I noticed what looks like a hollow night figure/doll behind you, and i thought it would be a fun idea to do a Hornet doll when Silksong comes out!! If you dont want to, no sweat, i just thought id make a small suggestion, maybe plant a seed in your brain that blossoms into a cool project :)
I just had a terrible evening and watching this made me feel better, seeing his eyes and hearing you encouraging your viewers. It made me a little bit happier after such a rough time
KAYPEA, KAYPEA, KAYPEA!!!! Can I please tell you how ABSOLUTELY inspirational you've been to me as of me recently finding your channel. I watch a lot of your content now, even going into older videos. You're so motivating honestly, and your Not So Daily Reminders convinced me to start on my own DIY I've put off for years. I now have a materials list and am raising funding through taking art commissions!!! I'm at a milestone in the project already and it's genuinely ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!!! I hope you see this and I hope it makes you feel good knowing that me and so many others feel so motivated, inspired, and supported by you!💜
He is so adorbs! I love the little joyful face! Honestly, using flocking as intended is super easy. It's usually sold with a tinted adhesive that smells kinda like nail polish but it has a long drying time, and a flocking applicator which is a two part cardboard tube that fits tightly together and one end has some evenly spaced holes in it. You put on a respirator and gloves(because you don't want to inhale the flock, very bad for you), paint the item with the adhesive base, put a small amount of flock into the tube, then gently pump the tube to use manual air pressure to send the flocking airborne over your item. Best to overcoat than undercoat, but you can still overdo it and end up with lumps. Once the base is dry you just take a clean, soft brush and brush off the excess flocking (wear your respirator again). It's best to flock into a box to contain the excess, then you can just pour the leftover flocking powder back into the bag from the corner of the box. My description is more complicated than the process because I'm like that and I apologize.
Can we just appreciate editor Sarah of how she came up with this wonderful idea? I mean like she helped make this masterpiece yet I haven't seen an appreciation comment except for Kaypea's complement in her in the video! Anyways, thanks for this wonderful masterpiece and inspiration you have given us and telling us that we should have little breaks and not go to hard on ourselves!
Don’t apologize for honing your skills and trying new mediums! The wonderful thing about UA-cam is that we can go back to old videos to learn from your journey and see how you have worked to get where you are! As always, beautiful work and much love!!
I hope you get to a point that you don't feel bad about getting better at your craft. You're amazing and this is a huge inspiration watching you grow over the years. You made me feel like I can do this. I plan to try making my first one soon
I find all kinds of sculpting fascinating to watch. Just the process and skill it takes and ask the little tiny tweaks that actually make big changes is awesome to watch.
I’m so glad you are learning new stuff like digital sculpting!! You can make new stuff and take your projects to the next level. I enjoy watching it, and you don’t need to worry.
I love how you went nuts with the hot glue n leaves - its so cute! When I do stuff like that and feel the need to press down on the glue, I lick my finger first. It stops the glue from sticking to your finger/s and has enough of a barrier to block the heat so you don't get burnt 👌
YES YESS!!! I played this game a couple months ago and i absolutely loved it, not only are the characters super cute but the story is pretty good and really enjoyable to play. Love this little guy, he's adorable❤️
8:42 I am absolutely DYING of cuteness I wish there was a way to purchase your work but thank you for putting in all this hard work to make art dolls and videos
@ 3:00 when you said if it's fun for us to watch you 3d sculpt rather that sculpt traditionally: you know what is fun to watch? You! and your growth are fun to watch. how you get more and more comfortable with being in front of a camera, how you keep making stuff that look insanely difficult to make but not only do you make them but you do it with an amazing, inspiring attitude and no matter how daunting it may look, you get. it. done. while keeping us, the viewers, engulfed into the video; the making-of the art piece, your voiceovers, everything is holding my undivided attention in every video, even if it's similar steps like making the body of the piece, sewing the fabrics together, painting the face, I'm here for all of it. personally, I don't even plan to make an art doll, I've never even thought about making one but it's so attractive just watching how you make them and have fun doing it that I can't stop watching. Now, don't get me started on your "daily reminder", bc I'm gonna start it myself, everything you say, how we should start on anything we've been putting off bc of doubts or anything is so goddamn inspiring and it touches me in such a way that even if I'm watching the video in the middle of the night, I want to just get up and start drawing. It resonates with me because I am trying to be a better artist and make better stuff and be confident in what I make, it gives me all of those feelings and it gives me such a big smile because when you say it, you /mean/ it! Anyway, thank you for coming to my TED talk. Never change Karen. I love everything about you.
