I find externalising self talk on paper forces Te / Se logic, empathy, evidence, urgency, deadlines and action. This soothes anxiety, fears, insecurity, self sabotage, discomfort and vulnerability in Ni / Fi. Otherwise emo Ni / Fi hijacks Te, feeling threatened, defensive, self protective & insular, withdrawing to seclusion.

NiFi loop is so subtle that we tend to brush it of at first until it's too late.
