As someone who loves drawing moth cat hybrids I have to say I truly adore this! The mitten turned out so cute and the colors on it are beautiful!
As a kid, I used to be obsessed with what I called. Flying cats. They were basically just mittens. I’ve also been drawing them for years.

I do this but with wasps, and I gave them the wacky name of cawsp. I especially love to mix and mash them with tarantula hawk wasps. Honestly, bugs are cute on their own, but with a chaotic fur ball, it just gets better.

I love your art, and I love how open you are about how many mistakes they’re are in art. Almost every other art channel doesn’t include them. This often ends up in people feeling bad over their art because of all the mistakes they’ve made. Side note, I adore editor Sarah.
Delightful does the same thing. She even posted a doll that she felt like everything went wrong. A lot of custem doll makers on UA-cam does it. Highly recommend them.

Two of my favorite animals in one go, the mitten is so cute. Also, fun fact, the white or black dots and moths and butterflies wings are “false eyes.” They give the illusion that the moth is looking to scare off potential predators! :DD

Story:
Our favorite wizard of Ice who was tending her garden (magic & non magic plants & flowers) but then heard a rustling sound in one of her petunia flower bushes and discovered
a basket with a large blanket hiding what ever's inside but there was meowing so it could be few kittens. but when she took the blanket off it was no ordinary kitten it was a Mitten
a moth like cat & a cat- o - lantern, she rush them inside since the poor angels almost starved to death and brought them some fresh milk since her puppies were kind enough to share,
she named them Jacko & Petunia & it was love at first sight. & from that very new year things have been very much sweeter.

im just now discovering your channel thru the power of youtube algorithm and may i just say this mitten makes me want to sob with how ADORABLE it is and seeing your process was fascinating!! id always wondered how art dolls like this were made but never actually looked up how its done. i cant wait to see what else you make, cuz this is just fantastic and absolutely superb!!

ooooooh if you're ever struggling with masking tape OR patterning the body for sewing, I have a tip!!! Use some plastic wrap like the stuff you'd wrap food in at restaurants or for making leftovers and just attach the tape to there, with only a small "lip" of tape holding the contraption in place. this has saved me MANY times from sewing and painting disaster!
after it's done, you can also cut the cocoon in half to create a rough sewing pattern! I use this for cosplay to cover skin-tight parts of a suit, but I bet it would be great for a project like this as well!

I use the quills from small feathers they taper to a sharp point and look just like whiskers also a big bag of feathers are cheap and you can use the barbs you strip off for flocking or stuffing etc, I will definitely try the white paintbrush method too 🖌️ thanks 😊
