For your point system have you guys considered a dark side point system for losing in a particular way? Like failing to pay the upkeep cost for Pact of Negation, losing to poison counters from only your own Phyrexian Unlife, not donating Demonic Pact in time, or similar effects?
I’d really like to ask, why is it fine that griffin went into this knowing it was gonna be archenemy? Why is there a point system that awards based on dealing with the person in first place? If you look at the commander vs scoring system they have no point allocations towards directly messing with the person in first, they do have first trike points which can incentivize maybe going after the person in first for an attack or two but to me, having direct point spreads towards someone just because they are in first is a mistake and can lead to games where there may be poor threat assessment, or a game like this where griffins deck basically did nothing because he was on the back foot the entire game from 3 opponents beating him down. It wasn’t interesting to watch in my opinion and it gave me as a viewer a feels bad feeling from it. Now this is all my opinion and if it works for you guys then hey go for it, but I wanted to voice that side of it if you don’t hear it very often from a viewers perspective. Video is still getting a thumbs up and I love the work y’all put in still
Hey Jacob, thank you very much for voicing your side, we really appreciate every bit of feedback we can get! You're definitely right that having a point for going against Griffin was maybe not the right thing to incentivize a healthy game for exactly the reasons you listed: threat assessment, and the fact that Griffin didn't actually do anything the entire game. Griffin was already going into this game knowing he was ahead in the points by a mile, so there wasn't really a need for additional reasoning for players at the table to want to target him. We're looking for ways to improve our scoring system and keep it fun and interesting with every video, and I'll be the first to admit that the 1 point challenge is usually something that's not meant to be as serious considering it's much more valuable to try to go for the 3 or 2 point challenges. Hopefully our future videos help to reinforce that the idea of the points is to rewards certain styles of play and deckbuilding while still having a variety of different decks at the table. Thank you again for the input and we're glad you tuned in for the video!
Command Valley I think the idea of going after the guy in first is still a valid thing to do once all other things are considered but the giving a point to each player who can get damage through the first time does probably place a bigger target than you may be giving it credit for. Sure plenty of games it may just be 3 players swinging a 1/1 at them for the point and then moving from there and I’d argue on paper that seems reasonable But a game like this where that Grothama came at him for a point, you’re talking about some games that could be seriously handicapping the person in first over 1 point for his opponents to gain and 1/4 of your life lost will change your strategy for the rest of the game when that Grothama player could have had a more advantageous strategical attack somewhere else but didn’t because they wanted to farm that point. Glad to voice opinions and please keep in mind I don’t ever do it from a place of malice, I love your content I think you’re doing great by the community at the end of the day, I’m never looking to pick fights just try to offer advice from my standpoint, looking forward to future videos!
Dunno the breakdown for the point system fully, but I think it's a huge mistake to base ANYTHING based off who is in first place. That breeds unhealthy and stagnant gameplay.
I came for Bruvac and ended up subscribing. 😅 Really dug the laid back atmosphere of the match, too. 🍻 good game!
If it makes you feel better, Griffin, you're my favorite ❤️
Thanks bae 😘
Emiel looks like it will be the next Commander to build and main for me.

Good video! Just a piece of advice, I think it would be a good idea to have the camera just show all of their boards, and not move it around so much.
Poor Griffin. Great game though.
New best friends you say??? 😂😂😂

Advisors everywhere are disappointed.
That Pestilent Petitioners + Bruvac deck is brutal!
Command Valley think about putting a helm of the host onto bruvac. Good times to be had by all.

100% agree! We’ve learned from our mistakes and we’re improving for future episodes. Thanks for your feedback!
