pop up. Low risk, high reward potential. 1/1s are always in demand
Great time for collectors in the market. I recently starting Kobe rookies and they’re rock bottom cheap. Had I started collecting them a year ago I would have paid 3, 4, or 5 times what I paid and these are not top of the line rookies.
Always appreciate the videos Brother! Curious to know what the results were for what to expect for National? Wish I was attending this year but decided to wait for Chicago again. AC is a long way for me to travel 😀 Thanks Ryan and CC2 Fam for the show episodes! Take care and stay safe!
Thank You Ryan for letting US know the Hobby We 💘 will Have So so Many Collectors/Dealers/Sellers Who'll Emulate YOU !!! I Can't think if A Better 🌟 to Follow. 👉Ryan = 🐐👈
I have noticed that you always low ball sellers, then charge higher to buyers. You have the same facial expressions doing both. Also use the same verbiage. Do well with kids though.
I love the kid asking you about the most expensive card you sold. 🤢🤑🤮 Having said that, do you speculate on anything and hang on to cards you’re convinced will keep climbing 💰 or is it pretty much a buy and sell asap mentality?
Much respect for taking your time and talking with the kids! A very good reason to cut out cursing on the pod. Keep it up
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Agreed. Tyler and Lou need to clean it up.
"Gese, that's tough" 🤣🤣🤣 That kid man!!!

How do you keep track of how much you paid for all those cards you buy? I assume you need to know when selling.
Great question