It's so dang adorable! I just wanna squeeze it. I like watching your digital sculpt parts. I've been wanting to learn how to. Watching your digital sculpt is just as interesting as your polymer sculpting.
Adorable baby chewy. I'm self taught wire wrap and sketch. Anyone can draw some are just practiced than others. Love your goofiness. It's face makes me think of a bumble bee.
Love the digital sculpting as much as the clay sculpting. Your videos are so enjoyable to watch, and it's awesome to see you try something new so you can add it to your arsenal.
I am *probably* never going to learn how to 3D sculpt, but I do enjoy watching the process and feel like I learn things from it. It's also great for other people who 3D sculpt and like making cute fun things.
If you read this hm I have a projective been wanting to do and I'm scared I'm Gonna need up... Like if I drop it when it is done drying! And I have gained courage from holy lord I need water- Also thank you for the reminder!
OMG ITS SO CUTE! HAHAH . You are so funny and bubble made me laugh a few times love your crazy fun rambling videos! Its just you being you and its refreshing to have a person be themselves fun and all!
I love seeing how the digital sculpting works! I watch doll making videos so I can make kawaii- love eyes at the skills of the creators (rather than ever making anything myself…) so I love seeing different things!!
I do photography for a living and it sucked the fun out of it for me so I rarely do works for myself. Since I found you and your videos, I have started to make art for myself again and I want to thank you for giving that back to me.
This would be a marvelous base style to use for a Moomin art doll! Using white fur (or even white fleece- Moomins are only minimally fluffy but are VERY plush - but fleece would show stitch work more than trimmed fur) and adding a tail armature would get you like, 80-90% of the way there! Just putting inspiration out into the void. Terrific job! The rot sprite is so stinkin' cute!
I have noticed that I learn faster if I have fun at the same time and I think people learn from you bc of that. You are funny and people like it and they like to watch and learn?
I love kp she always manages to bring a smile to my face and it is very clear that she puts a lot of effort into all of her videos, I would also like to tell editor Sarah I love her work and it's clear she trys hard to make kp's videos possible thank you editor Sarah! 😊❤
Haaaa such an adorable friend!! The bjd face plate mechanism is such a great idea :D look at him!! So Squishy! 🖤🖤💚💚 Also best teacher's star for you ⭐!!
I like watching digital sculpting when you do it cause it is fun to watch plus helps you make your art even more epic. Smart working out your design of a sketch out your creatures from games or anime or even a Manga. Sketching stuff out helps your mind when making stuff. It helps me out. Also love your Chonk Chonk Chonk Boi and thin thin thin Boi saying. Too funny and true. Keep up the good work and do your best. Can't wait for more of your art
this was the first video i watched on this channel and i knew that it was going to be a great video just by the 1th second. im watching this when im sick by the corona and you are giving me all the hope i could ever want :) thank you
I would once love to hear a "not so faily reminder" for when you are stuck or overwhelmed in a project you are currently workig on 😂🙈 that would make my day
Gurl no need to apologise! Digital sculpting is awesome to watch and the art of sculpting is also evolving:). I realy like watching these kind of videos as much as hand sculpting videos:). Also i agree with editor sarah. You go little rockstar!:D
I was finishing up a braided therapy doll as I watched this. As an autistic geek, one of the things I love about your dolls is that they're so different from what I make (I really like variety).
awe, that does look like a neat game. =) Thank you for the not so daily reminder. =) WOW!!!! the submitted art pieces that you shared are beautiful and amazing! Awe what an adorable critter.... Love him. and the face plates are a great idea! =) It all "walurked" for me. ;) *LOL!* ;) he makes me smile so big, and I just want to scoop him up and give him a cuddle/hug. =) Well done. =)

I don't care at all if you 3D sculpt or do it with clay or what, as long as I get to watch more videos of you doing it, I'm a happy man because these vids make my day
This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen and my goodness! You are so sweet and delightful 😊 I’m so glad I’ve stumbled upon this channel. Your little forest baby turned out so precious. Wa-lerk it, girl 😂❤

Yes, let’s plant these seeds!

He's absolutely adorable and when I look at him and especially his joyous face plate, I think he resembles a chibi sprite version of you 💙
Upon your encouragement, I started the sketch of a dragon YCH I have been meaning to do, and getting myself a bottle of water
I have been in the hospital for a year now and your videos make me smile every day thank you ❤
